Ever since Fuyang lost contact with that alien commander, it didn't take a genius to guess that their star system was as good as lost. The only thing he missed was the dazzling display of blade intent put on by Ye Liuyun and his two companions.

Right now, all Fuyang could think about was how to corner Ye Liuyun and force a decisive battle.

To Fuyang, Ye Liuyun was downright slippery—never giving him the slightest opening. After each skirmish here, the man would vanish and reappear sowhere else, never lingering in one direction for long.

From then on, in every battle, either Ye Liuyun or one of his clones would wield their blade and charge at the forefront alongside Ye Tiandao, while the other stayed back to oversee the battlefield.

Ye Liuyun had noticed that ever since his blade intent had advanced, his combat prowess against the aliens had skyrocketed. A single slash from him now forced even Dominator-level-eight warriors to summon the full defensive power of their spatial realms—otherwise, they wouldn't dare take the hit head-on. Even Dominator-level-nine opponents struggled to withstand his strikes.

"This blade intent is unbelievably potent," he mused. "It lets challenge Dominator-level-eight aliens across three whole realms!"

Still, Ye Liuyun knew his blade intent only gave him the upper hand if he struck first. If a Dominator-level-eight alien attacked him first, he'd still have to rely on his spatial realm's power to survive.

Lately, he'd encountered this scenario often. To prepare, he'd even replenished several sources of primordial energy in his spatial realm, ensuring its strength wouldn't wane from overuse.

anwhile, Ye Tiandao's blade-shaped core had also advanced by a full realm after her blade intent improved. Now at Dominator-level-six, her slashes carried even more devastating force than Ye Liuyun's.

The others—humans and beasts alike—had also been honing their skills through relentless battles. A'Xing's blade intent, in particular, had seen rapid improvent recently. The Vermilion Bird focused solely on refining its true essence during fights, no longer absorbing the aliens' spectral energy, and its foundation grew ever more solid.

Spurred on by their progress, Liang Xue, Wu Qingcheng, and the others pushed their limits through frenzied combat.

As for Thunderclap and the Dragon Maiden? They were battle junkies to begin with, always fighting until they collapsed from exhaustion before retreating to rest.

The Demon Vine and the Demon-Sealing Stele continued to grow stronger as well. The demon armies frequently joined the fray to gather resources, and the Broken Horn Army, maintaining a force of five hundred thousand, steadily weeded out the weak, growing ever more formidable.

When Fuyang received reports of their progress, he realized just how quickly they were advancing.

"This can't go on," he thought grimly. "If they keep growing stronger, it'll only get worse. Looks like I'll have to take a risk."

He began plotting his next move.

First, he gathered ten powerful beings from other races who already possessed vast inner worlds. He pooled resources to expand their spatial realms, enabling each to accommodate fifty thousand troops.

Then, he had other warriors with moderately sized inner worlds take in additional fighters, eventually shrinking the entire force down to just twenty-one individuals—a number that satisfied him.

This way, transporting all their elite warriors and five hundred thousand troops to the battlefield via the altar would be far more manageable. It also gave him the confidence to take the risk, imdiately teleporting over the mont he received Ye Liuyun's ssage.

As for the rest of the army, they would have to wait until the vanguard secured the altar before slowly reinforcing them through subsequent teleportations.

This ti, Ye Liuyun had scouted out a smaller star system occupied by the alien race—only thirteen planets, perfectly matching their numbers. Each powerful ally would assault one altar, while his doppelganger and the Violet Kylin would handle another. He, along with the Demon Vine and the Demon-Suppressing Stele, would take on one more. It should have been effortless.

Moreover, with the Demon Vine and the Stele by his side, he could afford to move a little slower. If Fuyang dared to send reinforcents, he could intercept and eliminate them.

But he never expected—this ti, his calculations were off.

Everything proceeded as before, with each assigned team striking their respective planets simultaneously. However, this ti, with fewer alien defenders stationed there, the Demon-Suppressing Stele and the Demon Vine ended up competing for prey, montarily distracted from their primary target—the altar. Seeing so few enemies, Ye Liuyun didn't pay it much mind.

Just as he let his guard down, Fuyang received the distress signal. With the alien-controlled star systems dwindling, Fuyang had already anticipated which few might co under Ye Liuyun's attack.

The mont the alert ca, he imdiately summoned all twenty-one of his elite warriors and teleported them over in one go.

anwhile, the alien commander stationed there unleashed over fifty more warriors from its inner world, deliberately baiting the Demon-Suppressing Stele and the Demon Vine into a frenzy—all part of Fuyang's plan to slow Ye Liuyun's assault on the altar.

When Ye Liuyun saw the enemy commander releasing more fighters, he sensed the stalling tactic. Rushing forward, he cut down several aliens himself while urging the Demon-Suppressing Stele and the Demon Vine to focus on destroying the altar.

But they were already too late.

A ripple in space pulsed through the air—and in that instant, Ye Liuyun caught sight of Fuyang's massive ram horns erging from the teleportation glow.

"Damn it, it's a trap! Destroy the altar—now!"

Realization struck him like lightning. He had been careless. If Fuyang himself was leading the charge, the enemy numbers would be overwhelming. The portal had to be shut down imdiately—or more would keep pouring through.

The Demon-Sealing Stele and the Demon Vine knew they had ssed up. The stele threw all its power into blocking the alien forces, allowing the vine to lash out at the altar.

Just as Fuyang was being teleported in, the Demon Vine's tendrils struck, smashing several key points of the altar's entrance and exit. The structure began to crumble and collapse.

But it was already too late. Fuyang and the twenty-one aliens had already burst free. Worse, before Fuyang had even fully erged, it unleashed five thousand elite alien warriors and an army of fifty thousand from its spatial realm.

Ye Liuyun didn't have ti to think. He imdiately activated his temporal power, freezing ti, then launched a soul attack against the alien elites.

He couldn't discern what each of them carried in their spatial realms, so his only option was to capture as many as possible before they could release more forces.

As for Fuyang, Ye Liuyun wasn't taking any chances. He planned to use the last remnants of frozen ti to obliterate it with a blast of white light.

But what he didn't expect was that as he was branding the aliens with slave seals, two souls—one massive, one rely enormous—erupted from Fuyang's consciousness and lunged straight for his own mind.

The shock nearly paralyzed him. The smaller of the two souls was still larger than his own, while the bigger one lood like a titan.

And that wasn't all—Fuyang's souls could move freely despite the frozen ti, launching an attack that caught Ye Liuyun completely off guard.

"Nothing strange about it," the Book Demon chid in, noticing Ye Liuyun's stunned hesitation. "Its soul power dwarfs yours. Your temporal control isn't strong enough to restrain it. Quit gawking and fight!"

Snapping back to reality, Ye Liuyun realized now wasn't the ti for questions.
