The old shaman was sowhat anxious, for his biggest reliance was this poisonous snake cub that he had raised from a young age. If even the cub couldn’t handle these evolved orcs, he himself would be in trouble.
Thinking of this, his pupils seed to sink. An evil intention sprang up in his heart. As the poisonous snake battled with ng Tai, he began to mutter softly, uttering odd and indistinct sounds. But because the orcs were focused on the battle, no one noticed the shaman’s strange actions.
Not until a while later, when soft rustling sounds began to echo through the forest as if many things were shuttling among the trees, did the orcs beco creeped out.
"What’s that noise, did you hear it?"
"I heard it too, is it about to get windy?"
"Where’s the wind though?"
The orcs looked around. The sound attracted Layla’s attention as well, so he frowned and observed for a mont before looking towards the old shaman’s direction.
Indeed, he saw the shaman’s lips moving subtly, as if mumbling sothing.
"He’s summoning the snake beasts! Be careful, the old shaman is summoning snake beasts!"
Layla’s voice was loud and the surrounding orcs quickly beca alert.
"There’s a poisonous snake here!"
" too! I have one here too!"
"Ah, ah, there’s a snake! Help, save !" A piercing scream pealed out, and the forest around them began to slither with countless snakes of all colors erging from the bushes.
They attacked orcs with their heads raised high and more and more of the orcs started to fall to their bites.
The beasts of the orc tribe beca chaotic, attacking the snakes all around. In the commotion, no one noticed the old shaman, who had a snake coiling around his neck and was sneaking off into the forest with a beast skin pack on his back.
Only when about half of the snakes were killed and began to retreat did the orcs from both tribes realize that the old shaman was nowhere to be found.
"He got away!" Layla murmured.
ng Zhuo and the others also wore a not-so-pleasant expression.
With the tribal shaman having fled and having encountered such an incident, the Serra tribe lost their will to resist and obediently chose to surrender.
The smaller tribes that had allied with the Serra Tribe were all visited once and wisely chose to compromise. After all, one’s arm cannot twist one’s thigh, especially when the thigh was particularly thick.
"Chief Mo Zha, your tribesn can continue to live in their own territory, but before the cold season, you must present us, the Monte tribe, with ga equal in weight to one hundred Green Bull Beasts." ng Zhuo said to Mo Zha who sat below him.
After so thought, Mo Zha raised his head, "The ga is no problem, we can accept that, but I do hope that Chief ng Zhuo can relocate us to other territories."
The people of Serra tribe all plead sincerely and nodded," The old shaman could summon so many poisonous snakes, it would be too dangerous for us to continue living here."
"Yes, the shaman knows the location of our tribe."
"Please assign a new territory to us."
ng Zhuo frowned, seeming sowhat distressed. The territories in Lamu Forest hadn’t really changed much over ti. Although there were so vacant territories, none of them were large, which made Serra tribe’s request sowhat troubleso for him.
"Father, are you worried because there are no vacant territories available?" At this mont, ng Tai, who was sitting off to the side, spoke up.
