As if the tasks were done in a flowing, cloud-like manner, Tang Qi’s gaze then fell onto a new curiosity in his hand.
Unexpectedly, it was a bottle of Secret dicine.
Contained in a transparent glaze bottle, the liquid was a ghostly blue.
[Curios: Love Secret dicine.]
[Quality: Excellent.]
[Information Fragnt One: A special curiosity from the Dark Plain, imbued with the extraordinary power of the bizarre Corrosive Love Fish. The user only needs to infuse their desires of love into the Secret dicine and give it to any living being to consu; it will accept all the desires related to love conveyed by the user.]
[Information Fragnt Two: It has a limiting effect boundary, with a one hundred percent chance for those below Legendary Level, certain chances of immunity for Legendary Level beings, and complete immunity for Demigods.]
[Information Fragnt Three: Its shelf life has certain limits, from several hours up until the consur’s death, all with certain probabilities.]
...
Holding the Secret dicine in his hand, Tang Qi had a weird expression.
That previous "Existence Mask" had already made Tang Qi realize how bizarre and queer the curios dropped after death in the Dark Plain really were.
Now, it was even more astonishing.
Such a disgusting monster, yet it dropped such a curiosity?
Tang Qi just began to think about the logic behind this, but then gave up after considering it a bit; anything is possible on the Mysterious Side.
However, the Love Secret dicine in his hand reminded Tang Qi of Sally.
Previously, in Winston Town, Sally had acquired a recipe for "rada’s True Love Potion" from a "Tree Demon"; to so extent, it was similar to the Love Secret dicine in hand, yet the efficacy was worlds apart.
He very much doubted that Esralda herself was a perpetual single woman who had never been in love.
This, Tang Qi and Eva discovered from inappropriate cartoons for minors found in her principal’s office, which was proof enough.
"Uh, this thing needs to be hidden well."
Several thoughts crossed his mind before Tang Qi noticed that Amanda, transford into a "Silent Beast," unknowingly appeared by his side and nonchalantly threw the Secret dicine into her gluttonous belly.
"Let’s go!"
With those words, they continued on their way.
...
In the dense, cold mist, a bizarre scene was unfolding:
Inside a crude room, drafty from all sides, stood a luxurious dining table in the center. On the high-backed chair at the table sat a person entirely in black—his torso, limbs, head, teeth... everything was black.
Moreover, the concept of "clothing" didn’t even exist on his body.
Like a pair of shadowy hands, he held a knife and fork, and in front of him on a silver plate, walked a young man in tattered clothes with a vacant expression. As he walked, faint ghost lights flickered off him, then he turned into a nicely roasted suckling pig, dripping with golden fat.
Wobbling, it approached the plate, its fatty hand holding a carving knife, and with a "snap," a tempting piece of roast at fell off.
Almost instantly, with a "shlurp" sound, the roast at disappeared into the dark figure’s mouth.
The pig vanished soundlessly, reverting back to the young man with a vacant face, who then seed extrely weakened.
Imdiately afterwards, another person approached; this ti, a woman. As she walked, she too transford into a "roasted lamb" in the ghostly light, similarly holding a carving knife, and sliced off a lamb leg for the dark figure.
Just as the shadow, wrapped around the lamb leg, was about to bite into it.
A pair of hands, raging with fla, suddenly clenched his head, and in a mont, the shadow transford into a "Fireman," with the room and dining table gradually disappearing.
Caught in a struggle, if the Fireman was willing to let go of the "roasted lamb leg," he might still have a chance to escape.
But regrettably, he was unwilling to relinquish it.
A brilliant light flashed, and then turned into scattered black ashes.
The illusion dissipated, revealing Tang Qi, Amanda, and a man and woman lying on the ground.
Tang Qi glanced at the unfortunate man and woman caught from the outside world by the "Dark Plain," part of their desires devoured, sowhat weak and bound to suffer so aftermath, yet their lives were saved and, as usual, he put them in his belly.
Promptly, he looked at another curiosity that appeared in his hand.
