The Elderly didn’t know how to ’create’ an Abnormal, but the ’Archbishop’ clearly did.

He just instructed the Elderly to follow his orders, and the orphanage naturally generated an Abnormal space.

Seizing the red-dressed doll was also an order from the Archbishop.

The anomaly of the Endless Corridor was not created by the Anomaly Sect, but after the Elderly sent soone to explore and report the information, the Archbishop sent the ’order’ to take away the red-dressed doll.

Although the Elderly didn’t know the reason, it was clear that the red-dressed doll had so use for the Archbishop, so he was also diligent in handling it.

But apart from that, the information the Elderly knew was actually not much; he was just a tool, following the Archbishop’s orders.

He took advantage of it.

However, this Archbishop was not like so ’enemies’ He Ao encountered before who erased their existence through certain ans, but almost completely existed in the Elderly’s mory.

He Ao even knew his na, ’Vestan’.

The mont this na surfaced in He Ao’s mind, an invisible mystical connection instantly spanned space and ti, reaching out to him.

Beyond the long expanse of space, a figure seed to sense it, turned around, and cast its gaze towards He Ao’s direction.

At the sa ti, He Ao also lifted his head and looked towards the figure’s direction.

The power of Super mory spread around him, stirring the chaotic lines of fate, severing the mystical connection that was about to form invisibly.

Ti and space, at this mont, seed to diffuse into scattered lines, and for an instant, He Ao’s gaze seed to traverse the vast distance, intersecting with the gaze from the depths of the void.

Bam—

The invisible connection completely broke, and that intangible figure vanished into the void.

"Whatever is known, is known accordingly."

The other party was at least an Angel and an Angel with so special mystical ability.

General Angels do not have such acute mystical perception.

That na should be his true na and a true na with mystical significance.

Combined with so special ability, once you know his na, a mystical connection can be established in the invisible, projecting a gaze over.

His reason for not erasing the Elderly’s mory might not be because he couldn’t, but to use this na as a ’trap’ to lure everyone trying to spy on him.

This ’Abnormal’, seems to be a calm pool, but beneath the water is an unfathomable abyss.

He Ao withdrew his gaze and released the Elderly’s face he had gripped.

Though he had read long mories, in reality, all of this had happened in an instant.

"Heh—heh—" The Elderly looked at He Ao; in his eyes, He Ao rely pressed a button on his face.

His lips curled up once more, "Soon, you will co down to accompany , and I will be reborn in the new world—"

Spurt—

He Ao didn’t wait for him to finish, directly pulled out the long spear.

The Elderly’s body shuddered, completely lost its vitality, and fell onto the ground.

Surrounding intense flas rushed towards here in an instant.

He Ao bent down, took the Crystal Ball that the Elderly tightly held, and then reached into the Elderly’s bosom, pulling out a card docunt.

This was a [Director’s Certificate].

The docunt also carried the Elderly’s photo.

At this mont, the content on this docunt was swiftly disappearing along with the Elderly’s passing, turning into a blank card.

He Ao gripped the card, directly leaped off the Fla Giant’s shoulder, his figure swiftly traversing through the dim night.

anwhile, he quickly said, "I, Loren, am willing to beco the orphanage director."

To beco the new orphanage director, you must kill the original director, then hold the Director’s Certificate to ’swear allegiance’."

The director can appoint deputy directors, only the director and deputy director can retain their existence during the reset and receive certain anomalous empowernt and ’protection’.

These were the ’rules’ of this space in the Elderly’s mory.

After a brief pause, the blank card again revealed new content.

That was a photo of a skinny boy, next to which the na field also revealed the na ’Loren’.

However, the speed of ergence was very slow.

At the sa ti, an invisible connection was being established between this Abnormal space and He Ao.

The speed of this establishnt was also not fast, He Ao needed a little more ti to truly beco a director.

He Ao glanced down at the Crystal Ball in his hand, the ’raindrops’ inside were still falling silently.

The reset was about to begin, but evidently, he could not beco a director before the reset.

Before truly becoming a director, he could not use any of the director’s ’Authority’.

