"You brat, you almost ruined everything for with your evolution." The Constellation looked at Elias in the mirror, rembering the horrifying feeling of almost being erased.

"I don't know what that scary ability was that suppressed my conscience to such an extent that I couldn't even attempt anything. But I should thank you for weakening your conscience to such an extent."

He wasn't a fable that could be destroyed by a Soul Beast. Even the strongest fable couldn't destroy his corruption. He was destined to return to life with ti, as long as Elias didn't die. But Elias's evolution almost destroyed him.

He could still feel the frightening power within that evolution that destroyed the corruption, which had intended to destroy Elias's mind and body in order to accept him.

Fortunately, that evolution didn't destroy him completely. His essence and conscience were used for the rger to improve Elias even more, while he was forever suppressed within Elias's mind as a useless existence.

Even though he was upset with Elias for erasing his corruption, he was also sowhat glad that Elias created this weakness that allowed him a chance to be free.

Moreover, with the essence of other fables that worked to further strengthen Elias, the Constellation felt that it was even better for him. Even if it wasn't at its strongest, it was still able to fight back with this much, at least against a Fable of a middle world.

The Constellation turned around and started walking away from the mirror, looking forward to returning to life after such a long ti.

"As a favor for taking your body, I will help you kill that Fable. However, don't expect to return this body to you. Just be a good child and stay here forever."

When Elias's mind was at its weakest, the suppressed conscience of the Constellation broke free. And now it had no intention of going back. It still had too many things to finish, especially things like settling the score with the person that had slayed a god like him.

Within the mirror, Elias could be seen screaming sothing, but his voice never ca out of the mirror. It was as if he was in a prison, that made it impossible for him to interfere with anything, just like the trap in which the constellation had found itself before.

The roles had reversed, and Elias had ended up in that prison while his body was taken over by the constellation which returned to his body the mont that rger had finished.

....

Harbinger tried to pass through the storm, but it was like an impenetrable fortress. No matter how many tis she tried, she couldn't break through.

In the end, she was forced to give up and wait for the storm to end, and for Elias to step out of it. She was sure that he couldn't stay within that storm all his life. Even if it was a protective ability, it couldn't last forever.

Just as she had expected, a few hours passed before the storm began to weaken. The winds slowed, and the storm was on the verge of disappearing completely.

She was even able to see the vague silhouette of Elias within the weakening storm, which looked quite different from before, as if it wasn't even the sa person anymore.

After the storm completely disappeared, she was able to see Elias even more clearly. The person that appeared before her looked quite different from the one she had seen before the storm.

There was no child there. The person was much taller, as if his body had grown significantly. He looked like a proper teenager.

His clothes were mostly torn apart as he had grown older, revealing his well-toned body. But more than his body, and the lack of clothes, Harbinger's eyes were focused on his left arm.

She could see so strange marks that had spread all over that boy's left arm. The patterns seed to be alive, but more importantly, they were the sa patterns that were on her sword.

She could even see spatial cracks developing and healing around Elias's left arm, an ability that she could use with her sword only. It felt like sothing that should've been impossible for him to do.

She could see the changes that Elias had gone through, but her sword was nowhere to be found. She couldn't even feel it anymore. Even the other half of the Beast's body had gone missing.

"What did you do with my sword?" she asked Elias, still in disbelief.

It wasn't just Elias's left arm that had changed. His right arm had also gone through a change, as it was beginning with the essence of decay that belonged to the Ancient Beast of Decay.

As the Beast of Decay had a giant body, the essence of decay didn't feel that strong. But the essence around Elias's arms was thousands of tis stronger and more destructive, as if the entire essence of the beast of decay was rged with Elias's right arm alone.

Elias didn't even look at Harbinger when she questioned him. Instead, he was like a fascinated child, looking at his hands, moving his fingers, and growing fascinated by them.

It had been a long ti since he had actually felt sothing. He couldn't even rember how long. He started stretching his arms and even jumping around like a child who had just discovered a playground.

His behaviour appeared quite strange, especially since he was doing such childish things in the body of a teenager when he barely had any clothes on. The top half of his body was completely bare, and even the lower half was barely covered.

Harbinger's expression darkened at Elias's complete ignorance. It even looked as if he was mocking her. He wasn't even paying attention to her.

"Stop ignoring !" Harbinger demanded, as her wings spread wide. She flew, and within a blink of an eye, she appeared before Elias, grabbing him by the neck.

She raised him in the air, and asked, "What did you do to my sword?"

"Oh?" Elias looked at the Harbinger. "How foolish of . I almost forgot about you. Though I did promise that I will take care of you as a gift."

"What are you tal-" The Harbinger frowned. However, before she could even complete her sentence, she saw Elias grab her arm.

"Do you want to know a secret?" Elias asked the Harbinger.

He didn't even give her a mont to answer before continuing, "Everyone thinks that they are a monster, until they co across a real monster. And I... am... that real monster."
