Inside the private room within the prohibited hall, Forsyx handed the envelope to Xerk. "Here, this is my report."

Xerk looked at the envelope and asked, "Sir, can I look at it?"

Forsyx rolled his eyes. There was no point in denying it—after all, the guy could check the envelope outside.

Also, he was interested to see how this guy would react; after all, this was related to the slums. He wanted to see how Xerk would respond.

So he just nodded with a smile. "Sure."

He saw Xerk’s mouth drop as the teen clenched his fist. Xerk looked up at Forsyx, then at the map of the tavern.

Forsyx couldn’t help but comnt, "I guess your eyes and ears didn’t know everything about the slums."

Xerk nodded. "Sorry for my incompetence, sir. I will dig through what’s going on here."

Forsyx waved his hand. "Do whatever you want. My task is over, and I don’t want to drag myself into this any further."

Xerk nodded. "I understand, sir. I’ll keep that in mind."

For a mont, Forsyx wanted to suggest that the guy stay away from that place for a while, but he decided not to interfere.

If the teen was so incompetent that he couldn’t sense the danger, then it would be better to replace his agent early on.

Forsyx liked guts—but there was a big difference between being gutsy and being reckless.

Just to test his agent, he even nudged Xerk and said, "Well, I’d love to know more details about this in the weekly report."

Xerk simply nodded and folded the paper back into the envelope. "Sir, since this is your first task submission, you have to co with ."

Forsyx adjusted his mask and stood up. It was finally ti to tie this goblin form to the underworld.

He followed Xerk as the guy led him deeper into the corridor. At the end, he saw another door—this ti, two guards stood in front of it.

Xerk mumbled to Forsyx, "Sir, you have to show them my agent badge."

Forsyx saw Xerk showing the guards a paper card with his na on it.

He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a silver badge. This was a new habit he had developed for the prohibited hall—to keep the token inside his jacket and avoid using his inventory while inside.

He followed Xerk’s example and handed over the silver badge.

The guard glanced at it for a mont, then returned the token to him.

Xerk walked inside, calling him, "Follow , sir."

As he stepped inside, Forsyx found himself in a hall with a large reception counter. What was interesting was that the won behind the counter all wore black masks.

All he could see were their eyes—nothing else.

Xerk said, "Wait here, sir. I’ll make the arrangents for you."

Forsyx stood to the side, looking at a few other agents and quest-takers.

He noticed them also glancing around curiously—likely, it was their first ti too.

All of them had similar random masks like his.

With four receptionists behind the table, the process moved quickly.

Soon, Xerk waved at him. "Co here, sir."

Forsyx walked up to the leftmost receptionist.

She didn’t waste a mont and asked, "Sir Biggy Care, are you sure you want to continue with this alias?"

Forsyx nodded. "Sure."

She took out a black token and started scratching his na onto the tal with a sharp nail-like tool.

The sound of tal screeching was annoying, but without caring about that, the receptionist pointed to a strange black obsidian sphere.

"Sir, please place your hand on the crystal."

Forsyx followed her instruction and saw her placing the tal token with his na beneath the crystal.

Then she tapped on the globe, and the next mont, he felt sothing being pulled from his hand.

Soon, the black obsidian ball started to glow, and he saw the silver tal change to black under the light.

She picked up the card and handed it to Xerk. "Here."

Xerk took the card and motioned to Forsyx. "Sir, follow . Our work is done."

Forsyx glanced at the crystal and the card, then checked his player status.

He nodded and began walking out with Xerk in the lead. Along the way, he checked his status again to make sure nothing strange had happened.

Sure enough, all he noticed was that two points of mana had been consud—nothing else.

Xerk led him back to the private room and explained, "Sir, now that your na ID is linked to , I can submit the quest on your behalf.

The prohibited hall is about to close, so it will take until morning for soone to verify that you’ve t the submission conditions."

"By tomorrow morning, you’ll be able to collect your reward and also take on your second quest as a black ID holder inside the prohibited hall."

Forsyx nodded. "Good. Then I’ll see you next ti."

Xerk bowed. "Good night, sir."

With that, Forsyx walked out of the underground market and looked up at the night sky, full of thoughts.

This quest had ended pretty quickly because the condition only required him to investigate when Diana was outside the core region.

After lying around doing nothing, he realized one thing—

Even though his class was suited for stalking, these missions were actually a waste of his ti.

He could have used the entire day to train, which would’ve helped him grow stronger.

This experience really opened his eyes: maybe stalking tasks weren’t what he was looking for.

Forsyx shook his head. It didn’t matter. He didn’t plan to take on any new illegal tasks anyway.

The first thing he wanted to do now was train his Phantom Mirage skill, since that would increase his power and even help him level up faster.

With that, he could try his luck in a nearby Wildzone and maybe get his hands on so unique-grade monsters.

Then there was also the matter of his lab. While the monster reproduced, he needed to build other environnts inside the lab space.

He thought for a mont and decided to call it a day.

Not only had he done nothing all morning, but there was also that big party in the evening.

Not thinking much, Forsyx simply switched back to his human form and said,

"Log out."
