Astralious desperately wanted to stop Elias from going to the Shadow Domain, but he was helpless. He couldn't control Elias, as his own consciousness was trapped by an unknown force.

He thought there might be a possibility of freeing himself, like last ti, if Elias placed an even greater burden on his body, as he had after rging with the Fables.

Unfortunately, the boy had done sothing even more bizarre, performing the rger with lifeless objects instead.

At this point, all his plans had failed, and he could do nothing but watch Elias act as he pleased. The only consolation was that Elias was, at least, still alive.

The storms of the rger kept disappearing one after another, and Elias stored the items in his permanent storage in preparation for his trip to the Shadow Domain.

There was only one item that was yet to finish rging. It was the jet, which had suffered significant damage in its fight with Harbinger. Amidst the rger storm, he could occasionally hear the ego's thoughts, which described the process as extrely painful.

Elias approached the storm of the last rger. Unlike before, the storms didn't harm him. They tried to push him back, but they couldn't even leave a scratch on his clothes, let alone his body.

"Just a little longer. It will be over really soon," Elias said, disappearing into the storm. He entered the eye of the storm to watch the changes taking place right before his eyes.

The old man who was the owner of this Domain was still in hiding, watching everything in disbelief. There were many monts where he thought about stepping out and revealing his presence to the boy, but the things that he saw, one after another, left him with very complicated thoughts.

He looked at the tree that was right next to him, which had a fist-sized hole in it. He still wasn't sure if Elias had managed to notice him, or if the shot that ca in his direction, only slightly off, was just a coincidence.

When the bullet flew past him, even he had felt a sense of danger. Even if that bullet couldn't have killed him, it still would've left him heavily injured if he wasn't careful.

"Just what kind of monster did that little girl save?" the old man mumbled in disbelief.

Sothing that made him even more shocked than the actions of the boy were his words. He was talking about going to war with the Shadow Domain as if it was nothing but an ordinary thing in life.

Even if he had been able to leave his domain, he never would've thought about doing sothing like this, since the Shadow Domain had five Overlords that were the oldest existences in the land of fables.

He might have been able to deal with one or two of them, but if he went against the Shadow Domain, which was ruled by five of them, then he was sure that he could never return alive, despite being a high-tier fable himself. And the boy was planning to do it?

"He is truly strange. But what if he could truly do it? That might change everything..."

He had many conflicting thoughts in his mind. At tis, he wondered if it was better to kill an existence like the boy, who could use fables as nothing more than raw materials to increase his own strength. But at other tis, he felt hesitant.

He wasn't sure just what kind of existence the boy was. If he was still hiding so things, then it might be no different than challenging death itself. Moreover, he had long promised soone that he wasn't going to kill anyone, whether they were fables or humans.

If he had to kill that boy, then he would have to break that promise, with no certainty of success.

He took a deep breath and ca to a hard decision. He slowly turned around and started walking away.

"I'm not like them," he said to himself, not forgetting the reason he had made a promise like this. "I will not paint my hands red. I will only create... Unless he tries to..."

He suppressed the conflicting thoughts and left the place, returning to the small hut where the girl was waiting to hear news from him.

He hadn't just reached the barrier around his hut when he heard a sound that caught his attention. He raised his head with a frown and saw sothing that looked like a strange, tallic bird soaring through the sky with a loud yet strange roar.

The strange thing disappeared into the distance, leaving only a trail of lightning in its wake.

"It looks like he left..." The old man mumbled, watching the trail of lightning slowly start to disperse.

He didn't know what was in the future of Elias. It looked more likely that the boy was going to die in the Shadow Domain, but if that didn't happen, then the old man didn't even want to imagine the kind of future that boy might create.

"I hope I didn't make a mistake by letting that girl save him..."

He dispersed the barrier around his residence, with no threats left in his domain anymore. He walked over to his hut to check up on the girl, only to find her lying on the bed, innocently sleeping.

He smiled, suppressing the troubleso thoughts that had been worrying him. He returned to his workshop and picked up the hamr, and started hitting the piece of tal again.

After the piece was straightened, he used another tool to carve a number on the tal. "3781. This should be enough."

He kept the hamr down, and stood up while carrying the piece that he had straightened. He carried the tal piece, and walked behind the hut.

"Command, Seventy Three."

Following his instructions, an opening appeared in the group, revealing tal stairs that were leading down into the unknown.

"I hope we never et again." He looked at the sky one last ti, before going down the stairs.
