To lose her completely and not having a chance to rectify his mistakes, this was Mu Jianyu's biggest regret in life. His short term ambition and blindness had overshadowed the treasure he had in front of him, it cost him Ying's life.
How foolish he'd been. He couldn't imagine the pain his wife was in during her last monts. Was she thinking about him? Was she regretting being with him?
A year had already passed since the accident took place, yet, Li Chuntao was only telling him about it now.

Li Chuntao's tears ceased. She sniffed and wiped her cheeks dry.
"Don't make it sound like it's all about you. If you still don't know, you aren't the center of the universe. Why should we tell you about her death? So you can rip her wealth and spend it on your mistress? Isn't it enough that she'd lost her life because of Lin irong? You want snatch away her inheritance as well?"
"Goddamn it, Li Chuntao! Do you really think I loved your sister because of her money?!" Mu Jianyu yelled back at her.
Was this what Li Chuntao had always thought of him? Didn't she know that the reason he was with Ying was because she was the only woman who didn't look down on him when he didn't have anything to be proud of? Li Xiuying was the only person who believed that he could be successful soday.
How could Li Chuntao accuse him like this? She had no idea what kind of relationship he and Ying had before they got married. He was truly in love with her, until he lost himself from his own inferiority complex.
"If you truly loved her, you wouldn't have betrayed her! She was willing to move heaven and earth for your sake but what had you done?! You killed her heart, you killed her love. You were everything for her and I let you marry her because I thought you loved her!"
Li Chuntao couldn't really help but bla him. None of this would have happened if he'd used the right head and kept it in his pants. His affair shouldn't have cost Ying's life… her baby's life.
Just when Mu Jianyu thought that he'd received the final blow, she dropped another bomb that made him wish he would drop dead at that mont.
"Do you know what else is more tragic? She wasn't the only one who died in that accident! The baby in her womb had died in the impact. Your baby… her baby didn't even have the chance to be born and live!"
Baby? Ying was pregnant with their child during her accident?

Mu Jianyu pulled himself back on his feet with a pained expression on his face and turned his back to his sister-in-law.
"You don't need to forgive , Li Chuntao. I don't deserve it… I don't deserve your sister's love. But you… you deserve to be happy, so free yourself and go ho. I'll bear all the pain and consequences for her death."
Unlike him, Li Chuntao had soone back at ho waiting for her return. Li Chuntao still had a life to live and a child to raise. Of course, he was mad at her for deceiving him, but what else could he say when he was the one who caused her pain?
After saying those words, Mu Jianyu left Li Chuntao at the lake and drove back to the city.. However, after ten minutes of driving, he pulled over on the side of the road and punched the steering wheel several tis as he cried his heart out, finally realizing that he'd lost the only woman he loved in his whole life.
