Chapter 592: Chapter 537: The Bootlicking Tang Qi

“Ralph has not died completely; in the form of his soul, he hid within the Handbook and even used divine power to mask his existence. Not only is my special ability unable to detect him, but other higher-level beings also cannot see him.”

“He hides in a state akin to slumber, unable to perceive the outside world, but he knows that whoever gains the inheritance must enter this world… He just needs to appear at the critical mont to complete his remaining delusions?”

“In this world, Ralph will no longer be just a wild wizard but exist as Ellyia’s creator. His authority in this world will be higher than anyone else’s, and he will beco the most terrifying existence?”

“Then what about rlin? Is that obscure will inside the Corpse Witch him, or is it the one beside ? What does he want to do?”

At this mont, Tang Qi is desperately trying to maintain a facade of calmness, while a storm rages in his mind. Thoughts of doubt and astonishnt surge, driving him to frantically ponder the unprecedented situation before him.

The past adventures, enduring with heart, patient, waiting until the end to strike—that was always Tang Qi.

But this ti, he has t his match, and it’s two extrely cunning and old opponents at once.

Ralph!

rlin!

Either of them, theoretically, has the power to crush Tang Qi.

The forr, upon entering this world, should have activated his authority. If he uses the power of “Ellyia,” even if Tang Qi releases Diana and destroys Kels’ Eye, going full power in combat, he likely would still not be an opponent to reckon with.

And the latter, he has already turned into a Corpse Witch.

Huh? Wait?

Pondering Tang Qi suddenly has a shock of realization; he suddenly guesses rlin’s plan.

“Corpse Witch, from the beginning, rlin could not disguise his desire. Only a wizard with an obsession for eternal life like ‘Sosass’ would turn into a Corpse Witch upon mutation, rather than so other monster.”

“rlin, desires eternal life.”

“This ans that before he leaped into the Doomsday Volcano, the ssages he passed on to Amanda and the others might not all be true. After crossing the Forest of Ignorance, the Dark Plain, and the Doomsday Volcano, he never saw the so-called ‘mother,’ because Deborah had long died… In the town, there was only the shell of Ellyia, only the chaotic thoughts polluted by Ralph.”

“He harbored evil intentions; he also wanted to snatch the ‘Divine Source,’ but he has no key and cannot enter Deborah Town. However, with his expertise in prophetic techniques, he foresaw coming. He predicted the arrival of Ralph’s inheritor, so he left the corresponding arrangents.”

In Tang Qi’s mind, there’s a sense of sudden enlightennt.

Although all are inexplicable guesses, these thoughts co together with an undeniable rationality. Especially the abnormality that rlin mutates into, not sothing else but specifically the ancient Corpse Witch of the Age of Ignorance, which makes his desire indiscernible no longer.

As he realizes this, the whole person does not relax in the slightest bit.

On the contrary, Tang Qi becos even more tense at this mont. In the field, there are only himself, Amanda, and “rlin,” but the real situation is full of extre terror. Amanda is an insignificant little chess piece; two vastly powerful and sinister beings are hidden.

Corpse Witch rlin and Ralph, they are both waiting, waiting for the “Light Key” to open the doorway to Deborah Town. Who can enter first shall seize the “Divine Source” and have the qualification to beco a divine being, to pursue eternal life.

“We can’t continue to wait; once the face-off happens, whether it’s rlin or Ralph, they will take action against , this ‘chess piece,’ because I’ve lost my value. I can’t hope that the two will fight against each other so that I could take advantage of the situation… This kind of outco usually only exists in poorly written adventure stories.”

In silent and slightly eerie atmosphere, Tang Qi takes a breath, his gaze suddenly falling on “rlin” beside him.

This wizard who ca riding an elk and was resurrected by him with a “Life Spell.”

In Tang Qi’s perception, his state was the sa as Norma’s and Diana’s in the past, as a being revived by the Life Spell, his sovereign is the spellcaster Tang Qi. Perhaps rlin’s main body did sothing within this “Residual Soul.”

But the fundantal rules cannot change.

Tang Qi ignores the doorway to Deborah Town, which is being opened by the “Handbook,” and stares intently at rlin, directly asking a question that causes a huge change in his body.

“What is the weakness of Corpse Witch rlin?”

“What?”

Old rlin, who looked relieved as if he had completed a grueling task, is stunned when he hears Tang Qi’s question. Since the sovereign is asking, he cannot resist and instinctively begins searching for the answer within his soul.

This action makes Old rlin’s face, full of affinity, twist with complex expressions of distortion, stupefaction, and anger.

He is a key part of the Corpse Witch rlin’s plan; this residual soul is indeed filled with justice and goodness, so after searching for the answer, it’s as if he has encountered sothing unbelievable.

The holy white light that floods out of his body starts to tarnish, and dark grey pollution rapidly creeps up.

But in the end, as a residual soul, he cannot resist the rule of the “Life Spell.” With a contorted and struggling face, as if he’s disconnecting, he speaks in a broken, intermittent voice:

“Death God!”

“The power of the Corpse Witch… stolen from…”

“Boom!”

rlin speaks only half before a terrible and unexpected change occurs.

Amanda, shocked by the terrible change in “rlin,” subconsciously looks up. She cos eye-to-eye with a skull wearing a “rotten oak crown,” those are eyes mixed with grey-black, seemingly full of death.

