“Shaoting, I apologize for the interruption. This is my daughter, Charlene. You might rember her from our last eting,” Mr. John said with a smile, although his words carried a tone of scolding, his affection for his daughter was evident to anyone listening.

“Oh, it’s such a headache. She’s working at my company now, taking leave every other day, always late, no sense of discipline,” Mr. John sighed. However, he knew he was partly to bla for spoiling her, being his only daughter, she was his precious gem.

“Daddy…” Charlene grumbled, annoyed that her dad was complaining about her in front of Gu Shaoting.

“Daddy’s not wrong about you,” Mr. John sighed, feeling a bit exasperated and unsure how to discipline her.

“Daddy, I want to visit Big Brother Guts country. Look, I’ve been at your company since graduation, but I haven’t gained any real experience,” Charlene pleaded. Last ti, she didn’t bring it up because she hadn’t graduated yet, but she didn’t want to miss this opportunity now.
