Upon hearing Ji Nuan’s words, Chief ng Zhuo seed sowhat overwheld, turning to her, "If Shaman Ji Nuan says so, I’m even more curious now."
"In a little while, it will be Shaman Ji Nuan’s adulthood ceremony." Ya Li grinned, holding a large beast leg and gnawing at it enthusiastically.
"Shaman Ji Nuan’s adulthood ceremony!" exclaid Chief ng Zhuo, looking at Ji Nuan. "You didn’t tell because you don’t want to attend, is that it?"
After glaring at Ya Li, Ji Nuan replied, "That’s not it, I planned to invite Chief ng Zhuo, but given the current crisis in the Monte Tribe and the need to gather food for the winter, these matters seed of utmost importance."
ng Zhuo shook his head, "The adulthood ceremony is the most important event in the life of a female orc. Considering how many tis you’ve helped the Monte Tribe, how could we refuse to attend?"
"Well, in that case, you’ll have the opportunity to et all the tribes in the Eneru Forest." Ya Li stated proudly.
"Impressive Shaman Ji Nuan, all the tribes of the Eneru Forest are coming to celebrate your adulthood ceremony?"
Before Ji Nuan could respond, Ya Li interjected, "There are only two tribes left in the whole Eneru Forest now, so of course, you’ll be able to et all the clan leaders and tribe mbers."
These words genuinely shocked Chief ng Zhuo, "I rember that although there were not many large tribes in the Eneru Forest, there were several smaller tribes. How co there are only two tribes left now?"
He was filled with bewildernt.
Just as Ya Li opened his mouth to explain, a large bone was shoved into it. The cold voice carried an implicit warning, "Can’t you keep your mouth shut even when you’re eating?"
Visibly irritated, Ya Li glared at the icy Xiu Yan, grumpily removed the bone from his mouth, picked up his piece of beast leg, and moved to another heap of fire.
"Nuannuan, it’s ready. Have a taste."
Xiu Yan tore off a piece of well-roasted beast at and handed it to Ji Nuan, "Be careful, it’s still hot."
Ji Nuan swallowed her saliva, accepted the piece of at and took a small bite after cooling it down. The at was incredibly savory; it had been fully cooked yet remained tender, leaving a faintly sweet aftertaste. It was delicious.
Seeing Ji Nuan squint her eyes in enjoynt, Xiu Yan anchored the skewered piece of at into the ground, took a broad, clean leaf, and started to tear the at into smaller chunks and place them on the leaf.
While the two were leisurely devouring the delicious beast at, Chief ng Zhuo eyed them with longing and anxiety.
Ya Li had stopped speaking just when he was about to divulge sothing critical.
Chief ng Zhuo watched Ji Nuan with hopeful eyes, "Shaman Ji Nuan, is that piece of ga at delicious?"
Ji Nuan grinned and nodded, "It’s exceptionally delicious - so aromatic and tender."
Chief ng Zhuo rubbed his hands, "Given the great relationship between our two tribes, could you share with what Ya Li was about to say?"
Ji Nuan looked at Chief ng Zhuo, "It’s not that I can’t tell you. It’s just that it concerns our own Eneru Forest. Whether you know about it or not does not affect you."
ng Zhuo exhaled, "Then, tell about it. Ya Li only told half of it earlier. It’s putting on edge."
Seeing his anxious deanor, Ji Nuan decided not to play with his curiosity any longer. Smilingly, she revealed, "Just a few days before we arrived at the Monte Tribe, the smaller tribes in the Eneru Forest jointly approached our tribe, asking to join the Watson Tribe as orcs. Life in the smaller tribes is tough, so I agreed."
