Soon, Valery ca down from the hotel and saw Jay.

With a smile on her face, she waved at him and walked towards him with brisk steps.

"Hi, Jay. Did you wait long?"

"No, I just got here when I ssaged you."

As he replied, Jay looked at Valery with curious eyes.

At this ti, Valery is wearing a light yellow sundress paired with a white sandal.

It looks simple but it really highlights her features such as he white skin and slim figure.

Adding to her blonde hair, she looks cheerful while still remaining very lady-like.

So, Jay can’t help but open his mouth and complint her.

"You look very beautiful, Valery."

Imdiately, a wide smile blood on Valery’s face.

"Really?! Thank you! You look really handso as well right now!"

After exchanging so good words, Valery noticed the things that Jay is carrying.

"What are those things in your hands, Jay?"

"Oh, this? It’s the things we’ll use for our picnic. That includes food, of course!"

"Wow, you’re really prepared!"

"Hehe, I just bought what I thought we’ll need. Anyway, shall we go now?"

"Um!"

Jay and Valery walked side by side while chatting about so things.

At the sa ti, Jay told Valery about their destination.

The Boardwalk.

Olongapo City is a city that is situated near the coast. It was once a major naval base of an allied foreign country of Pearl Country.

Anyway, being near the coast, there are a lot of beaches in Olongapo City.

A lot of people usually hang out around there and their main destination is the Boardwalk most of the ti.

That is because it was a clean place where you can view the sea and feel the cool breeze from the surroundings.

It was a perfect place to go on dates for so new couples.

After learning about it, Valery started to beco excited.

The Royal Hotel is actually located not far from the Boardwalk but it will just take so ti to walk there.

Jay suggested that they should book a ride to get there but Valery disagreed.

In her words, just taking a walk like this is also a comfort and relaxation on its own.

Because of that, the two of them headed to Boardwalk on foot.

...

20 minutes later.

After so leisurely walk, the two finally arrived at their destination.

"Wow, it’s really good here!"

Valery’s eyes imdiately focused on the sea and the sound of the waves reached her ears.

The sand, the palm trees, and the blue sea water not that far away. The combination of all of these makes for a really relaxing atmosphere.

Jay’s eyes also turned to the sea and he felt his body imdiately relax.

In all honesty, Jay could only get to relax again this ti after such a long ti.

Before, he was either busy with his studies or he was working. The pressure from all directions was there, not giving him ti to relax.

That is the normal life of a working student like him.

It was only after he activated the Cube did he finally manage to get so breathing room.

After only receiving money from the Cube did pressure burdening him alleviated.

So, it’s truly been months or maybe even years since Jay had the ti to just relax like this.

’It’s really great to have money.’ He thought.

The two of them made their way to the sand where so concrete table and bench could be seen.

"Let’s go and take a seat over there."

Valery picked the table around the middle of the area. With tall coconut trees around, the atmosphere feels great.

Taking a seat, Jay placed the things on his hands on the bench first and took sothing out.

It was a red and white checkered tablecloth.

Looking at Valery, Jay smiled and said,

"On so movies and tv shows, they always wear this kind of cloth when on a picnic, right?"

"So, I bought this to complete the mood."

Then, Jay placed the tablecloth smoothly before putting all the other things on top.

Taking them out from the paper bags, the snacks that Jay bought were soon cleanly set down on the table.

"Done! All the food is here!"

Valery looked at the table with bright eyes.

What Jay brought this ti are cake, ice cream, chips, and a couple of drinks.

Of course, he also brought so paper plates, disposal spoons, and cups to use.

Seeing all these, Valery felt excitent.

But realizing that there’s a lot of food, she started worrying that it’ll go to waste.

"Jay, didn’t you buy a bit too much? It’s just the two of us."

However, Jay just shook his head and confidently said,

"No, don’t worry. I’m actually a good eater."

Valery could only accept that explanation.

Next, Jay set up his phone near the end of the table to capture him and Valery with the sea as the background.

He wants to take a video of this mont, not just to post it to his social dia, but also for the sake of keeping so mories.

Finally, the two of them relaxed on their seats.

The two of them are sitting in front of each other with the table in between them.

At this ti, they turned their eyes to the sea and looked at the sun above.

It is already 4PM at this ti and the horizon already has a tint of orange.

There are quite a few people at the Boardwalk at this ti. So of them are families, so are couples, and there are also individuals who are just by themselves.

So kids are running on the sand, playing tag with smiles on their faces.

The overall sight will just ease all your worries and let you breathe out all the turbid air accumulating inside you.

Leading her back on the bench, Valery turned her eyes to Jay and said,

"You know, Jay, I’m really glad I visited you this ti."

Hearing that, Jay also turned his attention towards her.

"Hmm? And why is that?"
