They had agreed to co in a dungeon, not another dinsion, and that too made of infection and puss.
Many didn't say anything thinking if they open their mouth, the puke won't stop but they didn't have to wait.
So scary noises of shouting started coming from the big hole around 10 ters away from them.
Everyone froze thinking that sothing would co out eventually and it did... after three whole minutes. A hand grabbed the many small gum-like growths around the hole and started coming above.
It was not the only one as soon the whole circle's boundary had so hand or two coming out of it.
Lucas squinted his eyes and could see a head suddenly co out of the hole.
Lucas couldn't help but frown as the face was like any other human's yet the skin was all chipped from many sides. There were various wet spots in it which were green in color, the eyes were normal aside from the reds in replacent of the whites.
"Get ready!" Lucas exclaid and gripped his sword tightly, they had made the plan to not take a single step ahead and let the enemies co to them in order to not get any type of surprise attack.
Soon, two of the zombies were out of the hole, they were not wearing any clothes as the whole body was covered in so kind of flesh growths and random muscle growths and bumps that made them disgusted.
Unlike any zombies they had seen in movies before, these were the worst ones, and the thought of turning into these kinds of things made many have the urge to work harder.
"4 types are supposed to co, this ans that humanoid is one of the types. We can't take any risk so without any hesitation, just bash their skull inside out." Lucas took the easy guess of cutting their heads which would normally kill these types with ease.
Lucas saw one of them staggering toward the group, its eyes voided from any emotions which made him uncomfortable as the expression was sothing he had not seen his whole life.

The others kept looking from behind with the intention of giving their support whenever it was needed.
Lucas at first just kept looking at the zombie while he ca toward him, he realized that the zombie might have not been a human but he was shaped like one.
His mind went on overdrive when he thought of it this way but the zombie hadn't stopped at all. The distance between them and him had shortened to co ters.
"Don't hesitate!" John exclaid from behind making Lucas co out of his trance.
John could have shot the icicle on his own to take care of the zombie yet he wanted Lucas to start. He knew that hesitating now was good, it showed that he was still a human but if the hesitation sticks to the personality then it becos a huge problem.
Lucas lunged forward, his sword slicing through the air as he aid for the humanoid zombie's neck. With a swift and powerful strike, he decapitated the creature, sending its head flying and its body collapsing to the ground.
The others watched in a mixture of awe and horror, realizing the severity of the situation they were facing. The stench of decay and the grotesque appearance of the infected creatures made their stomachs churn, but they had no choice but to press on.
As Lucas retracted his sword, he turned his attention to the remaining humanoid zombie. It was now just a few ters away, its jerky movents and vacant gaze sending a chill down his spine. Without hesitation, he moved to strike again, aiming to end the threat quickly.
The two other humanoid zombies that were near him ca close together but Lucas didn't have ti to dilly-dally. He wanted to take care of many as quickly as possible.
His mind never thought of why the others weren't attacking and if they were using him as a shield to protect themselves. Lucas just didn't care, his life and his group's life was in danger and he just wanted it all to end quickly.
Lucas activated the electric aura of the sword for a second and when he felt that the process was over, he swiped the sword with all his might, this ti though the zombie's hand ca in between but the body was so wet and decomposed already that he could just go through it and the head all together.
Lucas didn't feel any less of a human even when doing this to one that looked like it. He knew in his heart that these were not humans and in these cases, the most a person has a problem with is not their own mindsets but what the others think about them.
Lucas knew that the others wouldn't judge him badly for it as they were also going to partake in the killing again.
Lucas didn't have to do anything to the other one of the two that were the closest as Jimmy had co and swiped one of his hands making the blade slice the head off without any trouble.
Lucas just nodded toward the man who gave a smile in return but there was still a natural frown on his face, the situation was still very ssed up.
Lucas looked at the many other Zombies coming slowly toward them without stopping.
About tens of them were moving forward and there were still that were climbing the holes.
"L-Lucas..." Suddenly, a scared voice ca from behind, Lucas looked back and saw that Sarah was aiming her finger at the ground near him with a pale expression.
Lucas looked at the side and couldn't believe it, the first zombie that he had killed was still lying headless with its head a few inches away.
But the abnormal thing was that black veins were coiling their way from the neck's inner flesh toward the head and so had already even connected themselves with the head.
Before Lucas could react, the head started reacting as the jaw moved slowly while the eyes regained their emotionless but functionalness of themselves.
