Watching the two beasts in the corner gossiping about Nuannuan, Xiu Yan’s eyes turned so cold they could slay a beast. Ice swords ford one after the other, whistling towards the father-daughter pair.
It wasn’t until they ceased their whispers, heads bowed in fear, that Xiu Yan withdrew his icy gaze. He then glanced distastefully at ng Tai, who was diligently grilling at on the side, and thought to himself: my dear female cub wouldn’t fall for such a stupid beast.
Little did he know that when with Ji Nuan, he wasn’t the least stupid, just more stupid.
Feeling Xiu Yan’s unfriendly gaze, ng Tai felt wronged. He had been obediently grilling at here. How did he offend this cold-faced beast?

He then ended with a serious face to all the tribal leaders: "When Shaman Ji Nuan goes out to gather herbs in the coming days, you all must be respectful to her. Understand? Treat her just as you would treat our tribe’s Shaman."
The tribe’s Shaman was the Shaman of the Monte Tribe.
The tribal leaders all widened their eyes in shock. So this Shaman held such a high position?

The orc didn’t pay him any attention. His round eyes were continuously sweeping around the tent: "Didn’t you say Shaman Ji Nuan was here? Where is she?"
Ji Nuan was still sitting on a beastskin cushion on the right-hand side without moving. But once the tribal leaders stood up, they shielded the few of them behind their bodies. So, after the orc hastily searched for a while, his gaze ca to a stop sowhere at the back.
He walked over with a good-natured smile and turned his attentive face towards the female behind the orc: "You must be Shaman Ji Nuan?"
