"Chirp chirp." The small fur ball in Xiu Yan’s beast-skin coat had been squirming around for a while before finally crawling out, alerting the other beasts in the room with its frantic calls.
Ji Nuan reached out to pick up Fu Yi and gently placed him on the kang table, "What’s wrong, Fu Yi?"
As the little furball caught the attention of all the beasts present, it lay on the table and said, "That Lu Shi is a Fallen Beast. He wants to be Ji Nuan’s own mate."

Hearing the term Fallen Beast, and having grown up in the Cub Cave, Ji Nuan felt as if sothing heavy was pressing on her heart and it was exceptionally tough.

The most vivid mory from her past was about these Fallen Beasts, the orcs cursed by the Beast God. They kill and eat cubs to gain imnse power, but their lifespan drastically shrinks to less than 50 years.
Their blood is extrely poisonous and intensifies along with their sins.
Ji Nuan truly hadn’t expected a terrifying being like this to infiltrate the Watson Tribe. The thought that a Fallen Beast was thinking about her sent a chilling shiver down her spine like she was standing in a snowy landscape wearing a thin clothing.
A hot palm wrapped around her chilly hands, prompting Ji Nuan to snap out of her fear. A cool and magnetic voice rang in her ear, "Don’t worry, I won’t let him hurt you. Trust , okay?"
The final "okay" was like a little hook, scratching her heart and making it tickle.
Curling the corner of her mouth into a small smile, Ji Nuan tilted her head. She stared at the orc next to her. Unexpectedly, she said sothing that shocked the other beasts.
"Brother Xiu Yan, let’s beco mates!"
The little female’s voice was soft, but to Xiu Yan, it sounded like a thunderous roar both in his ears and his heart.
Fierce wolf eyes that usually barely opened widened just a bit, his smile on the corner of his mouth frozen.
"Really?" He was stupified and nervously swallowed, his large hot hand started to sweat from anxiety.
Ji Nuan was surprised at her own bold statent, but the wet feeling in her hand was silently revealing the anxiety of the tall and stern orc in front of her.
She puffed up her little chest, cheeks flushed red and said, "Really, let’s beco mates when I co of age."
