The guardians of Yuntian Star were summoned back, though their hearts were filled with confusion.

After all, they faced imnse pressure at their respective posts, and leaving would pose great risks, possibly leading to the fall of the defended areas.

Yet the reputation of the Elders Council still held weight, and they dared not openly defy them.

So, unless a guardian was truly unable to leave, all others returned.

The purpose of the Elders Council left them with many guesses.

They only knew it must be sothing very important.

But even with ntal preparation, upon hearing the Great Elder’s words, they couldn’t react imdiately.

After a long while, a guardian spoke: "Great Elder, what did you say?"

Clearly, he simply couldn’t believe it.

The appearance of evil spirits was brief, yet left a deep impression on them.

Difficult to defeat.

Impossible to kill, they could only be sealed, and even sealing relied on the spirits’ own abilities.

In the early years, there was hope to eliminate evil spirits, and so are still tirelessly researching.

But in reality, no one holds out hope for eliminating evil spirits anymore.

The best expectation is to seal all evil spirits and return to normalcy on the surface.

Yet, what the Great Elder spoke of was "complete eradication."

In etings, so things should not be spoken casually.

If the Great Elder says "complete eradication," then it must be complete eradication.

"Yes, Great Elder, this is no joke."

"Great Elder, could there have been a breakthrough in research? We’ve received no news."

For a mont, the eting room beca a bit chaotic.

The Great Elder looked at the restless guardians, not saying much, as such a reaction was within the Elders Council’s expectations.

In fact, even they were half skeptical.

But the Great Elder thought of that mysterious force, knowing that, regardless of disbelief, he had to continue speaking. After the guardians cald down a bit, he tapped the eting table: "Quiet!"

The Great Elder was indeed the acknowledged strongest force of Yuntian Star.

With high prestige, instantly, all the guardians quieted down.

Seeing this, the Great Elder continued: "I know you’re puzzled, but the thod is genuine, offering certain assurance."

A guardian caught an incongruity in the Great Elder’s words:

"Great Elder, you ntioned ’certain assurance,’ so does that an the Elders Council can’t confirm 100% either?"

The guardians quickly cald down.

"Indeed, Great Elder, surely you’re not unsure of the thod’s success rate too?"

"If success isn’t guaranteed, the risks should be considerable; are you hoping for us to experint?"

The eting room atmosphere turned chaotic again.

"Silence!"

The Great Elder quieted everyone, then continued: "Certain assurance is rely a more cautious phrasing; truthfully, whether or not this thod succeeds, we won’t have to worry about evil spirits afterward."

Others might be unclear, but the Elders Council understood well that mysterious force, capable even of reviving people.

Resolving grievances is rely a trifle.

Of course, such remarks only left the guardians more perplexed.

Unfortunately, the Great Elder didn’t intend to reveal more, rely stating firmly: "You’re not here to choose but to execute."

To confront evil spirits present worldwide, the Elders Council wielded significant power.

To so extent, they could act independently.

However, such power was rarely exercised.

Once exercised, it promised significant consequences, possibly impacting the world’s fate.

The guardians exchanged glances.

Though still filled with doubt, ultimately soone spoke: "Great Elder, what exactly is this thod?"

No matter the case, they had to inquire about the thod.

The Great Elder didn’t waste words, directly taking out several Jade Tokens, then under the guardians’ puzzled gazes, he picked them up and said: "We’ve obtained a Secret Technique; through this technique, we can suppress evil spirits, transcend them, allowing complete disappearance. This Secret Technique is what you all must learn."

"Great Elder, regardless of what the Secret Technique is, even if it exists, how long will we need to learn it? A thod to eliminate evil spirits hardly seems like sothing to learn quickly." Soone imdiately questioned. "And Great Elder, what are those Jade Tokens in your hand, what are their functions?"

The Great Elder regarded the questioner with so satisfaction; with queries raised, there was less need for him to explain too much, so he stated directly: "Relax, the issue of short-term learning has been addressed, thanks to the Jade Tokens. Using them, you can imdiately acquire the Secret Technique. As for others, you’ll have to teach them slowly; this will be one of the guardians’ future responsibilities."

The Great Elder’s words caused a stir.

They never imagined a Jade Token could imdiately impart the Secret Technique.

They imdiately thought of certain special evil spirits capable of such feats.

Note that evil spirit abilities should not be overused, or there’s a risk of assimilation.

The Great Elder seed aware of this, quickly added: "Rest assured, this ability won’t affect you; it’s not an evil spirit’s ability."

With a signal from the Great Elder, staff quickly distributed the Jade Tokens, each guardian had one placed on their desk.

"Place the Jade Token on your forehead to directly receive the Secret Technique; everyone, use it now!"

The Great Elder didn’t intend for anyone to take them away; they had to be used here.
