Those present included not only the locals from Eagle Heart Port but even tourists who had traveled from other cities, all with the sa purpose.
The fragnts of the statue of the Lord of Thorns, transported here from Jiatai City, had already been assembled in New Thorn Square and only one final process remained—to reattach the Wings of Freedom, recovered by the officials of Eagle’s Nest City from the sea, to the statue.
The two pieces were originally one and the sa.
It’s just that hundreds of years ago, the Wings of Freedom were lost due to an accident.
What astonished the populace was that Jiatai City actually agreed to gift the statue of the Lord of Thorns to Eagle’s Nest City.
After all, the Lord of Thorns is a Divine being whose status within the Bright Church is second only to that of the Lord of Light.
That towering statue was indeed one of the symbols of Jiatai City.
Although Jiatai City and the Church both made their reasons public:

This was especially true following a series of seemingly trivial events:

“Thorns Churches and morials, already scarce, have been shutting down across various regions.”

“Rafael and His followers leaving the Church should be considered the greatest weakening of the Church in a long span of ti… since it was an internal strife within the Church, and Rafael temporarily erged victorious, although His number of Believers far falls short of the Lord of Light, His situation, like my own, is still relatively good.”
“Especially for , the definition given by the Mysterious Side of the Federation and even Origin Star is probably: ‘A Wizard who knows ancient knowledge, friend of the reincarnated ‘Lord of Thorns’, with a second Profession of ‘lter Wizard’, powerful and Mysterious.'”
“If one has an exceptional imagination, one might even surmise that I, too, am the reincarnation of so deity?”
Tang Qi patted the hot dog crumbs off his hand, his mind filled with turbulent thoughts.
After pondering for a mont and confirming his own situation:
“Other than so chaotic, Evil Camp Evil God believers who might co looking for trouble, any other camps and Transcendents are likely to remain Neutral, with organizations like the Holy Eagle Nest Society eager to court without hesitation.”

The last thought ca to a halt, Tang Qi turned his gaze to Gluttony at his side, which was devoid of any disguise.
With everyone in the entourage covered by an “Illusion Spell,” there was no need to worry about being detected by the civilians coming and going.
Seeing its master looking over, the personified features of Gluttony imdiately contorted, its gigantic maw clamping shut instinctively, displaying the visage of a miser, to which Tang Qi could not help but feel a mix of laughter and tears.
Yet, Gluttony’s reaction was also quite normal, having followed Tang Qi for a considerable length of ti, but seeming to have never had such a bountiful haul as now.
In fact, not too much ti had passed since Tang Qi, along with the Holy Eagle Nest Society, battled the “Devouring Beast”. It had been less than two days.
Even though the “Mysterious Object Explosion” caused by the fall of the Devouring Beast had resulted in at least a hundred Curios scattering, aside from the initial bizarreness with that “hamr” near him, Tang Qi did not let Gluttony, the Night Beast, or the Elf gather any.
While inside the body of the Devouring Beast, however, Gluttony had quite a harvest.
So much so, it was sowhat “overstuffed”.
For Pocket Space Curios like it, which are also considered a kind of Extraordinary Creatures, despite possessing Pocket Space, there is a limit and certain restrictions to what they can store; once too many Curios imbued with Extraordinary Power are accumulated, the spillover of their aura might cause it to go out of control.
And so Curios that hold imnse Divine Power or special attributes, it cannot swallow at all, at least not until it grows into the next stage.
Like the Thorny Law Code obtained from the Lord of Light, the “Holy Covenant Tablet” Tang Qi had recently obtained through trickery, and the freshly acquired “Devouring Crystal”.