And the position He Ao was in now was precisely in the direction away from the orphanage’s exit.

The earlier ’Bishop’ deliberately led them here, one was to exploit Finn’s body on the inside, the other was to prolong the distance He Ao and the others needed to leave.

Finally, even if they won, they still couldn’t leave before the reset, they would be erased by the power of the Abnormal space.

This was equivalent to perishing together with He Ao.

The burning Fla Giant had completely quieted down, the blazing fire on his body was beginning to extinguish.

He Ao held the card, feeling his body’s intense acceleration, the roaring winds cutting his cheeks like blades.

Relying on the gradually established connection with this Abnormal space, he could feel the surrounding space’s fluctuation.

In the deepest layer of this Abnormal space, the reset had already begun.

He could also feel that the power of this out-of-control Abnormal space was extending outward, enveloping the nearby urban area.

The ’Old Director’ hadn’t encountered such rules, he also didn’t know what those ’included’ during the reset would experience.

But He Ao estimated, it wouldn’t be a pleasant outco.

However, conveying this reset to the surface needed so ti.

He Ao held the Crystal Ball, attempting to invert it.

He was not the director now; he couldn’t directly use the director’s Authority.

But he could clearly feel that he still seed able to pass power through the gradually deepening connection with this Abnormal space, to ’pry’ this Crystal Ball.

In fact, this Crystal Ball was not born from the Abnormal space, but given by the Archbishop to the ’Bishop’, ordered to be placed in the orphans by fire.

After the Abnormal fully ford, this Crystal Ball developed a certain connection with the orphanage’s Abnormal space and could control the whole Abnormal space to so extent.

In fact, the entire orphanage’s Abnormality not leaking power for so many years was because this Crystal Ball acted as a limiter in a certain sense, keeping the orphanage’s power in check.

And the rule for manipulating this Crystal Ball wasn’t ’Authority’, but ’Symbolism’.

As long as He Ao latched onto a bit of the director’s ’symbolism’, he could try to pry at the Crystal Ball’s existence.

This rule’s formation likely had strong human factors, but at least at this mont, this rule was favorable to He Ao.

Boom—

He Ao’s body slamd to the ground. Just as Reid, who had run up to the Fla Giant, realized what was happening, he felt himself being lifted by a powerful force and tucked under an arm.

When the fierce wind brushed past his cheeks, Reid lifted his head and saw the side of He Ao’s face, "Loren, where’s that old man?"

"I took care of him," He Ao said without wasting words, sprinting forward with all his might, "This space is about to reset, we have to leave, or we’ll all die here."

He lifted his gaze, looking ahead.

The three hundred ter tall giant Fla Girl stood in the darkness, staring blankly at the unmoving figures on the ground.

"Sui," He Ao shouted loudly at the giant Fla Girl, "Give us a hand."

The Fla Girl turned her head, looked around on the ground, and finally found He Ao. She shouted blankly, "Big guy, what are you doing?!"

"Put your hand out!" He Ao shouted loudly.

Sui paused for a mont, then crouched down and extended her hand. The flas extinguished on her palm, revealing slender, graceful fingers.

He Ao jumped onto her hand and shouted, "Listen to , run forward."

"Run forward!" Sui paused for a mont but still lifted He Ao, stood up, and ran ahead.

"Faster! Even faster!" He Ao shouted, "To the left!"

The massive three hundred ter figure swiftly passed through the night, running toward that unknown direction in the darkness.

He Ao held the Crystal Ball in his hand, slowly turning it.

At the boundary of the entire space, the spreading mist seed to begin contracting gradually.

The clear silhouettes of the buildings also started becoming blurry again.

The distortions deep in the surrounding space beca even more intense at this mont; the resetting force was about to reach the surface layer of the world.

The gigantic flaming figure ran over buildings, through the darkness, cutting through smoke and mist, moving rapidly forward.

Soon, an iron gate appeared in the field of view not far ahead.

The Fla Girl stopped in her tracks, her thunderous voice echoed in the sky, "Big guy, I can’t run anymore, it seems I can’t leave here!"

