Chapter 587: Chapter 534 Corpse Witch

[Curio: Red Crown.]

[State: Normal.]

[Information Fragnt One: Originating from the Dark Plain, its forr master was the strongest manifestation, the ‘Red Angel’. The crown possesses the extraordinary power to control and transform targets’ desires. It is nearly the summation of all manifestation abilities.]

[Information Fragnt Two: The bearer of the crown must endure pollution upon each use, and will inevitably suffer from side effects. As the crown is used excessively, the pollution intensifies, until the wearer’s level reaches Demigod and becos exempt from pollution.]

[Information Fragnt Three: It has an upper limit of use, for those below Demigod.]

[Information Fragnt Four: It is unique; the Dark Plain will not give birth to a second Red Angel.]

As the information fragnts passed by one by one, Tang Qi’s mouth curled into a distinct smile of joy.

Clearly, compared to the “Existence Mask”, “Love Secret dicine”, “Desireless Collar”, and other treasures he had acquired before, the power of this crown was undoubtedly the most formidable.

Although it still could not compare to “Diana,” its effect was to so extent much greater.

Tang Qi could almost imagine, if he donned the Red Crown, he could at least temporarily transform into the “Red Angel”. If combined with Diana, Tang Qi’s combat power would once again surge dramatically.

Just this crown alone made the dangerous ordeals Tang Qi had just endured worth it.

The process of acquiring this crown had cost him not only so personal injuries, one part of the price, but also two Sun rit tokens, exchanging them for a life-saving witchcraft that other lter Wizards considered “chicken ribs”.

A type of witchcraft that used oneself as bait and would also self-inflict harm, and whose might could only maintain for an extrely short duration—it might indeed be viewed as chicken ribs to the predecessors of the Dark Era, but in the Dark Plain, it was unexpectedly very suitable.

Moreover, the rewards were substantial.

While thinking, he did not hide the smile on his face, until he felt sothing and looked up, just in ti to et a pair of beautiful wolf eyes. Under the reflection of the Red Cloak, those eyes showed joy at first, pleased that Tang Qi was still alive.

Then, they turned to a mock smile.

Amanda reappeared, amusedly looking down at the pit’s bottom, where Tang Qi was holding the crown, his face full of delight.

From their first eting, Tang Qi had always maintained that image of calm and aloofness.

Like now, which was quite rare.

Being stared at by a young girl like this, ordinary people would probably blush with embarrassnt, but Tang Qi just coughed lightly twice, and then calmly stashed the crown into Gluttony’s belly, leapt lightly, and left the bottom of the pit.

“Let’s go,”

“Beyond here should be the Doomsday Volcano.”

As Tang Qi uttered these words, Amanda’s mind instantly conjured “Grandpa rlin”. Her expression dimd, then she thought of the fate of those partners at the mountain’s base; after their death, they would resurrect, but most likely beco Fallen.

The whole world was progressing towards the Fallen. The only hope was her and Tang Qi, or to be more precise, Tang Qi—the “outsider” who inherited Ralph Witchcraft—was the only one who might save this world.

Amanda’s inner oppression was palpably felt by Tang Qi.

But he could not make any promises, he couldn’t even ensure his own survival.

This was normal, in the Mysterious Side, even the legendary heroes, the powerful Demigods, and even “Divine” beings who have achieved godhood, could not guarantee certain survival.

The so-called All Spirits “above the Mysterious,” their numbers are always changing.

In silent atmosphere, the two successfully left the Dark Plain.

As the dominant “Red Angel” was slyly killed by Tang Qi, naturally, no other manifestations would appear.

Soon, no longer would there be thin mists in front of them, but rather, the air was filled with a burnt stench carried by hot winds, with strands of black smoke drifting over from afar, and the ground underfoot was no longer cold sand and stone, but charred earth that occasionally displayed remnants of solidified magma.

Gradually, the air grew hotter, cracks appeared on the earth ahead, and boiling magma could vaguely be seen below.

Above the heads of the two, the pitch-black smoke enveloped dark red Flas, obscuring the entire sky.

At last, no clear path could be seen ahead, everywhere was blocked by slowly flowing, yet containing violent power, magma… as these scenes were reflected in their eyes, a horrifying sense of oppression began to uncontrollably occupy Tang Qi’s mind.

More terrifying, under this suppression, was a mad urge to destroy.

Tang Qi could almost see that his own eyes had turned dark red at so point, and within them burned the Molten Furnace Flas, weakening him further, making the urge even stronger.

“Get on!”

Just as he was about to do sothing, Amanda suddenly transford into a giant wolf.

The Red Cloak wrapped around Tang Qi’s body, and he landed on her back.

A cool breath surged over, and then Amanda moved.

She seed to know of a hidden path, her beautiful and domineering figure flying straight into the thick black smoke, plunging everything into darkness, making one’s head spin with the disgusting, burnt stink of the polluted smoky sea, enough to cause most Transcendents to die on the spot.

