Chapter 360: Chapter 350 Guardian Spirit
“Jile Club?”
Professor Eva looked behind Tang Qi with a face full of amazent, the gradually disappearing portal revealing a terrifying scene.
Apart from the survivors Tang Qi had deceived and thrown out using the Illusion Spell, the other beautiful bodies had all turned into lting, disgusting fat. Anyone remaining in the underground structure would likely be suffocated by the odor.
Everyone on the Mysterious Side of Secret Phoenix City knew of Jile Club’s reputation.
Skin Bag Monster!
A type of Extraordinary Creature similar to Transforming Monster; they had almost perfectly integrated into human society. Their true forms were piles of foul-slling, wriggling fat, but they were imnsely attracted to attractive humans, thus choosing them as their prey.
Attack, devour, and then replace, enjoying the life of the dead.
Their numbers were vast, with abilities unseen by ordinary Transcendents. They were also vengeful and often changed their gathering spots. Additionally, they generally changed their prey only once every decade, making them the “chicken ribs” in the Mysterious Side.
Ordinary Transcendents or forces could do nothing about them.
And the Ancient Castle Bureau and Church, due to manpower issues, couldn’t attend to these disgusting but relatively harmless characters.
Unexpectedly, they all ended up dead at Tang Qi’s hands.
Seeing Eva and the Coleman couple look over, Tang Qi activated a Magic Array, setting the exit at Dragon Heart Castle Upper District, and casually said, “After all, I’ve just arrived in Secret Phoenix City. I’ll be exploring around these few days to get familiar with this place and anwhile remove so disgusting dirtiness, so I won’t scare my students later.”
“Phew”
As Tang Qi’s voice fell, it wasn’t just magical brilliance that spilled out, but also the spark in Eva’s, the Coleman couple’s, and young Lily’s eyes.
…
Nightti, Library Tower, fourth-floor ditation Room.
“Enhance Red effect!”
In the nihility of the deep, facing a grand Furnace Projection, Tang Qi directly initiated his thought.
A day’s achievent!
Through the offerings of a nest of Radiation Monsters, Mutated rmaids, nurous Skin Bag Monsters… these selfless Monster’s contributions, Tang Qi’s Golden Furnace ditation advanced rapidly across a stage, nearly reaching the next.
Perhaps just one more nest of Monster souls, or maybe a Resentful Demon, and Tang Qi could continue to advance his Judgent to Fourth Rank.
Now, both Judgent and Red effects had advanced to the third stage.
“Phew”
In a thought, Tang Qi’s eyes.
First ignited an endless blaze of golden Light Flas, then an extre red mingled with Light Flas filled his vision.
Both types of brilliance seed as if they could trickle out, as if they could directly apply their effects deep within a target’s mind without needing eyes to gaze upon.
Of course, this was an illusion; for now, eyes were still needed to execute the effects.
Perhaps in the future, after reaching extre enhancents, magical changes might occur.
Having experienced the power of both effects, Tang Qi stood up, his body vanished from the spot, reappearing when.
Buzz!
The light from the White Lighthouse instantly fell on him.
Review, approved.
In Tang Qi’s eyes, every Stone Pillar and white building atop them appeared one by one.
Among them, one that had been vacant now had an occupant.
It was Lily. In the evening, Tang Qi hastily checked the girl to confirm that her condition had stabilized inside her. After observing in the Isolation Zone for a few days, she could soon join the higher-grade children in class.
To so extent, this tomboy-like girl should be the “Monster Child” who entered the Isolation Zone fastest and would leave it the fastest.
Shay and the Hannahs were still not ready.
The forr still required observation for several cycles, whereas the latter needed Tang Qi to find a way to restore their forms.
Though the Lolitas were very obedient, if ten “Charcoal Lolitas” appeared in class, the effect would definitely be shocking.
Tang Qi’s visit was not for the three girls, but for other “Sources of Danger.”
Now, including Lily, there were eleven Level 5 Sources of Danger.
Tang Qi now chose the fourth.
The scene facing Shay and the Hannahs was completely different; before him, was a very real cottage.
Illusion, auditory hallucination, or malice?
None of these.
Tang Qi glanced at the naplate, with naive yet neat handwriting.
Nidya!
A flash of realization passed through Tang Qi’s mind as he stepped forward and knocked on the door.
“Click”
Exactly on the third knock, the cottage door opened.
A little girl appeared to struggle slightly to move her hand away from the lock; her back was to a ticulously slow-moving “chanical Maid.”
All Sources of Danger were entitled to a “chanical Puppet Assistant,” including the freshly moved-in Lily.
“Hello!”
The little girl, hugging a long-eared rabbit plushie, curiously gazed at Tang Qi, preempting the maid from opening the door.
Behind her, everything inside the house looked very clean and tidy, with everything placed impeccably. There was not a bit of ssiness. If it weren’t for the many childish items, it would resemble the room of soone with OCD.
“Hello, Nidya. I’m the new Principal, you can call
Mr. Principal or Mr. Tang.”
As he spoke, Tang Qi extended a hand.
Nidya, perhaps not having]> engaged in such etiquettes for a long ti and with hauntingly terrible mories lingering in her mind, subconsciously showed fear and aversion in her eyes before Tang Qi transmitted a thought to the little girl.
