Ethan grinned. This was perfect. Now, he did not have to sit around and waste his ti. He could simply get out of the dungeon and leave it as incomplete.

He still had so theories to confirm, like whether the dungeon reset the next day even if it was incomplete or if the final dungeon completion ti included the buffer period when he was not there in the dungeon, and so on. But on the whole, he could see how this little loophole could save him a lot of ti.

Then there was the matter of collecting loot. Just thinking about this was giving him a headache. He did not want a repeat of the previous incident.

"Would the shopkeepers have so sort of loan system?" Ethan muttered to himself, scratching the back of his head as he stared at the growing pile of shimring loot—mana-infused bark, treant hearts, glowing sap, and a disturbingly large assortnt of high-quality wood materials. "Or do I have to drag all this crap back manually?"

He sighed, rubbing his temples. He could already picture the reaction of the other students if he showed up lugging a heap of glowing lumber and monster parts through the dungeon hall. Nope. Not doing that again. They better have a loan system.

He walked over to the vendors' section and approached the first shopkeeper. "Hi, I am a new student, and I need a spatial ring."

The shopkeeper behind the polished crystal counter was a middle-aged man with salt-and-pepper hair slicked back, and the mont Ethan spoke, the man's eyes flicked up with the speed of soone who'd heard this exact sentence a thousand tis.

"New student. Dungeon loot. No ring. Let guess—you were planning to carry it all out with your arms and a good attitude?" he asked dryly.

Ethan smiled. It seed that his status had beco clear to the guy. Only a commoner like himself would co here without any preparations. But he was not a normal commoner.

"We have a big team working together, and I am in charge of trading loot. Please, I need to move the loot of ten dungeons. If you help out, I can trade all of the loot in your shop. I only need a temporary loan. Please help out. Otherwise, everyone will be disappointed with ."

Since his status as a commoner was already out, Ethan decided to fully commit to the stereotype of a bullied commoner. He even acted as if he was trembling in fear.

The shopkeeper narrowed his eyes at Ethan, studying him with the slow precision of a man who'd seen every scam, sob story, and genuine plea in the book. For a few long seconds, he said nothing. Then, finally, he leaned back and crossed his arms, his expression shifting from suspicion to wry amusent.

"You've got guts, kid. I'll give you that." He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Ten blue portal dungeons, you say?"

"I can also run around and ask more seniors. I can trade all of their loot with you." Ethan hurriedly added. This would also give him the perfect excuse to show up with a lot of loot all of a sudden.

The shopkeeper raised a brow at that, his lips twitching as though he were trying not to laugh. "You've barely been here a day, and you're already trying to aim for the sky. It's good. You cannot survive as a commoner if you do not work hard. But make sure to be real polite to your superiors, otherwise you might get whipped."

He shook his head slowly, then reached beneath the counter and took out a spatial pouch. "I cannot front you a spatial ring. Those things go for a thousand a pop. Here, take this pouch. You can return it to later, along with a hundred gold coins."

Ethan inwardly rolled his eyes. What a bastard! He was asking for a 100% interest rate. Knowing his desperate situation, the guy had no qualms about taking advantage of it.

It was fine. Ethan did not care too much. This much gold coins would be nothing for him in a few days.

The pouch wasn't nearly as powerful as a spatial ring, but it would do the job. It had a modest storage capacity, enough to carry around the materials from a couple of blue-ranked dungeons.

The shopkeeper gave him a dry look. "Good. And rember—if you lose that pouch, I'm adding another fifty gold for the trouble." He waved Ethan off with a flick of his fingers. "Now go make rich, kid."

Ethan walked away, Shadow twining around his feet with a soft purr.

"Hey, Arlson. Aren't you ripping that kid off a little too hard?" a nearby vendor called out with a chuckle, leaning against his stall.

Arlson shrugged without an ounce of sha, polishing a gem on his counter. "Supply, demand, desperation. The three pillars of good business."

"What are you going to do if he finds out?"

"Bah. What could that little rat possibly do?"

anwhile, Ethan arrived at the treant dungeon portal and stepped inside to find that his loot was still intact. The two treants were up now and ca charging at him the mont he walked in. He used a blast of fire to deal with the first one while Shadow started clawing the second.

The last two went down in a few seconds, and the dungeon notification chid in, along with the ssage that he had added two more treants to his list.

His minions had already gathered the loot, so Ethan simply placed everything in the pouch and made his way out of the dungeon portal. He walked over to the dungeon records wall to take a look, and this ti, he definitely did not break any records.

However, his previous achievents were proudly displayed for him to see. Ethan shook his head helplessly and turned to leave when he ca across a couple of students gossiping about him or rather that mysterious genius.
