Capítulo 1067: Chapter 30: Multiple Choices

(ps: There’s more updates… asking for monthly tickets, it’s a great deal during the double period, I really need them.)

Whether seen from the outside or within, All Things Can Be Sold exudes a mysterious and powerful aura.

However, this aura is easily disrupted by this promotional tone.

Nonetheless, after listening, Death God Thorp’s wrinkled face imdiately showed surprise, and he raised his head, a pair of dog-like eyes full of astonishnt, muttering to himself: “Why does this guy get a discount just for signing up as a mber? This is preferential treatnt, what’s so special about this guy…”

As he spoke, Thorp obviously realized sothing, and his voice gradually lowered.

He couldn’t help but glance at Tang Qi, unable to see through him, and lowered his head again, but was not resigned, quickly glancing up again, showing signs of wanting to do sothing, but after weighing the consequences, he gave up.

Tang Qi, however, ignored Thorp’s inner conflict. It wasn’t hard to tell from the mysterious rchant’s words that so of Tang Qi’s identity was already exposed.

At least the rchant could see that Tang Qi was not an ordinary Transcendent, nor a re Divine follower.

At this mont, Tang Qi’s gains were minimal.

His All-Knowing ability, which he hadn’t turned off, still couldn’t see through everything.

“Extraordinary Creatures: Mysterious rchant, an unimaginably ancient and mysterious lifeform, seems to be in a peculiar state that allows it to not fear the attacks of most ‘All Spirits’, to be precise, it is immune to almost all attack damage within the boundless mystery.”

“It has no offensive capabilities; its sole hobby is trading; it yearns to trade with you… cannot be parsed.”

Although a seemingly ample amount of information flowed through his mind, it wasn’t hard to judge that this information was all unguarded by the other party.

The true secrets cannot be parsed by All-Knowing.

At least in this stage, All-Knowing can’t penetrate through.

Tang Qi didn’t hesitate too long and, for the first ti, stepped past Thorp towards the white, ghostly table and chair in front.

At the sa mont, Thorp was isolated in place, then instantly transported to another room. In front of him appeared a similar white table and chair, and another mysterious rchant was waiting, only this one wore a black robe.

Amidst frustration and confusion, Thorp suddenly had a light in his eyes, his wrinkled skin swayed as he ran towards the mysterious rchant.

The room’s scene, along with his thoughts, turned dark and cold, identical to the Death God Kingdom he loves to be in, and the rchant without any resistance turned into a certain “Death God ssenger” appearance.

Thorp leaped onto the chair, directly saying:

“Quick, I want to purchase detailed information on that guy, actually daring to deceive the great Thorp, I must reveal his true face.”

Obviously, he recognized that the identity of secret detective claid by Tang Qi was fake because even a detective, even a Demigod Level detective, could never receive an active invitation for mbership registration from All Things Can Be Sold, let alone be given a discount.

According to Thorp’s knowledge, anyone who gets such treatnt is absolutely a “Big Shot” even within the boundless mystery, and the great and wise Thorp suspects he has been played.

The mysterious rchant, appearing as a Death God ssenger, unchanged intrinsically, upon hearing Thorp’s demand, without any calculation, leisurely said:

“No problem, Mr. Thorp.”

“According to the principle of equivalent exchange, and considering your past commonly used currency and exchange items, you can choose to pay one hundred thousand ‘Special Souls’, or serve us for ten years.”

“What? This is extortion.”

Thorp, just on the chair, directly jumped onto the table, dog paw almost pointing at the rchant to scold.

Then, he quickly realized, before the rchant could respond, he waved his paw and interjected: “Yes, yes, I know, you never deceive.”

The price given by the mysterious rchant undoubtedly far exceeded Thorp’s psychological expectation. Naturally, he could afford it, but rely to satisfy a bit of curiosity with such a big cost is not sothing the wise Thorp would do.

“But… I’m even more curious now.”

Thorp sat down, scratching his chin, unable to bear his curiosity.

Suddenly, it seems he thought of a roundabout way, showing a smile, quickly saying: “Change it then, tell , what are the relationships between that guy and the Lord of Thorns, the Mysterious Monarch, the Destiny Bitch, the Molten Furnace Master, Light… forget it, just the first three, what’s their relationship respectively?”

Originally intending to spout all the All Spirits’ breaths he perceived, but seeing the rchant’s eyes getting brighter, Thorp wisely shut his mouth.

The rchant also seed a bit disappointed but dutifully replied:

“You need to pay three thousand Special Souls, or serve us…”

“Pay the souls!”

“Alright, the intelligence you want to know: the guest is friends with both the Lord of Thorns and the Mysterious Monarch, and is an enemy of ‘Lady of Destiny’, but he seems to have so weakness held by the Lady of Destiny… do you wish to know about their ongoing struggles, this intelligence can be discounted.”

