When Darius left the others to get better so he would take down Aya, he was not trying to get himself caught in anything else. But then three minutes after he left their side, they were shaken up by the rumbling happening close to them.
When Theo got up, looked around, and was confused about a lot of things. One of them was that he was on the ground with Darius nowhere in sight. His mory was hazy, but then he could rember sothing a bit vague, and it was rather disturbing for him.
He could rember himself stabbing Darius with his spear, but he was not in any way sure that was the mory he wanted to see. He could see Darius pushing them away, fighting trying to get sothing done with them.
Darius was looking at them trying to make sure that there was nothing going to happen to them while they fought him.
Theo sat there, he placed his hand on his head trying to get everything to make sense to him at once but there was nothing that would even add together what had happened.
"What in the world happened?"
He looked around to see Michael and Raya getting up close to him.
"My head hurts," Michael staggered as he got up, looking around like a child who had lost a toy.
"Where is Darius?"
He asked the question that was on the other two’s minds, they didn’t know if it was part of what they were doing but then there was no Darius which ant that there was a chance that what they were all seeing wasn’t a dream.
Raya scratched her head, She looked down and saw that her blade was stained in blood.
"I didn’t cut him did I?"
She picked up the blade, examining it many things were going through her mind.
"Guys, I am having the weirdest mory fluke here, I keep seeing attacking Darius and you guys are stabbing him with your weapons...."
Michael looked up, he could see the horror on their faces and he was then sure that what he was having wasn’t a fluke but it was sothing else.
"I am having the sa problem here," Theo stood up, his spear in his hands looking around. He couldn’t tell but he was sure that they had attacked Darius, and from the looks of things.
He didn’t fight back...
"But we would never attack him, so how on earth would that happen?"
Raya was confused, she didn’t know what it was that would even make them think of hurting soone like Darius.
Theo didn’t know what he was going to say but then there was still the sa mory in his mind and it was really hard for him to shake off that easily.
"I don’t know what it is but there is a chance that..."
"Soone hijacked our minds,"
Michael completed the words Theo had on his mind, he was not sure if what he said was in any way possible but he knew that there was a chance that it wasn’t the lie there.
"How on earth is that possible?" Raya was looking at Michael, they didn’t know how but if it was at least a bit sure that there was a way for soone to use magic on their minds like that and it was even clear that there was no way for them to push it aside as sothing that anyone could do.
"I don’t know why but it’s engraved in my mind and I can’t seem to erase it." Theo stood there, he didn’t want to push it out imdiately but then there was sothing bothering him.
If they were still there, then where was Darius?
Kaboommmmm!
The three of them turned to the other side, and they could feel the mana surge coming from there. They grabbed their weapons and were ready to strike once they saw anything that was a bit off for them.
"I think if we go to wherever that sound ca from we would see Darius!"
Theo didn’t wait another second, he swung his spear and dashed for the scene with the other two right behind him. He didn’t want to imagine if what he had seen was the truth but he knew better than to wait there and try to let sothing take Darius down.
They burst out of the other part of the dungeon, spotting Darius but not only that they saw a monster that looked like what the warriors in stories fought with. From what they saw, it was about to impale Darius.
"No!"
Theo charged up his wind attack aiming for the monster’s tentacle, Raya and Michael did the sa thing knowing that they wouldn’t be able to get to the monster to land a powerful direct blow.
The three of them charged up an attack that was going to give them enough ti to get to Darius.
"Zephyr’s Thrust!"
"Avalon’s Slash!"
"Golden Gatling!"
The three roared as they fired attacks that carried enough power to kill fifty n in one swoop, the strike pushed Aya back from Darius.
The monster shrieked turning back to see the other three standing there looking at her.
"More mortals?!" She turned letting out a debating wail that made the warriors shake a bit. It sounded like a hundred children crying followed by the cries of agony from n.
Darius had enough ti to get up, he didn’t even waste any ti to launch for Aya. Using the cobra blade he took out one of her tentacles crash landing next to the others.
They were still stunned by the wails from the monster in front of them.
Darius had landed on his back, looking at the top of the dungeon there was nothing in his way. Anymore turning to look at his friends.
"You know, I would have handled this if you didn’t show up..."
He joked, Theo was in horror as he looked at the wounds he knew that Darius was not the type of person to even back down when he was in a situation like that.
"Michael, make sure you heal all his wounds!"
Theo turned to look at Aya, he knew that the beast was sothing that he wouldn’t wish to battle not even in his dreams but then looking at her there was sothing about it that made her a bit worried.
"So this isn’t going to head the way I would expect it would."
Holding his spear tightly, his hands began to glow green. He knew that there was no way he would be able to get things done if he wasn’t careful.
’Let’s dance...’
Theo dashed for Aya, using his wind powers as a way to move calmly over the pond he planned to use his spear to pierce the being.
Aya blocked it with a tentacle, her fast reflexes were seemingly unmatched when it ca to the warriors.
"Insolent mortals all of you!" She roared as she fired the bullets at Theo, being a swift warrior Theo was able to maneuver through it all.
He landed on the other dry side of the dungeon, taking slow and deep breaths Theo charged up an attack with his spear.
"Zerions Cannon!"
Theo fired a powerful blast of mana, the waves from the blast cleared the water as it went straight for Aya.
Before the guardian could move another attack ca from the other side. A blue fla strong enough to push Aya back letting Theos attack to hit her.
"Ahh, vile mortals!" Aya let out a shriek of pain, turning to Theo then she turned to see Raya holding her katana close.
"All of you will die here!"
Aya roared, the water rose covering her like a cocoon. The warriors took a step back looking at the monster in front of them trying to use an ability that they didn’t even know what they would call.
"What in the world is it planning to do?" Theo braced himself, he knew what could happen if he wasn’t on a clear mind.
"I know that move!"
Darius sprang up, his body healed all the wounds and bruises Aya had given him, and the system’s rule couldn’t affect him with Michael there.
He turned to Michael nodding his head, "Thank you!"
Darius turned back to Aya, he drew Ve’xa out knowing that there was no way he would be letting her get what she wanted.
He took in a deep breath looking at the sword in his hands.
It was his first ti bringing the blade out since it got that upgrade.
"Let’s go, Ve’xa!"
Darius roared, the blade began shaking letting out a powerful shriek that scared the other warriors. Ve’xa slowly broke into its seven segnts, and Darius looked up with a determined look on his face.
"Take my firepower, Ve’xa!"
Darius filled the sword with his chaotic flas, and the blade burned bright crimson. Covering his legs with flas he launched himself like a rocket for the guardian.
"Slash Of The Unjust!" Darius roared as he sent a powerful slash at the cocoon.
The slash hit delivered a powerful hit on the cocoon, but the protective barrier didn’t let it through. Instead, it countered the hit sending Darius crashing back into the walls.
"Darius!" Theo and Raya yelled together, Michael rushed to pull him out. When they turned to look at the monster again they could tell one thing.
Whatever was coming out, wasn’t going to be playing fair.
