Having regained his senses for a while, Ji Nuan finally resigned himself to getting dressed. After washing up and tidying his hair, he slowly walked out of his tent.
At this ti, the front of the Watson Tribe’s tents was filled with a group of unknown orcs. At the head of the group was an imposing middle-aged orc. Beside him, stood...
"ng Tai?" A soft feminine voice echoed, bringing a mont of silence to the area. Ji Nuan steadily walked over to Clan Leader Ge Xing’s side and looked at ng Tai. "Why are you making such a fuss so early in the morning?"
Ji Nuan didn’t look happy. No matter how he looked at it, these orcs seed to be here to cause trouble.
ng Tai gave Ji Nuan an apologetic smile. Then he walked up to the imposing middle-aged orc and introduced him: "Father, this is Shaman Ji Nuan, whom I told you about."
He turned to Ji Nuan: "Shaman Ji Nuan, this is my father, Chief ng Zhuo of the Monte tribe."
ng Zhuo bowed: "Shaman Ji Nuan."
Although being woken up had irritated Ji Nuan, seeing an orc chief of a large tribe paying his respects softened his anger. He bent slightly in return and asked with a smile: "Good morning, may I know the reason for your tribe’s early visit?"
Chief ng Zhuo replied with a kind smile: "Apologies if our loud orc voices have disturbed you."
His expression turned grave, "Actually, we have co to ask for Shaman Ji Nuan’s help in treating our tribesn."
Ji Nuan thought for a mont and then asked: "Could Chief ng Zhuo briefly describe the condition of your tribesn?"
ng Zhuo nodded and explained: "Shaman Zhijiu, you should have heard that when we ascend the Beast God Mountain, we rely on winged orcs. This ti, nine of our winged orcs were injured. Two of them passed...passed away on the way here and t Lord Beast God. The condition of the remaining seven is also not good."
He then patted ng Tai on the shoulder and said, "We heard from ng Tai upon arriving here at dawn that you were a very skilled shaman. So, we would like you to examine these winged orcs and hopefully save their lives."
The hope and sincerity in Chief ng Zhuo’s eyes extinguished the remnants of Ji Nuan’s displeasure. He could only nod in agreent and say, "Have your orcs set up a tent here and bring the winged orcs over. I will do my best."
ng Tai frowned: "Could you please..."
His words were cut off by a stern look from ng Zhuo. ng Zhuo gratefully responded: "Alright. I will go back and arrange it now."
He nodded to Ge Xing before walking back to their tent with ng Tai in tow.
"Father, the winged orcs are severely injured. Why don’t we have Shaman Ji Nuan co and treat them?" ng Tai asked, puzzled.
ng Zhuo looked at his son sternly, and answered in a deep voice: "ng Tai, did Ji Nuan’s easy-going nature make you forget about another ability that shamans possess besides healing?"
After saying this, he turned around and went to arrange for a tent to be set up, and have the injured winged orcs brought over.
Left behind, ng Tai stood there, his face deathly pale. Although it was cold on Beast God Mountain, he was covered in a cold sweat.
Indeed, just as his father said. Due to Ji Nuan’s kindness and generosity, he completely forgot that shamans could not only heal wounds, but also communicate with Lord Beast God...
