As Veyne sat down on the empty seat, many of his guild mbers stood up.

A few of the girls rushed toward Catherine to support her while others surrounded him.

For a mont, they just looked at him and then at Catherine.

The first to break the silence was this bob-cut, green-haired girl. "Guild—no, Veyne, what happened to you? Are you alright?"

Another bulky guy said from the side, "Dude, why are you taking out your anger on your girlfriend? She didn’t deserve any of this crap."

A third skinny guy tried to diffuse the situation. "Guys, let him speak."

But everyone just ignored him, and one after another, they all started criticizing Veyne.

He just stared at them. It had been so long; he didn’t even rember most of their nas.

The few he recognized by face were those he had approached for help in his last life.

It was kind of funny to see them care about his situation now. He didn’t want to entertain them any further. So he just said, "Didn’t I already dissolve the guild? Why are you guys calling then?"

As they heard his plain, cold voice, everyone froze.

One still shouted from the back, "It’s about the guild resources! Sobody stole—"

Veyne cut them off. "What are you talking about? As the guild leader, everything in the guild vault belongs to . Why do you care about my stuff?"

The bob-cut girl slamd her hand on the table. "Veyne, you can’t be serious, right? All of us poured so many hours into gathering that stuff. Everyone in the guild had equal rights to it!"

Veyne smiled. "Didn’t you just answer your own question? You’re correct—those items belonged to mbers of the Limia guild. But who are you?"

The broad-shouldered guy grabbed him by the collar. "Hey, Veyne, don’t joke with us. Just tell us where all that stuff is."

Veyne waved the guy’s hand off and shrugged. "If that’s all you have to say, then goodbye."

The bob-cut girl took a step toward him and swung her hand.

A few of them closed their eyes, anticipating a loud slap—but nothing happened.

They opened their eyes only to see Veyne blocking her hand.

The bob-cut girl shouted, "Veyne, you bastard! Give my stuff!"

Veyne just stared into her eyes and said in a calm tone, "You better control these hands of yours, bitch."

She stared at him, wide-eyed.

The broad-shouldered guy was about to lunge at him when another grabbed him.

The waiter shouted from the front, "If you cause any more ss, I’m calling the police!"

This agitated a few of them enough to back away.

The broad-shouldered guy said in a low, deep voice, "Veyne, you bastard, give us our resources or I’ll make your life hell."

Veyne just shrugged his shoulders and started walking out.

A few more started cursing him, but he didn’t care.

As he walked out, he saw Catherine staring at him with that snort-filled, pale face. It liked she was looking at a ghost.

He didn’t bother with her and walked past her, out of the cafe.

Almost all of his forr guildmates were screaming from inside, but he just looked at the sky with a wide smile on his face.

He didn’t care how they felt. From his side, it was over now.

It was the end of his guild master career.

He was now just a simple mber of the ever-so-small Kiyon guild, and he was content with that.

Veyne pulled out his phone, exited the guild chat, and blocked all their numbers, including Catherine, for his ntal peace.

They might try to contact him through other dia.

Even so, it would give him so peace. In ti, he planned to change his number in the next few days.

With still so much free ti, he just started walking around the college, refreshing a few bittersweet mories of his college life.

After mindlessly strolling for a couple of hours, he walked back to his dorm.

As he entered, it was too quiet.

The three dorm mates were probably already in class.

He thought about attending a class or two, but then shook his head.

Instead, he picked up the mop and started cleaning the food ss from the morning.

Cleaning all of it took almost an hour. With just less than half an hour remaining, he walked back to his room.

As he looked at his headset, he rembered the gaming pod in his office.

After forming the deal with Roonie today, he wasn’t sure whether to stay in the dorm or move to a different location.

Dorm life was kind of chill, but it lacked many training facilities, especially a good gym.

His current physique was also sort of in a ss.

He didn’t want to repeat the sa mistake of playing the ga for extended hours while ignoring physical training.

That was just a recipe for doom.

Now that he had both ti and support, he would do everything to improve as much as possible.

It didn’t take him long to make up his mind to switch to a high-end apartnt that had all those facilities.

Though this ti, he’d also spend a good chunk of ti in the college dorm.

A sort of balance between the two would be best.

He shook his head. Not wasting any more ti, he just lay down on the bed and put on the headset.

As he tapped the power button on the top of the headset, the familiar green light scanned his eyes, and in the next mont, the user ssages appeared before him.

Everything started to beco dark around him, like all his senses were going numb one by one.

Soon, everything around him blacked out.

The next second, a bright light hit his face. He was back inside the market of Blackwater Village, surrounded by hundreds of new players full of enthusiasm.

The next mont, a red ssage popped up in front of him.
