The rabbit landed on the ground and imdiately jumped again. It kicked a tree and shot toward the skeleton a second ti.

’This rabbit has so balls, attacking like that rather than running away,’ Jake thought, but he had allowed this whole thing to go on for too long.

He made the second skeleton charge in. As soon as the first one blocked the attack and was trying to get away, the second skeleton got to its side and slashed downward. The sword dug into its body and imdiately drew a huge amount of blood.

The rabbit fell to the ground, unmoving. The skeleton walked closer and stabbed it, finishing the blow.

[You have killed a Rabbit. 5 Exp, 5 soul shards.]

[Your undead skeleton has gained 2 Exp.]

’Hmm, the rabbit gave the sa exp as the goblin, but with fewer soul shards. Why’s that?’ Jake wondered.

He walked to the rabbit on the ground and picked it up. Taking a sword from the skeleton, he imdiately started cutting. He had no idea how to really butcher the rabbit, but he improvised.

And while he was doing that, he instructed the skeletons to gather so dry sticks for him, and they did that, forming a small pile.

After that, he started the long and perilous journey of making fire. He tried smacking rocks against each other to get a spark to light the flas, but even after minutes of trying, it still didn’t work.

"Arghhhhhhhhhh!" he yelled at the top of his lungs. He threw the rock at a tree, huffing and puffing.

He sat there, not sure of what to do, but then he recalled that he had Drake, and Drake had sothing called the necrotic flas.

He summoned Drake right there. Though it was cramped up, Drake still managed to coil his way around the trees.

"Master, you summoned ," Drake said.

"Yeah, can your flas burn like real flas?" Jake asked.

"Yes, Master. My flas burn the physical and the soul as well," Drake replied.

"Good," he said and pointed to the stick, "light it up."

"Huh?" Drake’s jaw dropped when he heard the instruction. He stared at the sticks on the ground. "Master, you summoned to make a fire?" Drake asked.

Jake shot him a cold look. "Will you do it already? I’m seriously pissed at this mont. I need those flas now," he said, tapping his feet on the ground while he spoke with Drake.

"I understand, Master," Drake said. He turned his head to face the stick, opened his mouth, and let out a small green fla that hit the sticks, and they imdiately caught on fire.

"Heck yeah!" Jake yelled and jumped to his feet. "Thanks, Drake. I’ll see you later," he said and unsummoned him.

He rushed over to the fire and gathered large sticks, setting the whole fire. He stuck the at he had cut up on a stick and set them on the fire to start roasting.

A few hours passed, and finally, the at was tender and ready. He took it off and allowed it to cool down for a bit before digging in. There was no seasoning, but to him, this at tasted like heaven.

While he was wolfing it down, he heard footsteps rushing in his direction.

’Sothing is coming. Did they sll the food that I made? Shit.’ He got up and faced the direction of the footsteps. They got closer with every second.

A goblin leaped out of the bushes and imdiately charged at Jake. Jake took a few steps back, and the undead skeletons imdiately covered the space. The first blocked the goblin in his path, and the second attacked, but the goblin managed to evade the slash.

It scurried backward, looking at Jake with bloodlust in its eyes.

’I can finish him. I just need the skeletons to press,’ Jake thought, but at that mont, the remaining nine goblins ca out as well.

Imdiately he saw them, he subconsciously took a step back. He clenched his fist, his eyes pinned on them.

Imdiately, the goblins rushed the skeletons. They held nothing back, attacking from left and right. The skeletons tried their best to fight, but they could barely do anything before they were bashed into the ground by the goblins.

’The skeletons aren’t smart enough to get out of such a situation,’ Jake thought. He didn’t want to lose his summons, so he unsummoned them all. And now, with that out of the way, the goblins shifted their attention to him.

They bared their teeth, foaming at the mouth, growling as they approached slowly. It seed that they were already certain that they had killed him, so they didn’t even need to rush it.

"Are you looking down on ?" Jake suddenly asked, his lips curled up into a smile that would send shivers down the spines of anyone.

"Drake, co out here," he said. Imdiately, the summoning portal appeared under him, and the dragon rose up, curled around Jake.

"Master, please tell that you don’t want to make another fire. I’m a legendary creature," Drake said.

"Hey, I needed that fire. And besides, that’s not what I need you for," Jake said and pointed at the goblins. The goblins had already been frozen in fear the mont they saw the dragon.

And when Drake turned to look at them, it was as if their hearts left their chests. They imdiately tried to run.

"How dare you try to run after attacking my Master?" Drake spoke. His voice imbued fear into them imdiately. Their bodies refused to move no matter how much they tried.

Drake opened his mouth. His flas gathered where his lungs would normally be, and with one breath, the dark green flas shot out and engulfed all of the goblins, killing them instantly.
