Li Changle rolled her eyes playfully, remarking, "You're definitely getting conceited."
They both laughed heartily as Liu Yong steered the car toward a fine restaurant. It was already noon, and they decided to have lunch there.
The restaurant was bustling with custors, predominantly affluent individuals. The crowded venue underscored the fact that Huahai City was ho to nurous wealthy residents.
With all the private rooms occupied, Liu Yong and Li Changle settled for a seat in the main dining area on the second floor. Thankfully, they secured a spot by the window.
Liu Yong perused the nu and ordered various dishes, including at, vegetables, and two of the restaurant's signature specialties. Knowing he had to drive later, he refrained from ordering wine, opting for freshly squeezed juice.
The dishes arrived promptly, and as they savoured their al, the two engaged in conversation, sharing amusing anecdotes that elicited frequent laughter. Li Changle, in particular, found herself amused by Liu Yong's remarks.
The ambience was pleasant, and the food was delightful. The only drawback was the relatively high prices. The al cost them over a thousand yuan, but Liu Yong didn't give it much thought.
After approximately half an hour, they had nearly finished their al and were preparing to settle the bill, intending to catch a movie later in the afternoon.
