Warning! Incompatible materials have been selected! A rger may result in unexpected outcos! Do you still want to proceed?

............

A blood red screen flickered before Elias amidst the storm, as if offering him the last chance to halt the process.

"It's too late for second thoughts. Proceed!" Elias exclaid as he accepted the rger, despite the warning.

The confirmation made the screen glitch for a few seconds, before it finally disappeared. The storm around Elias only intensified, as the Sword in his hand started to disintegrate, the fragnts of the sword flying inside his body to rge with him.

The body of the Beast of Decay went through the sa process, as it started transforming into specks of light that kept condensing with each passing second.

Within minutes, the body of the Beast of Decay, that was the size of a mountain, was condensed into the size of a football. It flew inside the storm, forcefully rging with Elias's body.

Elias had thought that his previous rger process was painful, but this ti, he truly felt what it ant to feel pain. He could feel as if his body was being split apart, a pain that even he couldn't bear.

It didn't even take a few seconds, before his vision turned dark, and his body and mind started shutting down to protect him from this pain that could split his consciousness apart.

It was like a protection chanism to ensure that he didn't completely break apart from the rger. anwhile, his body still kept going through the change.

The Harbinger was sent flying by the storm. However, she managed to regain her balance as she landed on her feet.

She looked at the storm that had appeared out of thin air, and asked, "Is that your last resort? Foolish. You should've allowed to kill you. Because now it'll be much more painful for you."

She raised her hand, and summoned the sword that was left inside the storm.

"Hmm?"

She waited for a few seconds with her hands raised in the air, but the sword didn't co flying for her. It made her feel strange.

The sword was a part of her existence. It was supposed to listen to her, so why wasn't it flying back to her? It was as if the sword was in a different realm altogether, far away from her.

She tried again, but the situation beca even worse for her as she coughed out a mouthful of blood, feeling as if a part of her existence was suddenly destroyed.

It was the first ti in a long while that she started panicking. Just what happened to her sword? She didn't waste a single second and tried to force her way inside the storm, knowing that sothing was really wrong.

Elias's body was surrounded by a storm that protected his body during the rger. Even if Harbinger tried to force her way through the storm, she wasn't able to. All her attacks were useless, as they were devoured by the storm.

Unlike the chaos that his body was going through, Elias's consciousness was in a much more peaceful place.

He found himself standing in a dark space. He couldn't feel any pain in this place, especially the one that his body was going through.

As he was wondering if he had passed out, he noticed sothing else in this darkness. Right before him, there was a tall mirror.

In the mirror, he could see a reflection. But that reflection didn't look like him at all. The person in that reflection was much older, looking like he was in his early twenties.

For a mont, he even wondered if that was still him. He looked at his hands, and managed to confirm that it wasn't the case. His hands and body were still that of a twelve year old, but the reflection was of soone much older.

As he walked closer to the mirror, he saw the reflection also stepping closer. It was truly a reflection that followed his movents.

"Is this so subconscious trick?" Elias wondered, stopping just just a foot away from the mirror. He raised his right hand, and saw the reflection also raised its hand.

Other than the age of the reflection being different, nothing else appeared to be strange. It felt like a weird dream, and nothing more. He stopped paying attention to the reflection, and started wondering about the status of his body.

"I wonder what is going on outside. If I don't wake up before the rger is complete, then will I die without even knowing what happened there?" he mumbled, as he started frowning.

Subconsciously, his gaze fell back on the mirror as he was lost in thoughts. However, he noticed sothing strange. He was frowning at the mont, and there was certainly no smile on his face. Then why did the reflection look as if it was smiling?

His frown deepened, as he started stepping away from the mirror, but the reflection in the mirror didn't move back, which gave Elias a bad feeling.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a hand ca out from the mirror, belonging to the reflection. The hand grabbed Elias's hands, and pulled him closer to the mirror.

Elias was forcefully pulled inside the mirror, and at the sa ti, the reflection followed his movents, and stepped out of the mirror in a similar manner.

"Hah, it feels much more refreshing now." The reflection, or rather, the existence that ca out of the mirror, seed quite pleased as it looked at Elias who was inside the mirror.

Elias was hitting on the mirror to get out of there, but he couldn't break through the mirror to get out.

"It is useless, no matter how much you struggle. You will forever be trapped here. From now on, this body of yours belongs to ," the existence said, stretching his arms as if it had been a long ti since he felt that way.

"Who are you?!" Elias asked, as he kept struggling to get out of the mirror.

"Did you forget so easily, even after you took my corruption?" The reflection answered.

"You're a fable?" Elias exclaid, his mind in a complete ss.

He knew that he was corrupted by a fable that needed him to get a Soul Pet if he didn't want to be taken over. But he was sure that the corruption was erased during his evolution.

He had verified it with his Material Composition. Even if the corruption still existed, it should have taken a longer ti to take over his body. So how?

"A fable?" The existence asked, sounding disgusted. "Don't group with those embarrassing things. I'm a Constellation, or a god as you would call ! And now, this god will return to life through you!"
