Sa Duoduo, her face a ghastly bluish-black and her breath faint, was laid on the kang bed, a trace of dark blood lingering at the corners of her mouth.
Looking at the once arrogant and scheming female orc that was now lying here on the brink of death, Ji Nuan felt a mont of complexity in her heart.
"Sister, I’ve never encountered this kind of situation before. It doesn’t look like she’s eaten any poisonous food either, what do you think?" Shaman Benny furrowed his brows, expressing his deep concern.
The Green Mountain Tribe’s Shaman, standing by, also nodded his head solemnly, "I’ve never seen this either."
Grandma Shaman, however, paid no attention to the conversations of these two orcs. Supported by Ji Nuan, she walked towards Sa Duoduo, carefully starting to examine her.
At this ti, Lu Shi was standing by the kang bed, his eyes red, looking extrely worried.
When he noticed Ji Nuan looking at him, he forced a crooked smile, revealing a naive grin filled with unshed tears.
Before Ji Nuan could react, a large, sturdy figure stepped between them. The deep, wolf eyes radiated danger and looked uncomfortably at Lu Shi. A cold voice filled with a chilling intent echoed: "Take care of your own female orc. Stop smiling at others."
Ji Nuan rolled her eyes secretly, how co she had never noticed before that this Silver Wolf was such a jealous creature?
(Because he had been dealing with those who coveted you behind the scenes.)
At this mont, Grandma Shaman finally finished her examination. Ji Nuan walked up to her, supporting her to sit on the kang bed: "What happened, Grandma Shaman? Can she be saved?"
Grandma Shaman looked sowhat grim. Her dark eyes scanned the room. Seeing all the Tribe Chiefs present, she finally spoke, "Sa Duoduo... has consud the blood of a Fallen Beast."
Just as Ji Nuan had anticipated, the ntion of Fallen Beast made everyone’s face drastically change.
"I have seen an orc tragically die after drinking the blood of a Fallen Beast before. The entire body was black and blue."
Sarkar stepped forward, caressing the hair of his child with fondness, before asking Grandma Shaman, "Is there a way to survive after consuming the blood of a Fallen Beast?"
Grandma Shaman first gave a heavy shake of her head, then finally spoke, "The only way to save Sa Duoduo now....is to let her drink the blood of a Fallen Beast again as the antidote."
Samuel sorrowfully said, "But where can we find that specific Fallen Beast? Poor Duoduo, if we don’t find the Fallen Beast... my little sister..."
Sarkar, eyes red-rimd, looked at the barely breathing Sa Duoduo and shouted, "Why did the Watson Tribe encounter a Fallen Beast! And it even hurt Duoduo!"
The language was full of complaints and dissatisfaction about the Watson tribe, and there was even a bit of resentnt mixed in.
Sarkar’s words instantly made Ji Nuan frown. She walked up, speaking sarcastically, "Before your Green Mountain Tribe arrived, our Watson Tribe had never experienced any incidents of females or Orcs being hard by Fallen Beasts. Could it be that this Fallen Beast belongs to your Green Mountain Tribe!"
Ji Nuan’s words made Lu Shi, who was laying beside Sa Duoduo, tense up.
Sarkar’s face turned red at Ji Nuan’s accusation, it was extrely embarrassing. Being mocked in front of so many Orcs by a youth much younger than himself made his old face feel unbearable.
At this mont, Lu Shi wiped the tears off his face and stood up. He took a step forward and grabbed Sarkar’s arm, "Father, actually, when I went out hunting, I... I discovered..."
