Gu Joy and Yuan Wen went to class, had breakfast, and ran into Lu Xinxin, which really dampened the mood a bit.

She glanced around at the people nearby, and seeing that nobody was paying attention to her, she stealthily opened the ssage, which was from Zhou Yanlin.
“Joy, have you had breakfast? If not, I can bring you so,” read the ssage, which was short but felt very warm.
Upon seeing it, Gu Joy’s heart ward, and worried that he might really bring it since she had already eaten, she replied, “I’ve eaten already, what about you? Have you eaten?”
Soon another ssage ca in, obviously the other person had been waiting with his phone, otherwise the reply wouldn’t have co so fast, “I’m eating, I have no class first period, thinking of you on your first day, want to have lunch together?”
Even though it was just a screen between them, Gu Joy’s face turned red instantaneously upon reading the text.
She pursed her lips slightly, then sowhat shyly responded, “ too, okay, let’s have lunch together.”
Do people in love always feel like they need to stick together 24 hours a day?
Right now, Gu Joy felt that way too, always wanting to see him – maybe this is what’s called being lovesick!
And seeing his ssage “thinking of you on your first day,” her heart couldn’t help but feel very sweet.
It was like tasting honey.
Yuan Wen noticed her staring at her phone and blushing, then silently sat beside Gu Joy, whispering into her ear, “What’s up? Has your sweetheart sent you a ssage?”

“So, you an you’re going to ditch at noon to elope with your sweetheart?” Yuan Wen couldn’t help but snicker.
Gu Joy replied firmly, “We’ll go together for lunch!”
Her tone was very determined; she was not the type to abandon friends over romance.
Upon hearing this, Yuan Wen laughed, “That’s very thoughtful of you, thinking of even at this ti. I’m really touched, but being a third wheel is a terrible thing, they say it makes it hard to find a boyfriend later, so being a thousand-watt third wheel doesn’t suit .”
