Chapter 493: Chapter 467: The Writer
"Unknown number of Alien Species Mature Bodies!"
Upon seeing this information fragnt, Tang Qi’s mind imdiately conjured up so imagery.
He was surrounded by an endless amount of rich fuel, then overwheld; in an era ravaged by lter Wizards, many of the predecessors lost their lives in this way, fuel may be good, but greed will surely lead to disaster.
The so-called mature bodies, undoubtedly refer to the state of the Alien Species that devoured Numba.
At this ti, he was certain that the Alien Species inside Numba was one that had escaped from the unknown space.
"The escaped Alien Species, in order to save its kind, doesn’t attempt to break the Sealing, but seeks several baffling Inheritors... No, perhaps the eight of us are the key to breaking the Sealing, aning, there indeed exists a prophecy providing eight Inheritors."
"However, the prophecy left by the Ancient Maya, will surely not be about saving, but is definitely about completely annihilating the Alien Species. Is Numba planning to create chaos in the process?"
As Tang Qi delved into his thoughts, the rest did the sa.
The six survivors all wore a contemplative expression, staring at the glowing red ring of footprints and the converging Magic Array.
That was a Magic Transmission Array!
It’s dangerous, but it might be the way out!
Two definite thoughts erged.
Even so, no one made a move. In the Mysterious Side, anything associated with relics, Sealings, and Magic Arrays is generally perilous—death follows; any careful Transcendent wouldn’t rashly act in such a situation.
Those harboring "ghosts" within also remained still.
Making a move at this mont would undoubtedly invite joint attacks from the others; invisible rules bound the six of them.
Just as Tang Qi guessed how long the "ghost" hidden among the six could endure, a terrible upheaval erupted outside the hall.
Unknown when it started, rustling footsteps began converging.
The group could clearly hear shadows, glowing under phosphorescent bacteria, indistinctly approaching. So moved slowly while others displayed unimaginable speed, and in monts, nurous monsters appeared outside the hall door.
Among them, so were particularly familiar to Tang Qi and his companions.
Like the "Brain Eater," or that mutated three-headed Poison Dragon, crowding at the entrance of the hall, yet due to so invisible force, none of the monsters broke through.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A chilling, numbing tide of malice surged wave after wave like a breached flood, emanating from the bodies of the "mutant monsters" and inundating towards the six of them. The intangible malice was like bone-chillingly cold water, making the magic power inside the six feel like freezing stiff.
*Crack!*
A sudden strange noise.
At the entrance, the massive mutated Poison Dragon seed to be forcibly squeezed by the monsters behind it, causing one of its heads to be pushed into the hall.
Imdiately, a force beyond resistance sliced down.
Then, with a "pop," the head of the Poison Dragon fell to the ground, rolling a few tis, turning into a stark white skeleton and quickly falling down as powder.
Horror from an ancient power, targeting only mutant monsters but ineffective against human Transcendents?
As the six formulated this guess...
The monsters outside the hall each revealed an excited, restless look in their eyes. Like prisoners confined for a long ti receiving news of release, or like extrely thirsty travelers who sight a spring ahead, they saw a dangerous yet irresistible "hope."
A fleeting fragnt crossed the bottom of Tang Qi’s eyes.
"The weakening Ancient God Power... driven by so unknowable breath, all mutants within the Goddess’ Womb are rioting, they will soon deplete the Ancient God Power."
The startling information made Tang Qi’s eyes twitch violently.
He was stronger than the other five and the truths he discerned were even more astonishing.
"Are all the mutants in the Goddess’ Womb becoming stronger, or is the unknown number of Alien Species Mature Bodies more fearso?"
Tang Qi rely weighed for a mont before making a decision.
He chose to trust his instincts and a prophecy, not the one left by the Ancient Maya but the result of the divination given to him by Mrs. Taoles before he departed.
It was also at this mont, due to the ergence of "hope," that the monsters grew even more agitated.
The mutants at the back even ignored the suppressive pressure of levels, forcibly squeezing the front-end three-headed Poison Dragon directly into the hall.
Under the gaze of the six, the remaining two heads of the Poison Dragon were forcibly chopped off, followed by its body, bit by bit, turning to powder like a burning paper effigy, all the way down to its tail, the length of a thumb.
It gently landed, sared with filthy blood, rolling a few tis wrapped in dust.
All the monsters let out a "whoosh" sound, simultaneously gazing with indifferent, horrifying eyes at the still flesh-bearing tail tip.
Then, at the sa mont, they raised their heads, looking towards the six.
In that instant, an unimaginable Great Horror completely took over their minds.
*Thump! Thump! Thump!*
His heart began to beat wildly.
Even Timothy, who always maintained a poker face, had cold sweat forming on his forehead.
"Let’s go!"