The cold young girl lets out a muffled groan, and blood tears flow down from the corner of her eyes.

Her body collapses, and she suddenly falls unconscious.

Tang Qi effortlessly caught Amanda, forcibly suppressing the urge to look at the head. He knew that at this very mont, a gaze like that of the “Death God” was watching him, and it needed to do nothing.

It simply watched Tang Qi, and the surging Molten Magic inside him began to extinguish.

At this mont, he suddenly recalled so of the harrowing experiences of his predecessors chronicled in the “How did the lting Furnace go out?”.

Part of it involved them provoking the Death God Camp.

At the zenith of the Molten Furnace Wizards, they had nearly dug up all the Evil Gods that could be unearthed, with nothing left to burn or offer, so overly brazen predecessors finally set their sights on the Death God factions, wavering between Order and Chaos.

Thus, a war that was evenly matched began, but ultimately ended with the Molten Furnace Wizards defeated, and it ended as abruptly as it started.

Death Gods are quite unburnable—a word of advice from the predecessors.

Tang Qi still stared intently at “rlin,” as if he knew that the resurrected “Corpse Witch” wouldn’t strike at him imdiately.

The current rlin began to dissipate, like ashes in the wind, turning into dark gray specks of light about to vanish completely.

Before that, he finally gave his last answer.

“Those who steal the power of the Death God cannot face the true Death God.”

With the last of his words, the Residual Soul of “Bright rlin” died completely.

Before that, Tang Qi, embracing Amanda, silently cast the “Guardian Spell,” while slightly bowing his head toward the “Light Key,” which had opened a narrow portal, and the pages of the yellowed paper that were flipping, he spoke with respect.

“My ntor, the great Ralph, your disciple has completed the task, and I sincerely wish that you will, with Ellyia by your side, ascend to the Throne.”

With a well-delivered flattery, Tang Qi didn’t hesitate to retreat backward, still carrying Amanda.

It was also at this mont that he finally locked eyes with those grayish-black pupils.

Boom!

From out of nowhere, a hamr imbued with the Death Aura slamd rcilessly into Tang Qi’s soul, and blood began to seep from his eyes and the corners of his mouth.

The Sun Flas burning in his eyes also extinguished in an instant.

In the remaining glow, Tang Qi watched the more terrifying than ever gray-black tide surge from the depths of the “Doomsday Volcano,” the endless sea of flas that had been burning for untold Ti, began to extinguish bit by bit, like a virus, the Death Aura eroded everything here.

The “Corpse Witch” that devoured all the Monsters, like the Death God, looked down upon everything, on all.

The twisted, ghastly white Magic Wand, as if to pierce through the heavens, struck down towards Tang Qi from an infinitely high position.

Behind Tang Qi, illusory fleshes were ford as Diana erged, taking Tang Qi and Amanda away from the area before the horrific Magic Wand could strike.

In the next mont, within the Light Barrier that had already opened a huge portal, a Human Figure erged from the flipping Book Pages.

He donned a sowhat unkempt nightgown, hair disheveled, skin pale to near transparency as though it hasn’t seen the sun for decades, his figure tall and straight, slightly aged but not enough to conceal a handso and Abnormally charming face.

But what was most unforgettable were his eyes, filled with a depth of emotion and obsession that could touch the heart of anyone.

Mad Wizard Ralph!

This perverted Wizard, presud dead for many years, unexpectedly possessed an excellent appearance.

He glanced first at the fleeing Tang Qi and Amanda, a flicker of surprise crossing his eyes, then at the falling Magic Wand, and at the resurrected Corpse Witch rlin, his highest Level of authority allowed him to directly comprehend the thoughts of Corpse Witch rlin.

A fury filled with murderous intent surged forth.

Ellyia belonged to him.

Anyone who tried to lay their hands on “Ellyia” would face slaughter.

A magnetic and raspy voice, impossible to ignore, echoed across the now completely extinguished “Doomsday Volcano.”

“Wrath of Ellyia!”

“Boom!”

The Fla Spell’s true na suddenly spat from Ralph’s lips.

Following that, the extinguished “Doomsday Volcano” reignited, with more terrifying bursts of infinite Flas than before, nurous gigantic “Fire Guns” ford out of thin air, piercing through the sky. After rlin’s Magic Wand was blocked by the “Guardian Spell” cast by Ralph at so unknown Ti, those Fire Guns rcilessly penetrated its giant body.

Gap after gap appeared all over the Corpse Witch’s body.

But inside, revolting grayish-black pieces of flesh wriggled, starting to self-repair, mixed with the wails of Monster heads and terrifying Pollution of grayish-black gases.

rlin, having transford into a “Corpse Witch,” seed to forget his identity as a Spellcasters.

Or rather, it believed that without casting a spell, it could crush Ralph.

It’s huge body rose from the sea of fire, lunging towards Ralph. Below the Rotten Oak Crown, a Blood Bowl-like mouth gaped open, biting towards Ralph, as two gray-white hands reached through the space, trying to forcefully pry open the portal, deeming it sowhat narrow, trying to barge into the “Mysterious” Deborah Town.

Far away, Tang Qi, who was reviving Amanda, looked at the gradually opening “portal,” witnessing a battle scene that seed to belong only in myths, and within his eyes, an unfelt battle intent began to fiercely ignite.
