At the break of dawn on the second day, freed from the threat of the Stinger Bugs, the Orcs of the Nacha Tribe finally enjoyed a peaceful sleep. Both Shaman Ji Nuan and the Orcs of the Watson Tribe have also started preparations for their al amidst the lively chirping of birds and beasts.

Despite having gone through a crisis, there wasn’t a dent in the Orcs’ passion for life. Several were already outside their tents, sharpening their stone tools and getting ready for the day’s hunt.

The females were busy sorting out the Beast Skins and tangible items they had kept in the caves over the past few days, airing them out in the open.

Ever since the Watson Tribe shared with them their preservation thods, they had started storing food as well.

"Fellow tribesn, our task this ti is to clear remaining Stinger Bugs in the forest. Be sure to look carefully and not miss a single one, alright?" ng Tai, all geared up, led a group of Orcs off on the mission. There were still many Stinger Bugs and their eggs in the forest that hadn’t been cleared up yet, posing great danger to the hunting and gathering Orcs and females.

"Nuannuan, I’ll go with them," Xiu Yan suddenly spoke out.

Ji Nuan looked at him, puzzled. "Why?"

The Orc’s gaze t hers. "When we cleaned out the Stinger Bugs yesterday, not many nests or eggs were found. They’re probably outside, I’m going to go collect them."

Ji Nuan’s eyes suddenly lit up. "That’s excellent! If you manage to find the nests, rember to bring back so alive. Just keep them in the basket. Who would have thought that the larvae of Stinger Bugs could prove so useful!"

Xiu Yan knew she would be thrilled. He ruffled her hair. "Then you stay here obediently and wait for to return before you leave."

Ji Nuan obediently nodded.

"Rest assured, I’ll remain by the side of Shaman Ji Nuan, I won’t stray a step away," Ya Li solemnly stated.

Xiu Yan shot him a glance, picked up his basket, and rushed off in the direction where ng Tai and the other Orcs were headed.

"This guy, really never gives anyone else a good face except you," Ya Li muttered to himself.

Ji Nuan chuckled. "What’s up? Do you have a problem?"

Ya Li shrugged. "No, no, not at all."

...

"ng Tai." The cold, magnetic voice was imdiately recognizable, and ng Tai knew who had approached him without having to turn around.

"Xiu Yan?" ng Tai was surprised. He couldn’t believe that Xiu Yan would leave Ji Nuan. He had always stayed close to her. Besides falling in the Eneru River previously, the two were almost always together.

"What’s up? Are you going hunting?"

Xiu Yan glanced at the surrounding trees. "Accompanying you to collect so Stinger Bug nests and corpses. Nuannuan wishes to research antidotes."

To get rid of the dreadful Stinger Bugs?

Upon hearing this, ng Tai and the Orcs of the Monte Tribe instantly lit up. "No problem. We’ll go together. The more Orcs, the easier we get things done. If we find anything, we’ll notify you."

They had originally planned to burn anything they found, but if preserving them aided Shaman Ji Nuan in her antidote research, they could spare their lives for the ti being.

"Follow . Let’s first check out the surrounding area where we burned the powder previously." With that, Xiu Yan was the first to sprint towards the forest.

The forest was littered with Stinger Bug carcasses. Stepping on them made a crackling sound, which made the Orcs’ skin crawl.

"Damn Nacha Tribe. Where on earth did they find so many Stinger Bugs?"