The thought was simple, to release goodwill while expressing that he is very powerful, just as powerful as Esralda.
If she could touch Esralda, then she could touch him.
Soon, relief softened her eyes, and then a soft little hand rested in Tang Qi’s palm.
“Mr. Principal, my na is Nidya!”
“Welco to your visit!”
After speaking, the little girl, like a little lady, bowed slightly and opened the door to let Tang Qi in.
It must be said, the scene before him was completely different from what he had imagined.
He originally thought that a little girl who harbored uncontrollable terrifying power, being locked in the “Isolation Zone” for so long, would definitely beco radical and hard to communicate with, even if she didn’t develop psychological issues.
Now, being politely invited into the house and after sitting down, Nidya skillfully brewed a warm drink and brought it over.
In a trance, Tang Qi felt as though he was facing a well-educated lady.
Without further delay, Tang Qi released his special ability.
Concentrating, his gaze fell on the little girl.
At this mont, the little girl was carefully placing the hot drink in front of Tang Qi, and simultaneously said, “Mr. Principal, please enjoy…”
“Boom!”
A fierce ghost light surged from the depths of Tang Qi’s eyes.
At the sa ti, a terrifying and ice-cold malice swept over.
Tang Qi’s gaze locked with another gaze.
The source of the gaze was a woman.
A woman with long black hair, dressed in blue, wearing so kind of unknown style of horned head-dress, her face covered with bizarre makeup, lips painted black, her eyes emitting blue light, she already looked at Tang Qi with a scrutinizing gaze.
As Tang Qi looked over, their gazes t, and they simultaneously beca aware of each other’s presence.
The intensity of the malice skyrocketed in an instant.
At this mont, a special scene ford in Tang Qi’s mind.
[Extraordinary Creatures: Guardian Spirit.]
[State: Normal.]
[Information Fragnt One: Essentially a transcendent being from the Exotic Realm called “Netherworld Banshee”, who entered Origin Blue Star due to an accident and, for unknown reasons, chose to transform into Nidya’s Guardian Spirit.]
[Information Fragnt Two: Any creature attempting to harm Nidya will be attacked by her, but she cannot attack anyone who ans no harm to Nidya.]
[Information Fragnt Three: Her power will continue to rise with the return of the Spiritual Tide… the limit is unknown!]
…
The mystery that had troubled Esralda for a long ti now clearly erged in Tang Qi’s mind.
Why Nidya, a lovely little girl, possessed such terrifying power she couldn’t control herself.
The answer was unexpected.
But now, it seed very reasonable.
Tang Qi could feel that the “Netherworld Banshee” floating behind Nidya now saw him as a threat, and if not for the restrictions, they would probably have started fighting by now.
To prevent Nidya from noticing, Tang Qi quietly shifted his scrutinizing gaze away.
The malice still lingered.
But in Tang Qi’s mind, a thought directly erged.
A gentle smile appeared on his face as he began talking to Nidya with an attitude of equality.
anwhile, Tang Qi divided a part of his attention and transmitted his thoughts into the heart of the Netherworld Banshee.
From the student roster, Nidya’s issues seed more severe than Shay and Hannahs’, but the special scene just now made Tang Qi reconsider this view.
A wise and powerful Guardian Spirit!
While this might seem troubleso to others,
To Tang Qi, it ant that the issue within Nidya no longer needed to worry him.
What Tang Qi had to do was very simple, to form a contract trade, fulfilling the Guardian Spirit’s wishes while also binding her actions.
The “terrible” part about Nidya was the uncontrollability of that power.
Especially one particularity, that when Nidya harbors negative emotions, the Guardian Spirit would indiscriminately wipe out any creature within ten ters, regardless of whether they were the instigators or innocent bystanders.
Without this particularity, Nidya’s danger level could be directly reduced by two levels.
The thought Tang Qi sent was the contents of a deal:
Sign a mutually agreed contract, where the school Tang Qi governs would go all out to protect Nidya’s life and her growth as compensation, the Guardian Spirit, acting as the Netherworld Banshee, must temporarily give up her malevolent killing, and can only act if Nidya’s life is truly in danger.
There were other clauses, but this was the main intent.
The contract would cause Nidya to temporarily lose her “power” until she could beco aware of the Guardian Spirit’s existence herself and use her power appropriately for her smooth developnt.
A very, very reasonable contract, Tang Qi didn’t think Nidya’s “Guardian Spirit” would reject it.
Thought transmitted, Tang Qi waited for the response while continuing to converse with Nidya.
During the conversation, Tang Qi could feel it.
Nidya was a very sensible little girl, perhaps even more mature in mind than Shay, but being confined within this Isolation Zone was very detrintal to her growth, and with the intensified Spiritual Tide, Tang Qi didn’t believe that rely having a Netherworld Banshee as a Guardian Spirit was enough for her to survive in the Mysterious Side.
The Banshee also realized this.
But she didn’t imdiately agree to Tang Qi and instead communicated another thought back.
“Wait another day, I need to temporarily say goodbye to her, in the form of a dream.”
“Okay!”
Without hesitation, Tang Qi agreed.
