We followed Amari's instructions and ended up going to a Borana hut twice the size of the one we stayed at. There was golden lettering on the straw door that by all accounts I shouldn't understand but I sohow did.
The lettering still used the Latin alphabet rather than the Cyrillic or the complicated chicken scratches characters most of Asia uses. The text on the door was written as "Umatriarchi uZanele, unina wesizwe iSoldat."
"Matriarch Zanele, Mother of the Soldat clan," I murmured absentmindedly.
"Wow! You can read it too Darling?"
"Yeah, if I had to guess it's because of your Ascension Jo. {Interpret} is just amazing. It can turn even soone as stupid as into an omniglot. I am so thankful you are with ."

Unable to resist her adorable smiles, I took Jo in my arms and leaned in to take her lips.
"Hey Bella, why don't our {fates} improve? Why just the nutjobs? I don't feel any big changes with the {Carry} family."
"Robyn, your abilities are already broken as hell, stop trying to be even more of a cheat!"

"I think it's because of a matter of application though. Unlike our {fates}, {Interpret} cannot get better if it remains limited to hearing. So, it improved by being more encompassing. Hearing, then speech, and now reading. If I had to guess the next evolution would be writing," Bella theorized.
"That's cheating! I don't get how that would be useful but the nutjob is still a cheater!"

Hearing the girls bicker like children I shook my head wryly. They were so of the smartest people on the planet. However, when it ca to one upping each other, it devolved to the stupidest of competitions.
The guards posted outside of Zanele's hut began to speak in African. But I still understood it as English. I only noticed since the sounds they were making were not in my language, it was like listening to a dubbed ani.
"The Matriarch has not yet called for you."
'Exa, have my words translate to his language.'
[Understood, translating to Zulu. You may begin.]
"Just tell her I have arrived. She should be expecting ."
"…okay."
Normally this would have been the part where they all rave that a white guy like could speak African. But the guard said nothing and gestured to his partner on the other side of the door. The man left his post and went inside the hut.
I felt a little let down that he didn't notice my language skills.
"Hehehe, Darling got ignored."
"Bwahahaha! Possum you sound so stupid!"
"He tried his best, stop-pftt! Haha! I am sorry Anata, that was hilarious!"
"You sound like soone dunked your head underwater and they had you recite the alphabet. I guess that is the limit of Honey trying to speak a language he never heard before."
At their words even the guard couldn't help but smile. He snickered like a fucking asshole as the girls couldn't stop laughing at my pronunciation.
'Exa, were my words that bad?'

'But didn't I speak Brazilian and Japanese?'
[My lord, Portuguese is part of the Italic branch of the Indo-European language family. So they use a lot of similar sounds. Put simply, you will not have issues with any language from the sa family. As for Japanese that is due to being exposed to it through ani.]
I see. That was why Bella said, "trying to speak a language he never heard before." It was similar to trying to sing a song when you don't know the lody. You might know the words but that was it. I was {Interpret's} equivalent of a poet reading a song.
Eventually the guard who left returned and gestured for to co inside with his chin. It was blatantly obvious that he was underestimating . Probably because I was surrounded by girls and didn't put out weapons earlier.
I said nothing out of irritation and removed my shoes before going inside. Zanele's dwellings was just a undersized version of the one we lived in. It has mostly the sa hoy feel. She and a bunch of other Phantoms sat on the carpet in a circle.
When she saw , Zanele made a small bow and gestured for my party to sit. A few of the older looking Phantoms made way and gave us a spot on the west side of the circle. I didn't stand at attention and took my seat.
A quick scan showed the won Zanele tried to give were in another partition that looked like it was for servants. Before I could even comnd anything, a cute butt suddenly plopped on my legs.
The white-haired invader leaned back and stared at with cold eyes making her voice just as frigid as it gave a warning, "Possum. I will kill them all if you keep this up." I must have been insane because rather than get angry, I found Robyn's jealousy adorable.
I leaned in and kissed her. Her pout imdiately vanished and was replaced with a smug smile. Overwheld by love for my Aussie I was about to embrace her when both of my arms were pinned. It was naturally the rest of my harem.
"Darling, I want this arm for today. Give ."
"I will be taking the left, Shujin. Please excuse ."
I could barely reply when sothing soft plopped itself on my head. She wasn't heavy but Bella's scent was my natural aphrodisiac. I felt my third leg begin to stand attention; Robyn who noticed began wiggling her cute behind.
Before I could tell her to stop, Jo and Aki moved my arms and buried them into their respective cleavages. Bella then embraced my neck as she gave a halfhearted excuse to every one present.
"Oh, pardon us, we are normally like this. We are so in love after all. This man would go insane if we don't give him skin ship like this. Don't mind us and please begin your discussions."
Zanele made a wry smile as she began our eting.
"You can stop now Bella. I apologize for the misunderstanding. I and everyone in this village already know how much you love one another. We have learned our lesson. The Soldat clan will no longer force won on the Successor unless he asks for them."
