301: Chapter 200: The Little Monster’s Obsession, Pursuit of the Truth 301: Chapter 200: The Little Monster’s Obsession, Pursuit of the Truth This was the third ti Brian had encountered an individual with dual obsessions.

One shot, two impacts—it was a delightful thing.

Crushing the Obsession Little Balls.

Two pieces of information surfaced in Brian’s mind:

Alice’s Obsession One: Forever stay with father in the small garden.

Gift One: 50 points of Gift Energy

Gift Two: 30 points of Gift Energy slight Danger Perception

Gift Three: 10 points of Gift Energy ultrasonic shock perception

Alice’s Obsession Two: Remove the annoying collar around the neck.

Gift One: 60 points of Gift Energy

Gift Two: 1 point of Gift Energy Cannibalism

Gift Three: 10 points of Gift Energy Hunting Pursuit

Gift Four: 30 points of Gift Energy Terrain Adaptation

..

“These two obsessions and Gifts..”

Brian frowned slightly.

The obsessions were no problem, overly simple, giving him a sense of purity.

But the talents of the Gifts…could the nas not be more intuitive?

At that mont, Brian felt a strong impulse for his Blood Moon Gift Ability to upgrade again.

The abilities from Obsession Two completely mismatched the little girl’s displayed abilities.

That wasn’t right.

The talent for Hunting Pursuit should relate to her ability to capture scents on marks, possibly including tracking capabilities.

But ‘Cannibalism’ and ‘Terrain Adaptation’, what did these have to do with the girl’s exaggerated speed?

Terrain Adaptation might still be understandable.

This thing, depending on the situation, was worth about thirty Gift Energy units—essentially enabling the fastest speed adjustnt to diverse terrains.

This would substantially enhance speed.

But with his powerful Body Control, Supercomputer Perception, and visual capture, Brian could easily achieve this too.

And the ‘Cannibalism’ talent?

“Forget it, such a ghostly talent, even if it’s powerful, tends to cause one to lose humanity.

It’s not suitable for my path, so whatever effect it has.”

Brian shook his head and focused on the corpse’s neck.

Without the hint from the obsession, he really wouldn’t have noticed the very special, thin collar around the other’s neck.

This collar was probably as thick as a normal necklace, perfectly fit the little girl’s neck girth, difficult to remove, and had a tiny ball hanging from the front.

Combined with the dirty neck of the little girl,

that’s why Brian had not noticed before.

He reached out and tried to pull the collar.

Hundreds of pounds of force down, this collar did not budge, not even deforming.

Brian was incredulous.

He then directly, from the little girl’s deford, fragnted head, slipped off the collar.

The collar was a flesh-like color, only the little ball looked tallic, with a layer of cloud-like patterns on the surface, and an inconspicuous ‘HG’ letter, hidden at the bottom.

As the collar ca off, a warm stream flowed through Brian’s body.

The second Obsession of the little monster, easily completed.

Brian didn’t rush to claim the Gifts.

He was now more interested in this strange collar.

He carefully examined the collar all around, making sure there were no oversights, then grabbed it and with brute force, gave it a hard pull.

“Ding Ding Ding~”

In response to Brian’s force, this tal ball actually emitted a rapid alarm sound.

This seed to trigger so chanism in the ball.

Along with the rapid dinging,

an eerie sensation surged into his heart.

Without the slightest hesitation, Brian forcefully threw the collar far away.

The whole process didn’t even take a second, but it was still too late.

Boom~

A small spark exploded.

Brian watched as his right forearm broke off and disappeared, transforming into nurous flesh and blood fragnts, exploding outward.

Luckily, because the sphere was small and also flew a bit away,

aside from so dizziness and the ultrasonic shock impacting his senses, Brian suffered no additional harm.

He shook his head, feeling the pain and numbness from his arm, sowhat speechless.

Who would have thought that a ball smaller than a marble could still explode…

and the power was not small.

At least in terms of volu, the power was really substantial; if it had exploded at the neck, it would have been enough to blast a person’s head and chest cavity into smithereens.

Without Danger Perception, it just wasn’t possible.

..

The explosion caused his own flesh and bone to scatter too widely.

With no choice,

Brian, after expending a full twenty-eight units of Gift Energy to repair his vanished right forearm, then moved the car and the unconscious Green, impacted by the sonic shock and anesthetic gas, to a far place.

Along with the little monster’s corpse, he also took out a body bag from the car, packed it up, and tossed it aside.

After finishing these tasks,

he took off his clothes, took a deep breath, and sprayed violently all around.

Countless green mists, emitted from Brian’s mouth, spread around, swiftly dissolving the surrounding flesh, bones, and other materials.

The surrounding flowers and grasses also seed to encounter a potent pesticide and weed killer, beginning to shrivel and yellow.

Ensuring all traces of blood and flesh were dealt with by his own Corrosive Poison,

Brian then exhaled a big breath of invisible mist.

This mist had a very pungent sll, resembling so banned virus and weed-killing chemical agent.

This was what he had absorbed into his body in preparation, now proving useful.

To be honest,

Brian sotis felt his body was like a ticking ti bomb.

If he were to die, within a radius of one kiloter, it would likely be engulfed by neurotoxin and other unknown toxins, becoming a land of biological extinction.