“No, I don’t want to know.”

Very quickly, Thorp shook his head, his tongue licked the mysterious rchant’s face.

“Are you kidding? I, Thorp, am great and wise, how could I possibly get involved in such high-level war?”

“Damn, I seem to have cursed that guy many tis, stupid two-legged beast and such, does he hold grudges?”

“This information is offered for free. According to past records, those who had conflicts with that guest seed to have t terrible ends, though he seems to have a favorable view of the Death God Camp.”

“Ha, whether he has a favorable view or not doesn’t matter, Lord Thorp will not be afraid.”

Tang Qi, unaware that Thorp is inquiring about his identity, wouldn’t mind even if he knew.

He approached the ghostly white table and chair, and the mont he sat down, he felt a kind of augnting power that seed to make any life sitting on the chair beco calr and wiser.

At the sa ti, he also discovered that the galaxy filling the room seed to really exist. A small-looking teor passed by him, but he could clearly see it was a strangely shaped planet dragging flas, crashing into the depths of the starry sky… On a not-distant slowly rotating planet, signs of life activity even appeared.

A wonderful feeling arose within Tang Qi, as if he could easily grab that planet to play with.

The Mysterious rchant seed especially patient, taking the initiative to explain.

Even questions that Tang Qi hadn’t expressed out loud, the rchant addressed them as well.

“Everything in this room is to serve the guests. We hope every guest can trade with us filled with wisdom.”

“You can freely change everything here, any scene you imagine can beco reality, as long as it brings you joy, that’s our duty.”

“Would you like to beco our registered mber?”

It must be said, the tone of the Mysterious rchant was very sincere.

Tang Qi was completely at a loss for words to refuse, yet he didn’t bother with those details.

Without hesitating or beating around the bush, he asked directly, “Do you know what I want to buy?”

There was a trace of surprise in Tang Qi’s tone.

Even though the Mysterious rchant seed completely non-aggressive, if they could even peek into his mind, it would be terrifying.

Still in the purple robe, the Mysterious rchant whose appearance Tang Qi hadn’t changed, continued in a voice that people couldn’t distinguish the species:

“Yes, the item you want is information related to the ‘Lord of Hatred, Desolation, and Enslavent,’ including His divine authority, current state, and the location where He is imprisoned, how to enter, and so on.”

“You don’t need to worry about us spying on you; this is actually our innate ability. Every guest entering the Magic Cube wants to sell or buy certain goods, and we always know in advance, but only limited to these… Please believe us, all things can be sold, but we never deceive.”

“So, what’s the price for this information?”

Tang Qi didn’t follow up but instead asked directly about the price.

This ti, the Mysterious rchant fell into a relatively long silence, seemingly calculating.

After saying “Please wait a mont,” several seconds passed, and a voice ca again from beneath the purple robe.

“Dear guest, according to our assessnt, we now provide you with the following options.”

“Firstly, you can purchase with sufficient valuable Divine Artifacts, and we judge you have enough of them.”

“Secondly, you can exchange with equally valuable information, and we judge you know several pieces of similar Hidden Knowledge, so of which even surpass the value of the information you want to buy, and we can make up the difference.”

When the rchant ntioned the first option, Tang Qi didn’t react much, but the second option made him raise his eyebrows involuntarily.

He pondered for a mont and had so speculation that the Hidden Knowledge exceeding the value of that information might be secrets related to the Mysterious Monarch. Only Tang Qi knew about the boundless mystery, how to reunite those Big Octopuses, and how to make the Mysterious Monarch return once again.

However, Tang Qi obviously wouldn’t exchange this knowledge, shaking his head to signal the rchant to continue.

Seeing this, the Mysterious rchant showed no emotional fluctuation, continuing:

“Thirdly, you can exchange so Divine Authorities, and we determine you possess various authorities exceeding the value of this information, and we are still willing to cover the difference.”

“Fourthly, you can serve us for a year as an equivalent exchange.”

“Fifthly, you can accept our commission, completing three tasks of equivalent value for us. This condition can be experienced first, which ans we accept your credit, first providing the information and settling the related accounts later. If you are willing to register as a mber, the number of tasks can be reduced to two, still payable on credit.”

As the Mysterious rchant continued without intending to stop, Tang Qi felt the considerate service here.

The variety of options it provided sowhat exceeded Tang Qi’s expectations.

The first few options were not considered by Tang Qi at all, like selling his authorities or exchanging Hidden Knowledge.

He quickly dismissed the fourth option after brief consideration, as he didn’t have a year to waste here.

But the fifth option made Tang Qi sowhat tempted, especially if he agreed to beco a mber, there’s a discount.