Tang Qi didn’t delay any longer. His body turned into a phantom and appeared in front of the first pillar, then followed the sequence of footprints at an extrely high speed.
As soon as he moved, the other five were montarily stunned before they quickly followed suit.
Like six phantoms being pulled apart, they completed the task in the blink of an eye.
Boom!
In the center of the hall, red light burst forth like blood, instantly sketching twisted and abstract lines, ancient Magic symbols. A red column of light slowly ford into a Transmission Array, and a sinister roar sounded at this mont.
The first Monster, a tall woman wearing a black dress and having four legs but skeletal-thin, murmured in an unknown language as she rushed into the hall. The power of the Ancient God swept across, rely tearing her black dress. Indescribable images assaulted the ntal state of the six individuals.
This prompted them to almost synchronously step into the Transmission Array.
Watching as the tall woman split open her mouth full of sharp teeth, she lunged towards the Array. Her sharp hand pierced through the red light, almost touching Tang Qi’s face.
And then with a "buzzing" sound, her hand and all six of them vanished within the hall.
...
Snap!
Before Tang Qi and the others had ti to feel the nausea brought by the intense teleportation, they saw a claw-like skinny hand fall. The cut on the hand was not only incredibly smooth but also showed signs of crystallization; a strange aura began to seep into the entire hand.
Intermittent ghost light leaked from it.
Because it was cut by the power of an Ancient God and not eradicated, was it turning into a "Curiosity"? Tang Qi made this judgent, then shifted his eyes away. It might be quite a remarkable Curiosity, but the transformation needed ti, and it looked too nauseating to interest him.
He slowly turned around, holding a "dicine Box" in his hand which extended a red tongue and devoured the nauseating severed hand.
Although it indiscriminately devoured at and was repulsed into waving its big tongue several tis, it soon revealed a smile exclusive to a "money-grubber."
Completely oblivious, like Reina Swinton and the others, at this mont, Tang Qi was entirely captivated by the surroundings.
He originally thought he would be directly teleported to the "nest" of the Evil Seed.
Before standing still, he was even prepared to flip the table, whether it was Diana’s thods or his own Molten Furnace Wizard’s techniques, and the two Sun rits were itching to act. If he fell into a situation that even Diana couldn’t handle, Tang Qi would decisively summon the "Master of the Crucible" projection.
It would be a huge waste not to seek help from such a powerful ally at a ti of crisis aboard this black ship of Molten Furnace Wizards.
Mysterious Side know-how told Tang Qi that the owner of the "Black Ship" he was on was extrely powerful.
On Origin Blue Star, the history concerning the Divine had been imnsely long, even predating the Age of Ignorance, with Divine beings having existed since then. Over ti, Divine beings continuously erged from various regions, each with different nas and powers. No one could count exactly how many Divine beings had been born, or had existed.
Hence, humanity started to collectively call these Divine beings as All Spirits Above Mystery!
The Divine was part of All Spirits, but All Spirits were not limited to just the Divine.
Inside the Divine Assembly, any being whose na included the word "Master" was by default considered an extraordinary God.
For instance... the Lord of Light!
Tang Qi didn’t dare to hope that the "Master of the Crucible," the owner of the black ship, had a stature thicker than the Lord of Light, but he believed that summoning it should suffice to handle a group of Evil Seeds from the Exotic Realm.
His trump card had been fernting for a long ti, but at the mont, there was no opportunity to put it into play.
Evil Seed?
No, there was nothing at all in front of him.
The six of them found themselves in another "Passage".
However, it was vastly different from the countless channels within the Goddess’ Womb.
Tang Qi’s gaze fell on the high walls on both far sides, composed entirely of mottled stone blocks, above which were the dense, soul-reaching Divine Radiance; vermillion was used to outline large murals.
It seed like they had arrived at the true "Divine Passage".
This towering, ancient Divine Passage extended deep into itself, towards the end where there seed to exist so incredible "Obstacle" that even Divine Radiance couldn’t illuminate.
An unimaginable Great Horror emanated from the end, penetrating the Radiance and directly affecting the souls of the six, but was quickly dispersed by the omnipresent Divine Radiance. Bearing a misty purple glow, warm and majestic, it brought a peace of mind akin to a mother’s embrace.
Tang Qi’s gaze focused on the first mural.
A completely new art technique, vastly different from that of Wisdom God Kels or Sersi, but even more captivating.
Uncovered Information Fragnts poured into Tang Qi’s mind at this mont.
"A mural protected by powerful Divine Power... The creator also holds the Moon God Position in both the Maya Divine System and the Aztecan Divine System, a Goddess, the mother of Sersi, Bamor, the only Outer God Maiya."
"Thunderous boom!"
Once again, Tang Qi could not maintain his composed expression.
