Chief ng Zhuo didn’t expect Ji Nuan to be so concerned about them. He laughed till his teeth were seen but not his eyes.
ng Tai chuckled awkwardly when he saw the appearance of his father. "Father, we haven’t eaten yet. Also, shouldn’t we first arrange a tent for Shaman Ji Nuan to rest in?" ng Tai nudged Chief ng Zhuo’s arm and suggested.
"Yes, yes, yes! I’ve got too excited, hahaha!" he responded and then turned and said, "Shaman Ji Nuan, you can rest in my tent for a while. I’ll arrange the orcs to set up another tent for you."
Ji Nuan and her group had only brought two dium-sized simple tents with them, so they did not refuse Chief ng Zhuo’s kindness. They smiled and walked towards the large tent in front of them.
Chief ng Zhuo, with a grin on his face, paced beside Ji Nuan. When they reached the entrance of the tent, he extended his arm to push away the tribal chiefs blocking the door. He personally took a few beast skin cushions and placed them aside for Ji Nuan and her companions.
Ji Nuan felt embarrassed seeing the crowd of orcs in the tent, "It seems like you are busy with tribal affairs. Maybe I should wait in another tent?"
Chief ng Zhuo imdiately put on a serious face and said, "Now that you are a guest of the Monte Tribe, how can we let you stay in a small tent? I’ll have them clear out so we can handle our business later."
He was prepared to wave his hand and have the tribal chiefs leave.
Ji Nuan quickly stopped him, "No need, all is well as long as you don’t mind, Chief ng Zhuo."
ng Zhuo waved his hand, "You saved our tribe back at the Beast God Mountain. Please feel at ho here with the Monte Tribe."
He then instructed the orc guards outside, "Bring our freshest Green Bull Beast and have the females send so cleansed fruits."
Once the orc guard left, he turned and said with pride, "Shaman Ji Nuan, you must try our fruits from the Lamu Forest. They’re extrely delicious."
Ji Nuan smiled, "I am looking forward to it."
Seeing the eager look from the tribal chiefs below, Ji Nuan felt a bit embarrassed, "You should go ahead and handle your tribal affairs. Having ng Tai here is enough."
Knowing that tribal matters are related to the lives of the orcs, Chief ng Zhuo could only nod his head, return to his place, and resu his work.
The father and daughter who, just a mont ago, were secretly discussing and devising sches, now looked at Ji Nuan, who was smiling and talking with ng Tai, their eyes full of hostility.
"Father, who is that female?"
The orc was also confused, "I haven’t seen her in the Monte Tribe these past few days. Maybe she’s ng Tai’s companion. Did we arrive late?"
"What should we do? Didn’t you say that ng Tai doesn’t have a companion? Why is he being so good to that ugly female?"
As the two beasts were discussing Ji Nuan and ng Tai’s relationship, they felt a sharp, claw-like look stabbing at them, causing them to stiffen. They looked up only to find a tall, handso, and icy Silver-haired Orc staring at them. His sharp face was filled with frost, and his piercing eyes looked as if they could impale them at any mont.
The father and daughter were so scared by the orc’s stare that they instantly broke out in a cold sweat. They imdiately lowered their heads and dared not look at the Silver-haired Orc again.
They were absolutely terrified. They glanced at each other stealthily, feeling as if the orc could hear what they were saying.
