The Orcs of the Monte Tribe were very proactive in treating their tribal mbers. In fact, they had set up a tent right after Ji Nuan finished her breakfast to create a better healing environnt for the injured Winged Orcs. They had even laid a layer of wooden planks on the ground to insulate the tent from the moisture of the earth.
The tent was very spacious. Ji Nuan walked in, followed by the cub who had been assisting her, Uncle Bai.
In addition to ng Tai and ng Zhuo, there were three unfamiliar Orcs in the tent. Ji Nuan didn’t pay them any mind. Chief Ge Xing, along with a few Orcs, also followed into the tent.
Ji Nuan squatted down next to the closest Winged Orc to assess their injuries. The spasms of pain contorted their expressions, and their faces were terribly pale.
"Their wings have beco unusable from the long exposure to the harsh winds on Beast God Mountain during their ascent. The damage has begun to spread to their bodies," explained an unknown Orc from the Monte Tribe.
Ji Nuan nodded, lifting a small porcelain jar from her backpack. She looked at ng Tai, "Bring a bowl of water."
Having seen her dical skills before, ng Tai eagerly ran out, returning with a bowl of water. Then, he stared expectantly at the jar in Ji Nuan’s hand...
Ji Nuan opened the jar and carefully scooped a small amount of powder into the water with a wooden spoon.
The three Orcs from the Monte tribe sniffed, but couldn’t detect the ingredients of the powder.
After stirring the potion with another spoon, Ji Nuan instructed, "Let him drink this."
ng Tai looked eagerly at the potion, "Is this the quick pain relief potion?"
Ji Nuan nodded, "Yes, hurry up."
ng Tai carefully carried the potion to the Winged Orc, ushering the potion towards his mouth, "Drink this quickly. You won’t feel any pain afterward."
The Orc gave ng Tai a grateful look, struggling to sit up to drink the potion. Then the Orc’s head lolled to one side, and he fell into a peaceful sleep.
Seeing this, ng Zhuo and the other three Orcs stepped forward, "What happened?"
Before Ji Nuan could answer, ng Tai grinned, "Father, uncles, don’t worry, he’s fine. This is the rare pain-relief dicine mixed by Shaman Ji Nuan. After drinking this, no matter how much pain he suffers during the treatnt, he won’t feel a thing. He will probably wake up by noon tomorrow."
ng Tai’s words left ng Zhuo and the other Orcs stunned. Was there truly such a magical dicine?
With a pair of scissors, Ji Nuan patiently cut off the beast skin from the upper body of the Winged Orc, revealing his injuries for all to see.
The place where his wings connected to his shoulders was discolored, and the featherless parts were the sa color.
Ji Nuan was taken aback by the severity of the injuries, "This is really serious. His wing has necrotized, and the decay has spread to his shoulder."
ng Zhuo nodded solemnly, "Yes, in the past, Winged Orcs have died this way, and even if any of them managed to make it back to the tribe, our shamans couldn’t treat them."
Ji Nuan thought to herself: Of course, there could be no treatnt. For such injuries, no amount of herbal dicine would work unless the necrotic wing was amputated.
She looked at ng Zhuo, "There’s a way he could survive."
ng Zhuo’s eyes lit up in shock, "He can still survive?"