Still eerie, it was a gray-white collar filled with binding and a closed-off aura.
[Curio: Desireless Collar.]
[State: Normal.]
[Information Fragnt One: A special curio from the Dark Plain, infused with the Extraordinary Power possessed by the ’greedy jackal,’ it binds any life form, depriving nearly all their greedy desires, eventually putting that life in a state of desirelessness.]
[Information Fragnt Two: It has a limit, below Legendary Level.]
[Information Fragnt Three: It also possesses a temporary uniqueness; before the dead greedy jackal is resurrected, other greedy jackals will not drop this collar, until the dead greedy jackal revives.]
Tang Qi did not continue to look at the remaining information fragnts that flashed out; pinching the collar, he examined it for a few monts and then threw it to Gluttony.
Though such a "Desireless Collar" is exceptionally rare and special in the Mysterious Side,
in the recent past, Tang Qi had already seen many.
"A collar that turns one into a salted fish cannot stir my interest anymore."
Muttering to himself in his mind, Tang Qi did not greet Amanda by his side, and directly walked forward.
Amanda, still taking the form of the Silent Beast, silently followed.
Judging by the level of tacit understanding between the two, Tang Qi observed, struck, killed demons, and saved people... this entire process was already familiar.
Inside the Dark Plain, desire manifestation almost "invincible" becos the prey Tang Qi could slaughter after discerning their "weakness."
Of course, this was also because Tang Qi had been sneak attacking and had not yet encountered a high-level manifestation recorded in the rlin Catalog.
The continuous sneak attacks didn’t just add a significant richness to Tang Qi’s "collection," but also brought other gains:
Tang Qi, serving as the "Leader," though he had complained about the guidance left by rlin being deceitful towards the "Middle School Second Year Brave."
But as the two continuously delved deeper into the plain, Tang Qi gradually realized that the seemingly unreliable thod of discerning paths seed... to be real.
As long as he believed in his mind that the path ahead was correct, the correct path would indeed appear under his feet.
The thod of traveling filled with an "occult" feel had a decent effect.
Because as ti gradually passed, Tang Qi and Amanda began to experience thin mists... dense mists... then gradually thinning... getting thinner... both realized sothing in their minds, they would soon be able to leave the Dark Plain.
Tang Qi even discovered that the originally gray-white sand and stones under his feet gradually turned black and beca fragile.
Within the mist, that bone-piercing coldness was also gradually dispersing.
Instead, a faint, burnt sll filled the air.
It was as if sothing was being scorched.
Just then, with a "crack," Tang Qi, who had just stepped and crushed a black stone, seed to realize sothing, suddenly raised his head to look into the distance.
At the end of the plain, through the gaps in the last thin mist, the all-covering black and red hues filled everything, as the "lter Wizard," Tang Qi was very familiar with what that explosive hue represented.
Just as a na was about to leap out from his mind.
Suddenly at this mont, an ice-cold breath like a flood and tsunami surged from behind them, instantly dispersing all the burnt sll and dragging both into a colder mist than any before.
Silent and noiseless, Amanda by Tang Qi’s side.
Her body transford into the Silent Beast suddenly collapsed upon itself.
A sky of plaster ears, mouths, noses fell, Amanda reappeared, a gray-white mask falling.
Tang Qi had no ti to catch it, his expression turned extrely stern, rapidly turned around, stepping in front of Amanda, his eyes "thundering" as the illusion of the Sun Furnace surged out.
He stared intently at a figure shooting towards them from the dense mist behind.
Beneath its feet seed to attach a ghostly light; one second it was far away, the next, it was already in front of Tang Qi and Amanda.
An extre sense of impending crisis fully occupied Tang Qi and Amanda’s minds.
"Run!"
Without any hesitation, Tang Qi forcefully shouted to Amanda.
And himself, standing at the forefront, with his eyes wide open, unblinking and undodging, t the gaze of the figure with a human "shell" but devoid of humanity, filled instead with icy Divinity.
