Just like most cities within the Federation and the wilderness, Green Dragon Ridge Lake was also subtly divided into two worlds due to the "Spiritual Tide Return."
The real world is a beautiful and peaceful tourist Holy Land, while the Mysterious Side has recently beco a "hot spot for Abnormality relocation."
The "sunken ship trench" at the bottom of Dragon Ridge Lake, with its multitude of shipwrecks, is ho to many Abnormalities and Extraordinary Creatures.
However, recently, so Abnormalities have had no choice but to move, particularly those with hoarding tendencies, who are even considering moving back to Saint Martin Lake.
Seen as a pest by the Abnormalities, the figure now ca into the view of Tang Qi and Eva.
On the deck of that "Vajra-class" battered warship, two figures, one large and one small, were engaged in combat; to be precise, one was teaching the other.
The one being taught was Peggy, who had been transford into a "chanical Body" by an unknown entity.
Due to energy source issues, Peggy was allowed to leave the "Isolation Zone."
However, to extend her life, Tang Qi did not remove the seals left by the Witches on her; her energy attacks, combat form, and even so terrifying transformation skills could not be used.
The only things left were the combat skills inherent to her chanical body and her transformable hands.
Now displayed in front of Tang Qi and Eva, Peggy continually transford her shimring silver chanical arms into various weapons to attack the "Abnormal Knight" wearing decayed Armor.
From the weapons Peggy transford, one could glimpse what she had been learning lately.
Modern popular sabers, daggers, or bayonets were not within her choice; instead, classical Empress’s longswords, wild pirate battle axes, or so peculiar long spears from Eternal Heaven Dynasty appeared.
With the change of weapons, her combat style also rapidly shifted.
Unfortunately, her opponent dominated in all aspects.
That three-ter-tall Knight with a burly physique demonstrated ghost-like speed under Peggy’s ferocious attack, effortlessly dodging all her attacks and nonchalantly kicking her with a light lift of his foot.
Thump!
The agile, nimble Peggy, like being hit by a bomb, was violently blown backwards, crashing into an adjacent sunken ship.
However, this kick was a "skillful force", and Peggy suffered no damage; with a push of her foot, she reappeared before Noah and others.
The Knight stepped forward, a red light flickering under that giant helt, a cold, raspy voice sounded.
"The key to combat is not how much you know..."
"Hum"
Over a dozen students, including Noah, were listening intently to the combat experience being imparted by the Abnormal Knight.
Suddenly, at this mont, the red light under the Knight’s helt intensified, and amidst a grating sound, the Knight forcefully twisted his head to look towards two figures erging from a sudden portal on the other side of the deck.
Or rather, just one of the figures.
Boom!
A storm-like shockwave burst out at this mont, stirring up the originally clear lake water with a blood-like red glow flickering within; that pair of eyes brimming with red light swiftly retracted, then burst forth, directly locking onto Tang Qi.
No words were needed; the aning was clear.
This was a challenge!
However, strangely, this challenge wasn’t very firm; the fearso red light flickered occasionally, as if within the decayed but still intact Armor, different consciousnesses were struggling.
Judging from the aura that continued to climb from the lake bed, forcing Eva and others to distance themselves, the will to challenge clearly had the upper hand.
The originally peaceful lake bed, now like a Monster rampaging, an appalling storm centered around the "sunken ship trench" ravaged in all directions, the green of the lake water completely replaced by specks of red lights, and that terrifying Two-Handed Greatsword planted on the deck now seed eager to move.
As the "Challenger", Tang Qi felt a strong threat.
His eyes surged with intense ghost light, gradually converging into a special image.
The surprising Information Fragnts exploded one after another in his mind.
[Extraordinary Creatures: Newly born Legendary Knight.]
[State: Fusing.]
[Information Fragnt One: A Legendary Knight who once shone brightly in the Dark Era, lost himself in a terrifying war, and in order to prevent his body from committing evils after falling, chose to bury himself, sinking deep into the mud of Saint Martin Lake, until after a long Ti, a special soul was swept into it.]
[Information Fragnt Two: The foreign soul gradually inherited most of the Knight’s ’inheritance’, but the erosion of Ti made his Realm fall from Legendary; unless the Sovereign soul within the husk can be Promoted back to ’Legendary’, he will never fully control this powerful husk.]
[Information Fragnt Three: Upon detecting a strong presence, the husk may instinctively challenge the strong.]
...
Many of Tang Qi’s doubts were resolved.
"This husk is indeed a Legendary Knight, and a powerful knight from the Dark Era at that; since it sank in Saint Martin Lake, perhaps so ancient records could shed more light... Interestingly, the knight himself has passed, and now controlling the husk is a foreign soul."
"Seizing the body for rebirth!"
Several familiar terms surfaced in Tang Qi’s mind.
