As we entered the city again, I asked one last ti. "Are you sure about it?". The Golem sighed, and replied "I lived for so long… My life has lost its aning a long ti ago. This is the sa for most, if not all Golems". He looked at for a while, then continued "The Dark Traveller… It was a pleasure eting you". He then walked back to his house. I didn't stop him though, it was ultimately his choice.

I sighed. 'It seems eternity is overrated. So what if you can live forever, if you lose the aning to live?' I asked myself. All beings I encountered, cared for their lives. All except Golems. I had no clue how long Golems existed for, I had no idea how many years the oldest Golems had. Although so of them tried to cling on to life, they seed… tired of life.

I took a stop forward, and disappeared. The Yellow Dust had to be placed in a specific location. A location where the whole mountain would perish. That location was the upper parts of Varent. I headed there, and found the best spot for the explosion. I dumped all of my Yellow Dust into that spot. A small hill of Yellow Dust ford, but wasn't visible due to the location I chose. The place I dumped my Yellow Dust, was around the middle part of the whole city Varent. The explosion would engulf everything.

There was another reason for this location. I could use my bow, to ignite the Yellow Dust. I left that place, and stopped near the entrance. With a bow and an arrow in my hand, I prepared to shoot. Of course, I had to ignite the arrow, which I did with the use of my glove. I took aim, and released the arrow. I didn't wait there, and imdiately used Blink Formation to instantly appear outside of Varent. I then ran, I ran at my full speed towards the place I told Fox to wait at.

"BOOOOM!"

An explosion so loud and strong, that even the ground beneath tremored. I turned around to have a look, and witnessed the whole mountain being ripped apart. Rocks flew in all directions, which also ant mine. I dodged the falling rocks, and stared at the aftermath. "This marks the end of Golems" I said to myself. Nothing could've survived such explosion. Especially since the hot blast of air had nowhere to escape. This was the exact reason why, the whole mountain got ripped apart.

I returned to Fox shortly after. Slate was still asleep, while Fox looked into the distance. She didn't even notice approaching, her sight was at the crumbled mountain that used to be Varent. I said "It has been done". She woke up from her thoughts, and asked "I know… I know it was my choice to go with you… but are you satisfied now? Do you feel any remorse? Are you even Human?".

In truth… I didn't feel any remorse. I didn't feel guilt… It was sothing… Sothing I lost along my journey. 'Perhaps I lost my Humanity. The world I was born into, is to be blad for that. It's what Humans do, that makes one more… numb' I thought. Fox continued, "You wouldn't listen to . You wouldn't listen to anyone, that's why I didn't stop you. But I hoped you would change your mind, I was wrong. I'm leaving. Take it as you will, but I want nothing to do with you anymore. Fighting a war is one thing, destroying a whole race is another. It seems… this is not your first ti either… You chose a fitting na for yourself. The Dark Traveller. Everywhere you pass by, you leave a trail of destruction behind. I hope you are proud of yourself".

She turned around, picked Slate up, and walked slowly away. I didn't stop her, I had no right to stop anyone from making their choices. 'It seems we both regret the decision we made outside Ortava' I thought. I entered stealth, and as I passed by her, I dropped the polished stone from that Golem, and the necklace she once gave . 'Farewell Fox' I thought, and left towards Sedon.

Although Golems were no longer the problem, a war was still raging left and right. I had to return to Sedon, replenish my dicine supply and think about that spy network. I wasn't in the best of moods though. Although I didn't feel guilty, what Fox said bothered . After all, we knew each other for a long ti. 'First Lazar, now Fox. I should talk with Crow about it, maybe I'm going overboard?' I thought.

Perhaps it was because of the Arts I learned. Win at any price, that was the core teaching of any Art. No matter how hard the blow is, no matter how shaless one is. As long as this guarantees the victory, why should I be bothered about it. Everyone had different upbringing and values. I didn't have those usual values. Loss of my parents and heirloom, then a broken heart while later being enslaved. 'Their fra of mind is an illusion. They lived in an environnt that had everything in abandon. From my teenage years, I didn't have it easy' I thought.

They didn't experience life from my perspective. It was always nice to care for others, but what about oneself? When did that matter? I abandoned these thoughts, and returned to my practice.

Ti slowly slipped away. I made it past Obsidian Mountains, but didn't visit anyone. I headed straight to Sedon. This ti though, I didn't go around. I went straight towards the Dead Forest, which was supposedly filled with Mordars. 'I'm done running around playing nice. Ti to destroy our enemies' I thought. I was feeling out of sorts, as if I had a bad aftertaste in my mouth. The Dead Forest soon appeared on the horizon. I made sure I was at the top of my condition, then headed towards the forest.

A few hundred tres away from the edge of the forest, I already saw movents. Mordars were waking up from their sleep, and advancing towards . I wasn't the sa as last ti. Throughout my journey towards Sedon, I got used to my new Formations and the Power of Ice. Mordars that didn't rge, we no longer an issue to . A few Mordars made their way towards , while others stayed behind. I released the Formation in my glove and added energy. While increasing the energy output, I manipulated the fla. A short while later, a ball of fla appeared atop my palm. "Let's see how you deal with this". With a hard swing of my arm, I released the ball of fire at the group of Mordars.

"Booom! Swoosh!".

Out of the five Mordars who advanced towards , only three survived. One of the three had its branches burned a bit. But that wasn't the end. A ball of mist condensed to the point of being azure, floated carelessly atop my palm. I swung my right arm, and the ball of mist flew towards the group of Mordars. It flew at a much faster speed, compared to the past. "Shoo! Shing!". The remaining three Mordars froze solid. This improved ball of mist, had the power to create a few pillars, as well as freeze the ground.

I walked past the frozen Mordars, and they suddenly crumbled. My Aura alone was enough to shatter them into small pieces. This happened so fast, the Mordars acting as support, didn't have the ti to react to all of this. When they finally reacted, they cried out, or rather released loud shrills. 'Hmm, I think I should leave' I thought, when I saw what happened next.
