Much like before, I hardly noticed the passage of ti. Only one thing dominated my entire focus.

It was, of course, the gorgeous beauties of my harem.

Their moans and pants were my music, and their bodies were my canvas. Like an artist, I drew vivid pictures using my "brush." And like a musician, I played my "instrunts" to songs of depravity and lust. My hands, much like a sculptor's, caressed and appreciated all they had to offer.

It felt amazing. To have an army of lovers to cater to my every fetish, my every desire. No matter how lecherous, they still complied. The tyrannical dominance I could exert stroked my primal urges.

I didn't know how much ti had passed, but I hardly cared. Seeing my lovers bounce, rock, and pound their hips into mine turned fueled my lust but also turned my brain to mush. I lost all reason and just ravished my harem like a beast. My excitent made a bit rough, but they loved it.

Eventually, though, they all passed out. Right now, we are on a large bed. It is the sa bed we had in the hotel. The Sirens must have prepared it beforehand.

The room slled of fish and sweat. And like a human equivalent of a snake mating ball, the girls were all sprawled around . The one in my arms was Jo. As both her reward and incentive, she called dibs on cuddling.

I didn't really sleep at all, only the girls napped snuggled around . Jo, in particular, was in my embrace. The warmth of her soft skin felt good as her entire body pressed against mine. It made horny. Despite all the things we did, I still hadn't had enough.

Maybe noticing my little brother, Jo then sneakily caught my mber with her leg. I looked at her and she only made a mischievous smile. I felt the imnse pleasure of a release a few minutes later, while Jo's leg was covered in my jizz. I kissed her forehead.

I spoke to her using my link to avoid waking the others.

'Thank you, Jo. That felt really good.'

'Hehehe. Anything for you, Darling. And it's kinda my fault! So, it's okay!'

Despite her lively voice, Jo made a forced smile. As soone who adored her, the slight difference was enough to tell what was wrong. Worried, I pulled her closer to my chest as I asked.

'Jo, is everything all right?'

She paused for a mont before nuzzling her face into my pectorals. Though affectionate, I felt a tinge of sadness radiating from her.

'Jo? Please tell . You know I won't let it go.'

'Hehe. You really care about , don't you, Darling?'

'Of course. Because I love you very much,' I confessed.

'Hehehehe. I love you too, Darling. You and Jas are practically the only ones who really love .'

'Jo…'

My Italian shooting star then shook her head as she gazed into my eyes. Her eyes were green. aning that Vela was still out. There seed to be sothing bothering her. A few seconds passed, and Jo still said nothing.

Everyone had things that they were uneasy about. And most of the ti, forcing soone to talk was the worst thing to do. People were different. How they processed things varied even more. During such monts, just being there was enough.

Jo and I relaxed in each other's embrace for a few minutes. I felt each thump of her heart. She probably heard mine too. Reapers had extrely slow heartbeats. So slow that humans considered us corpses. As we didn't really need beating hearts. It was all an act anyway.

'Sigh. Darling?'

'Yes?'

'Am I a bad girl?'

'No.'

'…'

'…'

'Really?'

'Really.'

'Even with everything I am?' Jo asked.

'Even then.'

'…'

'…'

'…'

'Why do you ask, Darling?'

Jo pushed up her upper body. Even in the darkness, I marveled at her stunning body line and near-perfect breasts. Oblivious to my thoughts, my woman ca closer. Our faces were just centiters apart.

'Darling, I think I am broken.'

'How wonderful! I am too.'

'Darling, I an it. Bella, Lilly, and I planned most of Shattered Silence. They figured out the how, and I decided the when, what, and where.'

'I see, well done, Jo.'

'Sigh, Darling, it feels like talking to you is pointless. You love too much. I could be covered in mud, and you would still find a way to say I look pretty or sexy,' Jo said with a loud exhale.

'Well…'

'Darling, don't you think my plan was too…I dunno? Cruel? I saw it earlier. The looks of fear and disgust that the Africans gave . Even the people from Jas's unit couldn't stop themselves.'

'I am going to have to fire them tomorrow.'

Jo then frantically clung to as she giggled.

'Darling, stop. I am serious. Jas is imnsely protective of the Seraphs. Please don't do anything. But please answer truthfully. Do you think there is sothing wrong with ?'

Feeling that Jo didn't want to hear my actual thoughts about the matter, I took a step back ntally. It was extrely hard to be objective when one's loved ones were the ones being discussed. It was human nature. For people like , even more so.

'I still don't. In a matter of numbers, it may be cruel to a few, but it will be what helps more people. We are not gods; we cannot save everyone. You had an objective and acted on it. Didn't Lilly and Aki say the sa thing?'

The ones who were vocal in defending Jo's plan were the descendants. Condoning killing children and pregnant won was evil. But letting them live at the expense of generations of people was neither kind nor just. Life was just complicated.

'Darling…all this ti I thought Vela was crazy and I was sane. But with the things Zanele said about the Sin of Envy, what if it's the opposite? What if Vela is the one trying to hold back and I'm the one who is crazy? I…I am dangerous! I belong in a ntal hospital!'

I see. All this ti Jo used Vela as a shield to control her thoughts. By considering it all to be Vela's fault, she absolved herself of any responsibility. And now that Vela is gone, it has dawned on her that she was the one who had ntal issues, not the Astral.

Fear and disgust crashed into like a flood. The source was Jo's link. Unconsciously, her fingers began to dig into my skin; her revelation seed to really push her over the edge. With her final excuse exposed, Jo had to co to terms with the fact that she was crazy.

But to it didn't matter. I fell in love with Josephine Benelli. Crazy or not, she was my woman. And much like I vowed at our wedding. No matter what happens, I will never leave this woman's side. No matter what happens.

I gently held her by her chin and kissed her lips tenderly. She seed shocked at my actions. She tried to push my hands away as she began to cry.

'Darling… what if I hurt you? I shouldn't be trusted. I don't deserve you. I should just give my body to Vela; it would be safer. When she returns, I will talk to her about this. I don't mind being crazy, but what if I get you killed? I would hate myself. I-I…'

'Jo.'

At my call, Jo closed her eyes and continued to weep. I reached out and cradled her face in my palm.

'Jo.'

'…'

'Jo.'

She finally opened her eyes and looked at . Her erald eyes looked absolutely srizing against the darkness.

'Jo, you are not strong enough,' I said in all seriousness.
