A few days passed, yet to Eclipse, Grant, Silas, Jessica, and even the blacksmith, it felt like an eternity.

Throughout those days, Silas learned that the blacksmith's na was Virack. To Silas, it sounded Viking, but to the rest, it seed like a normal na.

However, there was still one person know one knew the na of, but to them, that didn't really matter.

Eclipse's biggest secret was his real face, not his na. And even though so of the others were still a little hesitant to trust him, after talking with him for several days, Silas quickly realized that Eclipse was a trustworthy man.

Silas knew a liar when he saw one. After all, in a way, he was the biggest liar of all.

Or, at least he was on his planet. Maybe soone beat him to the chase on Gilea.

'I'm a different person now.' Silas sighed after thinking about his previous life. He was a horrible person, and he knew that. He wasn't sure if he was still a horrible person, but deep down he would have liked to think that he changed.

At the sa ti, after coming to Gilea, Silas tried to find things to bla for his actions back on Earth. Hell, even back when he was in his 7-year seclusion, he tried to do the sa. He tried to bla everyone and everything, from all his parents to the thing that thing inside of him.

However, in the end, the mont he would look down at his hands, he would rember that, despite the aid of that thing inside him...

The most horrific things he had done were while he was awake, living, and conscious.

And the worst part of it all was...

Despite hearing the screams of the people he hurt every ti he closed his eyes, he didn't feel anything.

He didn't feel remorse.

He didn't feel any guilt.

Hell, he could feel his mouth twitching as a smile tried tugging at his lips every ti he thought of so of the people he had murdered...

Murdered in cold blood.

"Are you okay?" A feminine voice entered Silas' ears, making him finally open his eyes.

He was currently laying on the stone bench inside Virack's shop.

Raising his hand into the air, he looked at it for a mont before letting out a brief and subtle smile.

'Still dripping with blood, huh.' He thought and looked at the person beside him.

There was Jessica, leaning her back on his bench and laying her head next to his.

Clearly, she was trying to rest as well. Well, the following days were going to be tiring for all of them.

Silas didn't want to go back to his room since Greed would most likely find him there. He could only imagine the horrifying things she might try on him, and if she did even try to touch him, he was worried that he'd attack her on the spot.

He was strong, but right now, he didn't have a weapon that could penetrate her armor, let alone one that could hurt her.

That was exactly what Virack was forging.

A weapon capable of hurting the likes of Greed, even with all the armor she was wearing.

Silas had already told him that he could use all the elents, and due to that information, Virack decided to create a weapon with a plain mana core embedded into it.

Of course, Virack himself didn't understand how this worked, but he had expertise when it ca to situations like these.

In the past, he worked for one of the major academies, and one of the requirents for the weapons he created was that they had to be made with a plain mana core that doesn't have an elental affinity in it.

This was for the reason that, using elental ones would exclude many of the people without the elent being used.

It was far too expensive to craft the sa weapon 4 to 5 tis with a different mana core in it, so they chose to go for the plain mana core thod instead.

"Hmm." The sound of Virack's hamr slamming against the heated tal entered Silas' ears again, but this ti, there were more...

Looking over, Silas saw sothing he never thought he'd see in his life.

There Virack was, with four extra arms coming off his torso with their hamrs slamming against the tal as well.

"It's amazing, right?" Jessica spoke again while not even looking at Silas. Her head was resting next to his arm, and for so reason, Silas felt the urge to pat her.

"Mhm." He simply replied.

He had quickly realized that the arms were made out of toki. There were white and translucent, like the color of mana, but at the sa ti-...

'Hmm. Wait, if I'm cultivating with mana, doesn't that an that my cultivation speed should be 4 tis faster than the speed of others? And if that's the case, is that why people with light affinities usually cultivate much faster than normal awakeners?' Silas thought, before looking around the room.

Grant wasn't there, but Eclipse was. Actually, this was one of the first tis he had seen Eclipse stick around for more than an hour or two, since from Greed's perspective, he was still on her side.

'No... I should test this later... For now though.'

"How long until the weapon is finished?" Silas asked when seeing Virack beginning to examine his work.

He clearly wasn't done yet, however, it felt like he was very close to being done.

Virack didn't reply imdiately, however, after a little more than minute, he finally answered.

"Only a few more hours."

"When's the execution?" Silas asked while looking at Jessica.

Despite being with him a lot of the ti, she was still Greed's right hand woman. Sure, Greed almost killed her when she sent the assassins for him, but she was still one of the closest people to her.

"The day after tomorrow. Are you sure you have enough ti to get rid of the enchantnt by then?" Jessica asked with a slightly worried tone.

She had already asked Silas why they couldn't just simply leave without Greed noticing, but Silas shut down the idea.

She didn't understand why, but there was a certain glint in his eyes that made her shiver.

"Hopefully." Silas muttered, however, Eclipse who had been trained his whole life to understand people and collect information about them, knew that Silas was currently wearing a mask.

Despite seeming worried on the outside, Eclipse saw through the mask, and what was on the other side was not worry...

It was confidence, yet even beyond that, Eclipse saw sothing else.

A single fla, the size of a candle...

Burning with the heat of a thousand suns.
