Chapter 801: Chapter 670: Reversal (Third Update)
“Surrender!”
“Boom boom boom! Ka-boom!”
The sudden conflict erupted on the fourth floor of the Library Tower and ended with unimaginable speed. The “Black Spots” that gradually fused together seed to possess so eerie power, but after Sally spoke, it was almost unable to form effective resistance.
An invisible great power swept through; it only had ti to emit a sharp sonic wave, shattering the glass of the fourth floor, and then imdiately shrank into a mass. The hollow face that emitted terrible pollution disappeared and transford into a black, sowhat sticky lump of flesh.
Yet, when it occasionally wiggled, the sudden rise of densely packed black buds still made one’s scalp tingle after seeing it.
Of course, this did not include Sally.
She stood at that mont on the glass-shattered floor, looking down at the shrinking “Mysterious Creature” that dared not release any more pollution, completely subdued by her power and obediently crawling into a glass jar at Sally’s command.
If only this scene was witnessed, one might not think of it as anything terrifying.
Even though the information Sally reviewed indicated that it, or a large number of similar “Mysterious Creatures,” began appearing after the Thorn Event on December 1st and targeted people associated with Tang Qi, launching continuous attacks.
Though it had not caused any fatal incidents, it seed only to put the target into a comatose-like state.
Yet even so, it was entirely beyond Sally’s tolerable range.
The sudden explosion naturally imdiately attracted other witches within the school.
Esralda, Eva, these witches, along with Selma, McGraw, and others, quickly arrived.
The spacious conference room of rada Special Education School’s “Decision Layer” was almost entirely gathered. They even temporarily communicated using so special ans, including the “Black Mountain Beech,” an Order Abnormality now fully belonging to the school.
Yet despite this, no one knew what kind of Mysterious Creature that black, sowhat sticky lump of flesh was.
What was its origin?
What was its purpose?
When it or similar creatures had attacked so many people before, what did they gain?
One question after another arose, yet there were no answers, even the Transcendent Creature like Black Mountain Beech, which held a vast amount of intelligence, knew nothing of it.
Selma and a few other witch experts in experintation conducted so stimulating experints in Sally’s presence, yet still couldn’t uncover any effective information.
“The preliminary verifiable information indicates that it should be part of a ‘biological aggregation.’ It does not possess independent intelligence and will only execute so form of chanistic command, with a pre-set target and only needs to attack.”
“The power it possesses is between ‘Professional Level’ and ‘Legendary Level.’ Based on the information, its ultimate target must be Tang Qi.”
“But so far, it hasn’t shown any lethal intent, more like it’s…”
“Gathering Intelligence!”
On one side of the long table, a witch with glasses and a teacher-like deanor chid in.
This witch’s position at rada Special Education School seed to be that of an Intelligence Officer. She recollected for a mont and quickly added, “Actually, ever since the Immortal Earl incident, the forr headmaster has already drawn attention from the Extraordinary World.”
“After that, he beca one of the East Federation’s Six New Stars, successively defeating more than one Evil God, raising rada Special Education School’s fa to nationwide recognition, and finally successfully fooling the Lord of Light during the Thorn Event.”
“The Thorn Event was the final outbreak point; in the Extraordinary World and even the boundless mystery, who knows how many Mysterious Organizations or Creatures will covet the power and wisdom possessed by the forr headmaster. Such probing may intensify over the foreseeable future.”
“If they are rely gathering intelligence, then the probing by it or its backing force could be considered gentle.”
She paused, seemingly recalling sothing, and turned towards Sally at the head of the table.
“Principal, since none of us can ascertain this thing’s origin, why not hand it over to the forr headmaster? After all, he is one of the Federation’s most renowned polymaths.”
After saying this, the witch nad “Nicole” playfully winked at Sally.
Staring at the eerie lump of black flesh, Sally blinked in response, but she quickly realized Nicole’s implied intention.
Since returning from the “Tree Secret Realm,” or more fundantally, since awakening in Winston Town, Sally’s temperant had beco extraordinarily dominant, not hesitating to express her emotions.
The entire Witch Group was aware that their leader was fond of Tang Qi.
The current Witch Group had fully recognized Sally’s leadership, from Esralda, who had almost completely retreated to being a “hobody,” to the newly matured young witches, all trusted Sally imnsely.
Witches like Esralda and Nicole, who were older, almost considered Sally a younger sister.
If Tang Qi had not left the Witch School early, he wouldn’t be facing just Sally’s affections, but the entire Witch Group’s pressure to marry.
