The main gimmick of {Rewind} was that it treated this reality and my {Auto} as different. This was why anything that happened to this reality could simply be replaced with my {Auto}. Injuries, buffs, and expendables were removed or recreated, based on my state.

As I hamred my thoughts out, I gained a sense of enlightennt. {Rewind}'s power was not limited to going back. It also could be used to go forward. The power itself was at its core just switching between two realities!
"Fuck… Didn't I just unlock the ga-ending bug or sothing?"
Imnsely pleased with my epiphany, I called out to my {fates}.
'Masters, I want a Kist that records my action and saves it for future use. I want it to be like {Rewind} that I can summon at will. Please. Help , I need to grow stronger.'
I then felt a searing heat impale itself on my neck. Like soone took a branding iron and stabbed it down my shoulder blade. It scorched my insides. I felt like I was burning from the inside out. But sohow, considering the pain I felt in the past, this was nothing.
"Thank you," I murmured.
When the pain subsided, a felt a new skill added itself to my ability pool. One that was as powerful as my own {Fate}.
Quickly, I had {Code} bring up my status. Only for the contents to completely blow away!

What the fuck was going on? Why did I suddenly gain a malice counter? My {Kist} remained at seven. I gained three new abilities. But sohow, they were not {Fates}, {Kist}, {Programs}, or disciplines. Instead, I gained {Entropies}.
'Even my race fucking changed from a Reaper to an Arisen. What the fuck are those supposed to be?' I whined inwardly.
I couldn't help but massage my head in frustration. I called out to my trusty partner for guidance.

[I-I don't know what to say. This is the first ti I have heard of the term Arisen.]

[My lord, much of the information in the graveyard is only partially true. Despite the length of ti, the fields Academics have studied are extrely limited. Before Lady Jas acquired {Insight}, we didn't even know that the Reborn's abilities are called {Entropies}.]

[My lord, it's the ability you created for the benevol of the Sirens, {Rejuvenate}. I ntioned before that it offloads a portion of the malice to you. But that doesn't explain where the rest of the malice went. If we consider you to be among the Savages, it now makes sense.]

[Think back, my lord. It was when you tried to figure out how many rounds it took to kill a demonkin. Number 1 let slip that the Reborn call the Demonkin faction the Fiends. It referred to the zombies as Corpses while insulting Juno as your pet and part of the Savages.]
At that ti, I tried using various rounds to check if human weapons could kill Demonkin. And I had Exa record how the demonkin's flesh responded to my attacks. During the sa period, the girls used Jo's zombies and a bunch of monsters to cross-check the results.
It was how we figured out why Sacreds erase the mbers of the Corpse faction. Our combined findings explained why they were useful against Fiends but not against Savages. I tried to recall what Exa had said during that ti about them.
[Monsters also contain many cores in their bodies, but they have a main core that grows as they develop. They also seem to store a great amount of malice in their cores. It's for their next evolution and reproduction.]
"Well fuck, you an I was stocking up malice to create a core? A malice core much like a reborn? How did I even end up having one?"
[I do not know my lord. All I know is that this is uncharted territory. However, in typical fantasy worlds, monsters have magic cores. They follow the sa logic. Eastern fantasy also has the sa idea, where cultivators gather essence or soul to create manifest cores.]
"Fuck this crap, all I wanted was to vent on the pig! Now I have all this shit to deal with!"
[Well, at least you have three new abilities. The way they are used is like {Auto}, {Save}, and {Rewind}. Except rather than soul, you need to have malice instead to use them.]
"I have fewer than a thousand. Is that enough?"
[No it isn't. From what I can tell, a single use of {Record} needs at least 10,000 malice. {Pause} needs 5,000, and {Fast Forward} needs 1,000.]
"Ugh… what the fuck is even going on right now? JUUUUNOOOOOO!!!!"
At my abrupt shout, the Vithriss Nobilis with a beautiful face arrived.
"My lord, I have… you… you have beco one of us?"
'Well fuck, even she can tell in a single glance.'
"Let's worry about that later. For now, can I borrow so malice?"
Juno stepped forward with a bit of hesitation.
"I don't mind. But isn't malice harmful to Reapers? Does this an we're fired?"
"What the fuck are you saying? Of course not. And yes, I am an outlier. Do not mind . Reapers do not suddenly have such things. Anyway, give so."
The lizard woman nodded and approached ; she raised a single fingertip and placed it on my neck. Specifically my soulgem.
"As you command, my lord. Although I would advise you to hide your core inside your body. Exposing it so openly would only give you a vulnerability. How much do you need?"
"Give a hundred thousand."
If souls passing into were warm, the malice rushing to my gem was cold. However, when I felt my body grow heavier as Juno sent malice into my body, I ended up falling to my knees as I struggled.
