"Good friends, I have always been that enthusiastic, friendly Big Octopus. Although I don't have much ti left, the friendship between us hasn't changed."
"We are both distinct individuals and unique. We are gods, and you are our only friend through the long years. Becoming our good friend carries risks, which is why others who perceive the secret choose not to communicate with us."
"Give it a try, these are what I love dearly. I highly recomnd these 'Chaotic Chocolate Beans'; their flavor is extraordinarily rich."
As the voices sounded, in Tang Qi's subconsciously opened palm, colorful spheres fell one by one.
He glanced at them and couldn't help but laugh and cry at the sa ti.
[Curios: Chaotic Chocolate Beans.]
[Quality: Supre.]
[Information Fragnt One: Extraordinary Food made from the eye of the Divine 'Chaotic Monster,' possessing an extrely rich flavor. Consuming just one grants a hint of 'Chaotic Divinity.' If one can maintain themselves from falling into degradation, they can possess extraordinary abilities that distort and disrupt reality.]
[Information Fragnt Two: This is one of the favorite snacks of both the Monarch Octopuses and the Mysterious Monarch.]
While browsing, Tang Qi picked up a particularly unique Chocolate Bean and placed it in his mouth.
Just as said by the big fellows, the sphere had an exceedingly rich taste, dissolving instantly, bursting waves of sensation that bombarded Tang Qi's mind.
As a Pseudo Sovereign, he should have long lost such sensations. On the Mysterious Side, no delicious food could cause fluctuations in his mind.
But now, there was an exception.
Other Sovereigns within the boundless mystery probably have no such interest.
Even the Weak Gods would not, as those who have ascended to beco 'All Spirits' target even higher levels, dreaming of eternity.
Once more, Tang Qi vaguely understood the difference between the Mysterious Monarch and the 'Sovereigns.'
He casually picked up a toy wrapped in tentacles, an Exotic Realm-styled chanical typewriter that even cos with a screen, continuously making "click-clack" sounds as countless novels, poems, and fables flowed across the screen.
So parts docunted, flattered the daily lives of the Monarch Octopuses.
The rest were all-encompassing, even containing many incomprehensible gibberish.
"Curios: Mysterious Typewriter, an object born for the Mysterious Monarch that cannot be destroyed until the last Monarch Octopus dies, recording everything, creating everything..."
As fragnts flowed, the typewriter seed to know Tang Qi was watching it.
On the screen, a line in Federation General Language along with emojis representing humility, hands on hips, pride, etc., appeared.
"Hello, I am a mature typewriter. I have already learned to write on my own. Do you need to compose a poem for you, or a novel, any version is fine."
"..."
Tang Qi was sowhat speechless, inexplicably inspired from deep within his mind.
He stared at the still flickering, rather silly and cute blue orbs, tentatively asking: "Good friends, did you initiate the self-splitting?"
As soon as the words fell, the eyes of the Blue Big Octopus flashed more frequently. It suddenly beca extrely happy and joyful, waving its tentacles and causing the Fool's Ship to keep swaying.
As Radiance poured down, it answered: "Indeed, in this boundless mystery, only the master of the Fool's Ship, the wise, universally loving Sage, can understand ... Congratulations, good friends, you have unraveled one of the greatest secrets in the boundless mystery."
With its voice, the typewriter displayed a line of text accompanied by brilliant fireworks.
Before he could ask the next question, despite having little ti left, the Big Octopus proceeded with the answer most extravagantly.
"Good friends, I have lived too long. You know how boring this World is—so-called War, Divine Authority, Eternity... nothing can stop from being drowsy."
At a certain mont, I suddenly had an idea: What if I split myself, becoming nurous distinct individuals, splitting again and again, becoming Shattered, Reborn... having different mories, different Souls, then, when these individuals rge again, am I still myself? Or is it a new Mysterious Monarch?"
Tang Qi originally wanted to say, "Good friends, you are quite bored," but after hearing the answer, he suddenly froze, recognizing that within lies a secret he cannot see through, at least for now.
"So, good friends, do you have an answer?"
"No!"
"Can you reverse this process, stop Splitting?"
Tang Qi posed this question, but he had already seen the answer before; just when the Octopuses opened up about themselves to him. He simply wondered if there might be another option.
But regrettably, the answer had not changed.
"I cannot, my friends. In about ten seconds, I will Split again, Shatter again, embark on the journey again."
"Good friends, are you feeling sad, why?"
"Though the mory regarding good friends will be erased, in ten seconds the Monarch Octopuses will no longer know you, my long-ago setting will remain unchanged. The Big Octopuses and the Sages on the Fool's Ship will forever be good friends... If you wish to et again, just find a Monarch Octopus and have it call out the spell."
The conclusion from the Mysterious Monarch sounds quite pleasant.
Yet, Tang Qi's expression remained far from relaxed. He shook his head and refused:
"You know, I can't do that. From the first unification and Rebirth onward, each subsequent one will degrade your position, forming a certain degree of 'slow extermination.' If done too many tis, you will be completely wiped out, from the past, present, future... on the tiline and conceptually, irreversible eradication."
"However, unification and Rebirth are very fun, aren't they? The World finally gains so interest."
In response, the Blue Big Octopus pointed at the diligently typing mature typewriter.
Tang Qi did not speak. He could not yet comprehend the thoughts of this good friend. Indeed, he lost a good friend; in a few seconds, the Monarch Octopuses will reappear, scattered across the billion Cosmic Dinsions. Each will no longer know him; related mories will be deleted.
Wearing a Crown and playing rrily on the Fool's Ship, the Mysterious Monarch conveyed only Joy, as if Ti was aningless to it.
A second, or a few seconds, equated to billions of years, ant the sa to it.
Until a certain mont, it suddenly paused, with cold tentacles curling, reaching towards its head and the Crown seemingly composed of endless Stars, brimming with boundless mystery.
Its voice resounded in Tang Qi's mind.
"Good friends, before parting, I want to give you a gift."
As the voice erged, Tang Qi suddenly felt a sensation of heat on the back of his hand, left by the mark from the Destiny Bitch.
The abstract lady, with an everlasting mocking smile, the endless Black Deer Antlers, those intricate and perpetual threads of destiny... Everything turned vibrant as if ready to activate at the next mont, summoning Tang Qi into the so-called ga of the Fate Goddess.
But soon, a Crown descended.
"The 'Governor' of Destiny has always been dull, this one... according to your Species' frequent saying, that Bitch is even duller than its predecessor."
"I believe it impossible for her to fool a wise Sage owning the Fool's Ship, but if reducing good friends' worries makes happy."
"Squee squee."
It sounded as if a branding iron had landed on the back of a hand, yet there was no accompanying Pain.
In Tang Qi's eyes erged the scene: upon those endlessly stretching Black Deer Antlers, a Crown symbol carrying vast Great Power settled, little by little, causing the abstract lady's head to slowly lower in respect.
The corresponding Information Fragnt at once stread in Tang Qi's mind.
"... your Destiny has been interfered with, unknown turbulence appearing... you have attained a certain degree of autonomy..."
