These were the roles in the first part of the guide about them. Lucas had enough of them but found that many of them were actually very interesting and could help better the shelter and the territory.
'This place will be better than any other territory if only I keep upgrading the shelter…'
The little sleepiness he had vanished completely. Lucas now just wanted the night to end so that he could talk with John about these.
After thinking about John, he couldn't help but try to find the right role for the guy yet he was right for many roles.
Most of them included roles that either handled money or diplomatic relations that Lucas found important for later. He was strong about trade before anything like this had ever started.
To be exact, he was faster than the other. So for the shelter, while the other would make settlents from scratch.
Lucas had cold storage, a basent which was a workstation that could increase proficiencies, the shelter had permanent firepits that had many uses, an area they could sleep in and more could be made by Mike yet he refrained from now.
A few hours passed and finally, John was out of the shelter, he looked at Lucas all engrossed seriously in his holograms.
"Well, good morning." He said taking Lucas's attention finally.
"Ah, you are awake huh. Good morning, How did you sleep?"
"All good thanks to you."
"Great. I have so things to talk about, mind to lend your mind for a while?"
"Anyti" John looked to be in a good mood, he stretched his whole body parts one by one and sat beside Lucas on one of the logs near the big camp that was always lit no matter the ti.
"I looked at the roles, they are not bad. I have thought of so possibilities for them."
They both talked for a while, Lucas told him about everything he had thought about and what he had researched in this ti being.
"So you have assigned many roles already… that makes things easy. And most of them are accurate as long as the ones you selected actually agree to them."
"So you agree with them?" Lucas asked with curiosity and John nodded with a smile.
Things were changing with Lucas a lot, with the mark of the damned and the new title, things had beco very different with him yet John liked how his pride had still not made him arrogant.
Sothing that happens a lot with people his age with such authority. John was always elated by the fact that Luca beca the leader of the shelter and not him.
He would have done a very good job yet he had no interest in leading. He was interested in learning and trying new things that would beco impossible for him as the pressure of being a leader was high.
It could be seen with Lucas too, he was unable to do so things that he wanted just because he had to look after and observe the progress of everyone before.
"Let's wait for everyone to get up, we will talk about it at the ti of our breakfast."
"Aren't you going to sleep?" John asked, the first frown on his face had already co in the midnight.
"I am not tired at all and you know that I can be without sleep for 3 days without it affecting a lot, right?"
"Doesn't an that you have to go without sleep for so long," John grumbled but stopped, he knew Lucas was not going to listen so he just shook his head in dismissal.
So hours later, many started to get up from their sleep.
Luca told them all about the small but important eting they were going to have at the ti of breakfast and they were ready for it.
While there was still ti for so to wake up he couldn't just ask them to get up.
"Lucas, are you going to go outside right now?" Ella asked, with her, Lucas could look at the basilon staring at the food that was being prepared with saliva dripping.
"Yes. Do you need anything, Aunt Ella?"
"Can you take him for a stroll? Believe , he won't misbehave."
Lucas looked at the basilon for a few seconds while the latter did the sa thing. He wanted to reject yet he wanted to try sothing anyway.
"Alright, no problem. I am leaving right now, just tell it to behave alright?"
