Roonie took the risk, and he started to explain how he got a call from both his siblings, and even about the two-day limit.
Veyne blinked at Roonie. "Wait, so Kiyon couldn’t even manage that small city?"
Roonie clicked his tongue. "I don’t know how, but those bastards, one way or another, kept ssing with the stuff. It was so bad that even the NPCs of that city wanted to give control to so other guild. Should I call Zack?"
Veyne shook his head. "No need. I’ll reach the city in a few days. I’ll examine the situation myself then."
Roonie nodded and asked, "By the way, what’s your story? How did you end up fighting two gigantic monsters?"
Veyne sighed. "I’m about to explain that. But before that, can you find out if soone related to the main guild joined Blackwater Village in recent days?"
Roonie tilted his head. "Why?"
Veyne looked at the bodyguard and asked, "My phone?"
The bodyguard handed him the phone. "Here, sir."
Veyne noticed the change in their attitude, but not thinking much about it, he opened the form and played the video.
He paused it just at the start of the action and said to Roonie, "You see, this snake is a Unique-grade boss monster."
Roonie tilted his head. "Wait, didn’t beginner villages only have elite-grade boss monsters?"
Veyne looked at Roonie with wide eyes. "So you know about the ga?"
Roonie rolled his eyes. "Not much, just so basic stuff."
Veyne nodded his head. "Well, that’ll do. So listen, mainly this boss monster appeared in the village because of a special quest."
Roonie stared at him. "You even know how to trigger those special quests?"
Veyne shook his head. "Nah, it wasn’t who triggered it. I was just part of a 10-player group that got this quest. I just did the chain quest a bit faster than the others, so the butcher gave this quest."
Roonie asked, "Then who triggered it?"
Veyne shook his head. "You see, that’s not important. What is important is the reward for the quest."
Roonie thought for a bit, nodded at him, and then pointed at him. "Wait, don’t tell you got the reward for the quest."
Veyne shook his head, but then half-nodded. "Sort of."
"What do you an, sort of?"
Veyne tapped on the table. "Actually, there were two kinds of rewards for the quest. The official reward was just so coins and a bronze-grade weapon."
Roonie frowned. "That’s just trash."
Veyne rolled his eyes. "Yeah, but the unofficial reward was that snake monster’s eggs."
Roonie stood up. "Wait, eggs? We can hatch those guys to get mounts, right?"
Veyne nodded. "Yeah."
Roonie asked with stars in his eyes, "What happened to those eggs? Did you get them?"
Veyne shook his head. "Nope. A guy from one of the legacy guilds got one egg, and a trio of strange players got the other eggs."
Roonie narrowed his eyes. "Wait, legacy guilds—that’s the sa as the main guild?"
Veyne nodded. "Yeah. See, even though I didn’t get the unofficial reward, I did get a sizeable portion of the reward for killing that snake monster. I believe your siblings kind of thought I might have gotten sothing powerful. That’s why they wanted to join them. Sort of impulsive call."
Roonie thought for a mont and then shook his head. "Nah, if that were the case, they would’ve called you first."
Veyne shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe they did, but since I was asleep, I didn’t pick up. You just saw hundreds of missed calls from unknown numbers on the phone, right?"
Roonie lay back. "Whatever. It doesn’t matter now. And yeah—what’s up with your phone? Why are you getting so many calls? Is it your own guild? You want my help?"
Veyne shook his head. "Nah, no need. I’ll deal with those guys on my own."
Roonie nodded. "Well, do as you wish." He got up while yawning and said, "I already saved my number on your phone. Let’s just call it a day. We will talk tomorrow."
Veyne said with a smile, "Okay, bro. Have a good sleep."
Roonie ignored him and said to his guard, "Call that Zack bastard. We’re leaving."
It didn’t take long before Zack ca.
As he saw the ss in the living room, he frowned and just stared at Veyne.
Before Zack could scream at him, Roonie walked away while shouting, "Don’t forget to call tomorrow."
Veyne just gave him a salute. "Sure, big boss."
Zack glanced back and forth in confusion. From inside, he had heard so shouting and stuff, but when he ca out, the atmosphere was completely different.
He didn’t get much ti to look around as Roonie and the guard had already started to move out of the dorm.
Soon, all four of them were gone.
Veyne just plopped onto his sofa, thinking about whether he should jump into the ga or wait around.
There were still four hours before the Monster’s awakening day. He also didn’t want to attract any more attention before the monster awakening cycle.
As he was thinking about it, he saw his phone buzz.
Another ssage from his girlfriend. Now that he had so free ti, he decided to close that matter today as well.
He grabbed his phone and first ssaged her to et him in the nearby coffee shop, then opened the Limia Guild chat.
The chat, full of screams and chaos, was now all about him. Everyone was asking about him.
He just typed a single ssage: [et at the coffee shop at 10.]
The mont they saw him typing, it was like a bunch of piranhas sensing at, as all of them rushed to ask about him.
Whether he had stolen the resources? Why did he do that? And so on.

He just sent his ssage and closed the chat. He placed the phone beside him and closed his eyes.
The next mont, he heard footsteps.
As he opened his eyes, he saw his dorm mates walking out.
All of them looked pale.
Alex even asked him in a heavy voice, "Dude, are you okay?"
Veyne looked at the ss and sighed. It looked like so kind of war had just happened here.