Nicole was telling Sally that this was a good excuse to find Tang Qi.
The mutual glances and winks between the two were entirely noticed by Eva, Selma, and others, who all shared tacit smiles, knowing Sally would refuse.
Sally indeed didn’t hide her affection for Tang Qi, but she also didn’t obsessively cling like an ordinary young girl.
If she needed an “excuse,” to visit Tang Qi.
This sudden and strange assault event wasn’t even the most troubling; at the rada Special Education School, troubleso events occurred almost daily. If Sally wished, she could seek out Tang Qi every day, but she didn’t.
In fact, ever since Tang Qi left the school, the two had only exchanged ssages from afar and hadn’t t again.
Eva, Selma, and the other witches thought Sally would refuse again this ti.
Yet, as they thought this, Sally, sitting at the head of the table, suddenly revealed a shy smile, then quickly said, a little embarrassed, “Notify those outside the school connected to him to issue a warning.”
After speaking, to the imnse surprise of the crowd, Sally and the glass jar containing the “mysterious creature” disappeared together.
On the stairs of the Library Tower, Sally, holding up the corner of her dress, walked cheerfully toward the fourth floor, a smile of anticipation and joy playing on her lips, as if she couldn’t wait to et soone. Floating behind her was the excuse she had found.
The transparent glass jar held a clump of blackened flesh.
A mysterious creature sowhere between Professional Level and Legendary Level!
No threat, whether against Tang Qi or Sally.
Especially the forr, who in the Extraordinary World, is known to have defeated not just one Evil God; a mysterious creature without Legendary Level combat power could not harm him.
Everyone thought so.
It seed even Sally thought so, planning to use this as an excuse to et Tang Qi.
Soon, Sally’s figure appeared on the fourth floor, her cheerful steps directly heading towards the bedroom, where there was a giant floor mirror. As Sally approached, the mirror surface suddenly surged with radiance, and a magical portal appeared.
On the other side, could it be the forr Witch School Principal, that mysterious human wizard?
Ahead, Sally softly chanted a tune, appearing in an exceedingly good mood.
Completely unaware of what was happening behind her.
In the floating glass jar, within the clump suppressed by an unseen great power, not daring to move, there was a dark corner; Black Spots wriggled, and an empty, grotesque face with an exaggerated fierce smile gradually erged.
Moreover, this ti, in the originally dark eye sockets of the face, a ghostly green light began to shine, enough to make any soul tremble with fear and lose its sense of self.
It seed as though a suprely terrifying will was concealing itself, hiding in a small clump of sticky, revolting black flesh, coveting sothing, awaiting sothing.
But just as it was about to act, the path ahead suddenly darkened.
The green light flickered, and it saw Sally’s incredibly beautiful face, a mix of charm and innocence, appear without warning before the glass jar.
Murderous intent more intense than ever before surged from Sally’s eyes.
“Did you really think I would take you to him? Disgusting thing.”
Sally looked down at the “abnormality” within the glass jar, her gaze seemingly able to penetrate all obstacles and see directly the thread of destiny behind any object.
She gave the mysterious creature with unclear intentions no chance to resist, enticing it to reveal its sinister aura.
Sally imdiately reached out a hand, lowly commanded:
“Mysterious Opening!”
“Exile!”
“In the na of destiny, Sally orders you… to self-destruct!”
“Boom!”
With utmost decisiveness, exhibiting terrifying combat skills, Sally displayed her abilities.
She directly shifted the battlefield into the mysterious realm, expelling it, while issuing a “Truth Spell” to order its self-destruction.
Watching that clump of mysterious creature completely burst apart, mixed with shards of glass, transforming into drifting black spots in the mysterious realm, about to beco rely floating debris, Sally nonchalantly closed the opened portal.
Having resolved the combat with great speed, Sally showed no trace of pride on her face.
Even at this mont, she recalled those hollow eyes with the eerie green light that had just made contact with hers, not knowing exactly what she saw, a rare trace of panic appeared on her face.
She originally intended to turn and walk towards the bizarre content oil painting hanging on the wall, but after taking one step, she directly halted.
Suppressing the urge in her heart, she took steps toward the workstation, then took out an “old object” from her bosom.
It was an iron piece, looking extrely crudely made.
This was initially given to her by Tang Qi, who used it to provide Sally with a lesson in mysticism knowledge, allowing her to learn the “Truth Spell.”
Originally, the iron piece was for one-way transmission, but Sally capriciously transford it into two-way with a Truth Spell.
Now, Sally, holding the iron piece, was carefully transmitting ssages to Tang Qi over a distance.