Tang Qi had so tricks that could exempt him, but it seed unnecessary at this mont.

Because Amanda had transford into the “Moonlight Arrow,” following an almost imperceptible path, she shot through the smoky sea in a very short ti.

Boom!

Suddenly, the view opened up.

The scorching, boiling “volcano crater” that they had anticipated didn’t appear. Instead, what instantly filled Tang Qi and Amanda’s vision was an endless sea of fire that connected the earth and the sky. The dusky-red breath churned, coalescing into various anomalies that swamped both their eyes.

Everything seed unreal. They could not see mountains or any other solid objects, only the boundless flas, the boundless anomalies, as if anything living, any entity thrown into it would be erased without a trace.

As this thought erged, an unheralded Great Horror struck.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The sea of fire suddenly roiled, and a “giant” rose from it.

What first appeared was a pair of arms, grayish-white all over, muscles coiled and sinewy. In one hand, it held a “Magic Wand” made from so sort of branch, and in the other, it clutched an ancient book. Then, its torso beca visible.

A massive torso, akin to that of the Ancient Giant Clan, could be glimpsed through the rotten Wizard Robe, revealing a body mottled with muscle and covered in black spots symbolizing rot. As it rose from the sea of fire, unimaginable, gray-black gases ford a tide, surging from the depths.

The sea of fire was forcibly parted.

This allowed Tang Qi and Amanda to clearly see that the creature’s grotesquely swollen muscles were dotted all over with sutures, and within those black spots, heads of struggling, wailing creatures were visible.

In life, they all had been so sort of Abnormalities.

But now, they had beco a part of the “giant.”

Tang Qi and Amanda suddenly realized why they had encountered monsters within the Forest of Ignorance and Dark Plain, particularly the latter which harbored many Manifestations, yet in the supposedly most horrific “Doomsday Volcano,” they had encountered nothing.

The answer was revealed. Perhaps long ago, the Doomsday Volcano was also filled with countless monsters, but in the end, they were all eaten by the giant before them.

Only it remained within the volcano.

At this mont, what Tang Qi felt was an aura even more terrifying than that of the “Red Angel.”

“Grandpa rlin?”

When Amanda involuntarily uttered these words,

On her back, Tang Qi had an unprecedentedly solemn expression.

Even if this giant, with an appearance resembling a kindly Wizard, seed to be caught in a slumber, or a state of Petrification, maintaining its pose atop the “Doomsday Volcano,” the surging gray-black tide bursting from its body warded off all flas.

His Special Ability, at this ti, was unable to capture any Information Fragnts.

But at this mont, he didn’t need abilities to sense a great deal.

For instance, that increasingly rampant gray-black tide spreading crazily towards them was clearly a Death Aura with Horror Pollution; if unleashed within the Federation, it could perhaps kill a third of the Federation Residents overnight.

But Tang Qi had no ti to consider all this.

His gaze was completely focused on the area behind the giant’s head, a shadowy, desolate World seed to erge from the void, from which an endless stream of gray-black corpse air erupted, nourishing the giant’s body with an aura that seed indestructible and eternally undying, overwhelming every sense of the two onlookers.

“Corpse Witch!”

Suddenly, Tang Qi spat out a na that was utterly foreign to Amanda.

However, at this mont, if another polymath were present, they would instantly recognize the true horror within those two words.

“During the Age of Ignorance, so Wizards, in their quest to explore the subject of ‘Eternal Life,’ caused many dangerous incidents. One among them was a Wizard nad Sosass, who after his Promotion to Legendary, with the help of so treasures, brazenly broke into the ‘Mysterious Side.’ It is unknown what he experienced there.”

“In the end, when he once again descended upon the earth, he had usurped a part of the Death God’s Authority, the price he paid was the complete death of his body… Although ultimately this trailblazing Wizard still perished, during the thousand years of his rampage, both the Human Clan and other Species viewed him as a Great Horror.”

“The path he forged is called… Corpse Witchcraft.”

Tang Qi had anticipated that there would be so hidden matters associated with rlin, who had willingly plunged into the “Doomsday Volcano,” and that his transformation would certainly differ from the Mad Fairy, the Long-Haired Demons, and other such Abnormalities, but he had never imagined that rlin, after his transformation, would directly beco a “Corpse Witch.”

At this very mont, Tang Qi’s heart was once again racing wildly.

Echoing in his mind were the thunderous alarms.

If not for his strong willpower suppressing it, Tang Qi would have already turned to flee.

“Even if I have achieved Demigod status, would I be enough to face the hamr of this Corpse Witch?”

This question arose in his mind, and the answer was imdiate.

Not enough!

In the Age of Ignorance, that first Corpse Witch “Sosass” had once killed a real Divine Being.
