"It's still alive!" Mike exclaid from the back, shock evident on his face which was not compatible with his size.
"I didn't get the experience..." Lucas realized that after he had beheaded the zombie, there were no texts.
"Strike it again! We don't have ti." Lucas ordered and went to the next batch of zombies that ca toward them.
Lucas just went forward to the ones that were still moving toward them in numbers.
Jimmy and he started to strike them all and it was very easy as their bodies were decomposed to the point that a strong gust could make so flesh tear off and fall to the ground.

Sarah and Jerry were at it blasting the heads off the zombies making them split into many pieces and falling down which made Lucas get new hope of completing the dinsion safely but the next second, the sa thing happened. Black tendrils ca off of the main body to get the many pieces back together.
The headless one was already intact again and trying to get up when Mike with his tough skin and gauntlets around the knuckles, punched the forehead making it split apart.

"Did anyone get an experience gain text from them?" Lucas asked while making two more heads fall off. If one looked from afar without context, one could say that Lucas had a talent for swords, the way he was swinging, and splitting them with only one attack showed the amount of training he had put in using it.
But no one noticed it as the zombies that he killed were getting up again and again as if they were immortal.
"What the fuck..." Lucas looked at the hole again and could see many more coming from there, he was happy that these things were slow and took several minutes just to travel so ten ters to them.
He saw Kimmy who used his blades to first sever the arms and then with one swipe from the both together, he made the legs sever off too.
Jimmy left the zombie with his head intact on the ground that was wiggling around and went to the others without stopping making Lucas impressed but he had no ti other than so seconds-long glances here and there to look at everyone's performance and going forward like this.
Another minute passed and Lucas was now near the hole, he had cut each and every zombie with one strike without using any skills and co his way toward the hole thinking that the others were safe with John and Jimmy.
Lucas took a glance from the many gum-like openings and was horrified by the scene. Countless zombies were coming up with the help of each other, the inside of the hole had many hard flesh bumps that the zombies took hold of to climb ahead.
He looked back, still the sa killing and then getting back up was going on. No one had the ti to bitch about it as the damn things kept coming back up and they had to sever it again to get a little ti to even look around.
SMACK!
Lucas used the flat surface of the sword like a bat and made the zombie's head split into many pieces, the other zombies beneath it didn't care and tried to go over it making the headless body fell inside the hole.

Lucas could see a short-term plan here but he still had to think of how to be done with them completely.
Minutes passed when he kept striking them smashing the heads into pieces that tried to co up until he finally had an idea.
Lucas activated his 'Perceptive eyes' in the hope that sothing happens and he was not wrong.
The whole world changed and for the first ti after activating the skill, he only saw darkness.
The whole land was as if made of sothing sinister that excluded out negative and dark aura from within it.
Lucas had no ti to waste and he looked at one of the zombies on the ground near him that was going to regenerate quickly.
Lucas saw black veins coursing through the thing's whole body and they were all connecting to a single thing, a ball of dark matter right above the naval and even inside the stomach if he knew the anatomy right.
Lucas went toward it ignoring the ones that were coming up, he stationed his sword above the dark matter and pierced it right inside it.
"KK.... KHUUU!!!!" The head that had the tendrils connected started to make so very uneasy sounds as if sothing was finally happening.
Lucas could tell that the dark matter was dispersing after he pierced it. He made his sword co out and looked everywhere in order to be safe and not daze out in the middle of the infected battlefield.

"Hahahaahahhahaahha.... Finally!" Lucas burst out into laughter making many look at him with worry.
"Damnit! Did the virus get to him already?!" Sean exclaid from the back finally making Lucas get his mood back to grumpy.
Lucas made his way back to the group with a wild grin on his face making many worry for him and so thinking that he had finally gone senile.
Lucas made his way to the one that was still trying to get his arms and legs back which Jimmy had thrown in different directions for security or sadistic reasons.
When Lucas's gaze fell on the others in his group, he saw many bright colors again and it made his eyes hurt so after cross-checking where dark matter was located, he stationed his sword on it and deactivated his skill.
"Jimmy, can you co here for a second?" Lucas asked which made Jimmy co after severing one more zombie's limbs and head.
"Rember this place... okay?" Lucas showed him the place he had stationed his sword's blade at, and after telling him so details for another second, he asked him to stab it right there.
Jimmy complied thinking that it was so developnt anyway and pierced his thin sword right at the dark matter.
