She felt a bone-chilling coldness throughout her body, thinking that while it was acceptable for a person to be shaless, this level of shalessness was simply too much!

No one had ever seen soone run off to another’s ho to spend New Year’s, but he was the first.

At that mont, Lin Xiang ca out of the kitchen carrying three cups of tea, steaming hot.

"Everyone, please sit down! Don’t just stand there. Our family isn’t that formal. Just make yourself at ho," Lin Xiang called out to them.

Feng Ye and Xiao Feng silently glanced at the dignified man sitting on the sofa; he really did treat this place as his own. Without any hesitation, he sat down on the sofa like he owned the place, making everyone in the room sowhat tense.

If he really stayed for the New Year, it seed that everyone in the Lin Family would feel uncomfortable.

They both found seats on the sofa and were intrigued by the crystal-clear green color of the tea in the cups.

Taking a sip, they imdiately felt their minds relax and their spirits refreshed; it seed they had tasted this tea sowhere before.

He stared at his cup for a long while but couldn’t rember, then looked up at Xiao Chen, "Master Chen, this tea tastes so familiar. It seems I’ve drunk it sowhere before."

Xiao Chen’s fingers were interlocked, showcasing his slender, well-defined knuckles. As he leaned forward, Yun Yue could feel the sofa sink beneath them, and her body slid down slightly, bringing her a few centiters closer to him, intensifying the sll of his steady tobacco mixed with sandalwood scent.

She breathed a bit faster, unable to resist taking a few deeper breaths before shifting slightly to the side.

Whether intentional or not, he could easily reach the teacup with a stretch of his hand but chose to stand up; upon sitting back down, he was even closer to her, their arms tightly pressed against each other.

He lightly sipped the tea, and a peculiar look flickered through his dark, deep eyes. This tea, produced only twice a year, could relieve headaches and treat palpitations. A year ago, he had spent a large sum to buy a pound for his mother, and he heard that the other pound was bought by a mysterious buyer.

Having tasted the tea before, he was familiar with its flavor, which was identical to this one.

His gaze naturally fell on Lin Xiang. The Lin Group was just a high-end company in Lan City, and this tea, coming from the Beijing Tea House, was incredibly expensive.

"Aunt, this tea is so delicious. Where did you buy it?" he asked, his voice deep and magnetic, his features dignified and elegant, his usual cold deanor slightly softened in front of Lin Xiang.

"This tea was a gift from Yueyue. She said it could cure headaches. And you know what? It really works wonders. I brew a cup every day and my episodes have decreased," Lin Xiang marveled, having tasted many fine teas before, but never one that could cure ailnts.

Feng Ye blurted out, "I rember now! Isn’t this that extrely expensive tea from the Ming Tea House? A million per pound?!"

Lin Xiang’s eyes widened in shock. A small can of tea for a million? Impossible.

Everyone’s gaze turned to Yun Yue, waiting to see what she would say.

"It’s just ordinary tea, a gift from a friend," Yun Yue shrugged, her deanor genuine.

The tea was indeed a gift, and she had even shared so with Ruan Yingtong and Mo Fan. As for its price, she was unaware. Nothing in Beijing was cheap.

"A gift from a friend? Is your friend perhaps the owner of the Ming Tea House?" Feng Ye pondered, touching his shiny earring. Knowing the owner of the Ming Tea House was no small matter.

The kid seed utterly fascinated. He was eager to peel back her layers and see just how many more secrets she held.

"If you say so," Yun Yue lifted her chin slightly, then continued to play on her phone.

[Xiao Chen ca to your house?! No way, and you served him my tea?!] Lou Ting couldn’t believe it.

He wondered why he hadn’t seen him around Beijing in recent months; it turns out he had gone to Lan City. The fact that those two could et—was it an even match or was one slightly superior?

The more she thought about it, the more excited Yueyue beca. "Tell , how did you two et?!"

One was extrely handso, and the other extrely beautiful; both were smart. Any child they’d have would undoubtedly be both smart and good-looking.

"It was a chance eting at a bar; he took ho, later we t at a hotel where I charged him a hefty al, and afterward, he started working as a psychology teacher at First Middle School."

Yun Yue was concise, but in reality, she hadn’t had much contact with Xiao Chen, especially not in these last two or three months where conversations had been rare.

"He’s not the kind of warm-hearted person to take you ho, let alone let you charge him for a al, and run off to First Middle School to be a psychology teacher out of nowhere?!" Lou Ting was utterly shocked. The Crown Prince of Beijing was known for his ruthless tactics, feared by many; how had he acted so out of character with her?!

Not simple.

There was definitely a plan.

"Could he be interested in you?" Lou Ting felt it was very likely. Yun Yue was beautiful and always carried an unyieldable air about her. For a man like Xiao Chen, who had a strong desire to dominate, it seed not impossible.

Yun Yue’s fingertips trembled as she glanced at the restrained, noble, and chilly man beside her. "I’m only 17, how could that be possible!"

Lou Ting snickered, "I’ll sit back and enjoy the show."

"By the way, be careful when you et him, and never look him in the eyes. He’s studied psychology and is a master of hypnotism. He can hypnotize anyone if he wants to."

This was what he had heard, with soone having witnessed Xiao Chen using hypnotism before. That person had spilled all their secrets, waking up with no mory of the event.

Yun Yue stared at the ssage before setting her phone down. She had been wondering why Lin Xiang allowed the man in after just two minutes out; if he knew hypnotism, that completely made sense, suddenly making him seem very frightening.

She turned off her phone and then lightly sipped her tea, her brow furrowed in deep thought.

"Aunt Xiang, did you invite them here for the New Year?"

Her gaze was sharp as it landed on the person next to her, her lips curved in a dangerous, quasi-smiling smile.

"I did say that, but they ntioned they’d just co to deliver so New Year goods and would leave after a short stay."

"I have to return to Beijing this afternoon, my mom is waiting for to celebrate New Year’s, I was just teasing you," Xiao Chen murmured, his lips barely moving. He could clearly feel the coldness in her eyes from the mont she had turned off her phone.

He wasn’t sure whom she was chatting with, but his intuition told him it involved him.

Yun Yue’s expression finally softened a bit. Standing up, she put on her coat and headed outside, "Then let’s leave now; it’ll be harder to drive once it gets dark and slippery, I’ll personally see you out."

Feng Ye and the others struggled to hold back their laughter, having never seen soone so eager to send them off. Usually, when visiting others, everyone would warmly try to make them stay, but she was quick and disdainful in her dismissal.

Xiao Chen stood up, buttoning up his suit and discreetly snapped his fingers. Yun Yue watched his actions, her gaze flickering darkly.

She asked Lin Xiang to stay inside while she personally saw them off.

"Don’t ever use hypnotism on anyone close to , or you’ll bear the consequences." Yun Yue’s eyes carried a full warning. She disliked the feeling, as if she were stripped stark naked in front of him.

"Understood. You must reply to the ssages I send, eat and sleep on ti, and eat more at. Why have you lost more weight? Hmm?" He looked down at her, now aware she knew about his hypnotism. His gaze rested on her pale, emaciated face, reduced to re skin.

Lin Xuanze’s face had rounded out, feeling that the at he’d sent had been eaten by him instead?!

Seeing that he agreed, Yun Yue’s hostility and vigilance eased. Irritated, she said, "Understood, thanks for the New Year gifts, you and those two can get out now."
