Limits Chapter 45

Very early in the morning I tried to gain access to the mansion again. I failed because they security was too tight. I could dispose of one or two guards but that would alert the other. The partoling guards were seen by everyone so If I took them out, all guards would notice sothing. If I took out a guard at one of the doors leading inside the mansion, the patrolling guards would notice that.

The only solution to that was to kill all the guards but that would no longer be stealthy. I would have to wait until wedding as gaining access to the mansion was impossible, with my skills at least and without killing everything I see.

There would be a large celebration so the whole village would co to witness it. What I needed to get to was the party. I could easily kill a guest and get an invitation but I could be recognised by Rand and others. I needed to infiltrate the people who prepared all the stuff.

The main mansion was off limits but there were other houses located in the area that belonged to the village's chief. There was a house for servants to live in as well as kitchen, stables and training grounds. The other areas were not heavily guarded or guarded at all.

I wanted to sneak inside the kitchen and do what I had to do there, then I would be able to proceed with my plan. I wouldn't of course poison everything, in hope that the newly weds would eat or drink so of it. I had a different plan.

I needed to assu the role of a servant and work in the kitchen. It was easier said than done but if I were there only for that occasion, no one would suspect . If I tried to do it now, who would believe that I'm the new cook or waiter?

Because the wedding would be in two days ti, I had so ti to prepare. I made sure no one spotted and mostly copied the air of other people. I went into the inn and rented the cheapest room. It costed 10 coppers for 2 days and I would have to pay for the als additionally.

At my room, I practiced my skills, mostly in the art of hidden weapons. I wanted to be able to retrieve and hold more knives at once and be able to throw them. Nick showed a trick on how I could do this. He said that my initial idea of having nimble fingers is good but I also needed to learn how to store and retrieve my daggers efficiently. I mostly hid my daggers up my sleeves but he said my whole body is a hiding place and that is the true aning of hidden in the art of hidden weapons.

My weapons could be anywhere and nowhere. I practiced retrieving and putting back my daggers into all sort of places on my body. I went like this for couple of hours and then to relax I read the Great Scriptures of Evil dic. I already rembered about 35 recipes and knew how to produce them. I had no experience yet but when all is done and Nick is gone, I would travel and naturally learn how to create poisons and dicine alike.

After two days of waiting, It was finally ti for the wedding day. I went out of the inn and could see loads of people walking towards one direction. It was the area designated for the wedding. I followed all the people as I was going to the sa place.

When I arrived at the wedding area I could see many guards standing not far away from the wedding podium while many guests were seated at the front. Other people like normal villagers would be standing far back aways from the important guests.

I mixed in with the crowd and awaited the show. The wedding day is supposedly the happiest day for man and woman involved but it would soon turn out to be their nightmare. My plan was simple, I needed to poison both Senty and this so called young master with a poison called Everlasting Dew. The best effect would be when ingested directly but if applied to wounds it could affect the target. The problem was 'it could' part of it. So there was probability. Of course the more poison is introduced to the wound the better chances there are.

I wanted this to be 100% accurate without any possibilities and therefore I needed for them to drink this poison. Adding it to the drink was my plan when the baquet took place. There I would take care of one of the servants, get his clothes and deal with the newly wed. I didn't have to worry much about security inside, as mostly the security would be outside keeping people off the mansion but otherwise it would be opened to the guests.

I waited and watched the show. It would take an hour or two but hell, I had loads of ti on my hands and I would make sure that these people could not ever consummate their marriage.

After about 30 minutes of waiting, I saw Senty and another guy coming onto the wedding platform. 'This must be the so called young master' I thought. He was handso when it ca to standards but other than that, he was a bit plump and short. After doing the vows and having the usual wedding ceremony where they would listen to the relatives and important people giving them so good wishes, the group of important people together with the newly wed would return to the mansion to celebrate.

I followed after them as I needed to get inside as well. I easily bypassed the guards due to the overall mayhem on the roads and near the mansion. I was now inside, with my poison equipped and my plan at hand. I needed to find a lone servant, which would not be hard because they moved about a lot, steal the clothes and apply the poison.

Although I would apply the poison in the mansion's kitchen, I would not be the one to deliver it, Rand and other would imdiately recognise and so I had to figure out which servant is responsible for delivering food for the pair and then use him to deliver my poison.

I watched the hall that the party was taking place at and noted any servant that would co up to the high table of the newlywed and serve them. I needed so ti to make sure I would get the proper guy but just in case, I had 2 vials of the poison. 1 would be enough to poison 4 to 5 people while I only wanted to poison 2 so I had loads of spare just in case. I also had Axion Poison with just in case as well. If I were discovered and chased after, this poison could save my life.
