Tang Qi didn’t hesitate too long and, for the first ti, stepped past Thorp towards the white, ghostly table and chair in front.

Obviously, he recognized that the identity of secret detective claid by Tang Qi was fake because even a detective, even a Demigod Level detective, could never receive an active invitation for mbership registration from All Things Can Be Sold, let alone be given a discount.
According to Thorp’s knowledge, anyone who gets such treatnt is absolutely a “Big Shot” even within the boundless mystery, and the great and wise Thorp suspects he has been played.
The mysterious rchant, appearing as a Death God ssenger, unchanged intrinsically, upon hearing Thorp’s demand, without any calculation, leisurely said:
“No problem, Mr. Thorp.”
“According to the principle of equivalent exchange, and considering your past commonly used currency and exchange items, you can choose to pay one hundred thousand ‘Special Souls’, or serve us for ten years.”
“What? This is extortion.”
Thorp, just on the chair, directly jumped onto the table, dog paw almost pointing at the rchant to scold.
Then, he quickly realized, before the rchant could respond, he waved his paw and interjected: “Yes, yes, I know, you never deceive.”
The price given by the mysterious rchant undoubtedly far exceeded Thorp’s psychological expectation. Naturally, he could afford it, but rely to satisfy a bit of curiosity with such a big cost is not sothing the wise Thorp would do.
“But… I’m even more curious now.”

Tang Qi, unaware that Thorp is inquiring about his identity, wouldn’t mind even if he knew.
He approached the ghostly white table and chair, and the mont he sat down, he felt a kind of augnting power that seed to make any life sitting on the chair beco calr and wiser.
At the sa ti, he also discovered that the galaxy filling the room seed to really exist. A small-looking teor passed by him, but he could clearly see it was a strangely shaped planet dragging flas, crashing into the depths of the starry sky… On a not-distant slowly rotating planet, signs of life activity even appeared.

When the rchant ntioned the first option, Tang Qi didn’t react much, but the second option made him raise his eyebrows involuntarily.
He pondered for a mont and had so speculation that the Hidden Knowledge exceeding the value of that information might be secrets related to the Mysterious Monarch. Only Tang Qi knew about the boundless mystery, how to reunite those Big Octopuses, and how to make the Mysterious Monarch return once again.
However, Tang Qi obviously wouldn’t exchange this knowledge, shaking his head to signal the rchant to continue.
Seeing this, the Mysterious rchant showed no emotional fluctuation, continuing:
“Thirdly, you can exchange so Divine Authorities, and we determine you possess various authorities exceeding the value of this information, and we are still willing to cover the difference.”

The variety of options it provided sowhat exceeded Tang Qi’s expectations.
The first few options were not considered by Tang Qi at all, like selling his authorities or exchanging Hidden Knowledge.
He quickly dismissed the fourth option after brief consideration, as he didn’t have a year to waste here.
But the fifth option made Tang Qi sowhat tempted, especially if he agreed to beco a mber, there’s a discount.