She crouched down, placed He Ao on the ground, and looked at him with a smile, "You guys go."

"Sui," He Ao lifted his head, looking at the girl before him, quickly said, "Try ’Restore’."

"Huh?!" Sui paused.

Then she thought for a mont, clapped her hands, "Restore!"

In the next instant, the gigantic Fla Girl vanished, transforming into a lively girl with cracked skin, resembling a porcelain doll.

"Still can’t leave." Sui paused slightly, scratched her head, thought for a mont, clapped her hands again, "Restore!"

In the next instant, she transford into a delicate porcelain doll, falling from the sky.

He Ao extended his hand and caught her.

"Big guy, I seem to be able to leave now!" Sui lifted her head, waving her tiny arms excitedly.

"Mm," He Ao placed her on his shoulder, and before Reid could speak, he tucked Reid under his arm, "Let’s go!"

In the mont Sui landed on He Ao’s body, the restoring power on his body was restored once again.

So without hesitation, he harnessed all the power and charged toward the tightly shut gate ahead.

And behind him, the entire space-ti seed to tremble at that mont.

Blurred walls, electric grids, and the looming glowing building illusions vaguely appeared in the darkness behind them.

"It’s the surface space." Reid looked back at the blurred illusions, raspingly said, "The reset has begun?"

"Mm." He Ao, keeping his head down, kept running.

The speed of space resetting was becoming faster and they still had so distance from the gate ahead.

"Big guy, that gate is locked!" Sui, sitting on He Ao’s shoulder, pointed to the chains on the gate and quickly said.

"We need so ti to open the gate." Reid looked at the gate, his brows furrowing, appearing slightly despairing.

Just then, a dainty figure erged sowhat bewildered from the mist beyond the gate.

It was a girl with braids. She lifted her head, puzzled as she looked at the iron gate and the illusion in the darkness beyond it.

He Ao gazed at the girl, finding her face sowhat familiar but couldn’t place her.

But that didn’t matter. Clearly, she wasn’t one of the orphanage children, but soone who had wandered in from outside, which was good.

His pocket vibrated slightly, and a folding knife popped out of his pocket with a set of keys, rushing toward the iron gate, toward the girl outside the gate.

"Keys?!" Reid saw the keys and froze for a mont, realizing it was the gatekeeper’s keys, and those keys included four small keys belonging to the confinent room.

He stared wide-eyed at He Ao, "You knew early on that we needed to open this door?"

"Guesswork, prevention is better than cure," He Ao responded casually, "I’m familiar with this place."

The surface space gate didn’t have a keyhole, but the gatekeeper carried the main key.

This indicated that there would be a lock requiring the main key.

Reid opened his mouth slightly, temporarily speechless.

If they hadn’t taken this key earlier, they would now have to return to the surface to get it.

They’d be dood then.

Reid turned back, glanced at the trembling space in the depths of darkness, then toward the girl outside the iron gate, roughly guessing He Ao’s intention, "Do we still have ti to open the gate? Can that person outside help us? Does she know how to open the gate?"

The illusions around them quickly solidified, vibrating.

The reset was right on their heels.

"Trust in fate."

He Ao just took a slight breath, speeding up.

And at that mont, the key landed in the hands of the bewildered girl standing at the gate.

The girl glanced at the key in her hand, then looked toward the rapidly approaching, blurred figure in the darkness.

She raised her hand, inserted the key into the lock, quickly unlocking it, and opened the gate.

At that very mont, He Ao happened to arrive at the gate; he looked at the girl in surprise and passed through the gate without stopping.

He initially planned to use the Divine Sense in the folding knife to penetrate the girl’s sleeve, then directly manipulate the sleeve to grasp the key and open the gate.

He didn’t expect the girl to open the gate so skillfully and naturally.

But he didn’t have ti to ponder over these now.

As he crossed the gate, the illusions behind him completely solidified.

The reset had reached the surface.

It started from within this orphanage’s area,

And at that mont, He Ao held the Crystal Ball in his hand.

At that mont, he finally and completely beca the ’Director’ of this orphanage.
