With a single thought, he moved it to the top of his list, and his gaze moved toward all the elental options before him.
'Absolute zero?' Even with all his current power, he could only get infinitely close to it, yet now he had the option to potentially go even lower.
'How can it be colder than the absolute zero?' The temperature represented the energy contained within the atoms, all the energy vanishing when reaching the absolute zero temperature.
'How can energy be lower than zero? What will it even do?' He didn't cross it out as he potentially saw its potential.
'Nah, this isn't going anywhere. I should at first eliminate the bad ones.'
He snickered as he imdiately crossed out the most useless option, 'Frost flesh… such a garbage, I can just stick myself into a freezer to accomplish the sa thing.'
'Fusing so opposing elents? Thanks, but no, there is too much randomness in it. It is simply not worth it.'
Finally, there was one option that wasn't just useless but also dangerous and troubleso to use.
'Forming barrier out of my soul?' He had already invested in powerful defenses without the terrifying negatives of the soul barrier. His body could always quickly regenerate, but if his soul took damage instead, it would also regenerate thanks to the resilience of the draconic souls, but it would be a much slower process.
He could finally focus on the remaining ones with the bad ones gone.
'Infuse my soul into my breath to attack directly the souls of my enemies?' His breath was already super destructive, especially after his latest tamorphosis and when fueled by divine energy.
'If it could directly strike souls, it would be too terrifying. Would I erase an entire being out of existence?'
The only problem was the cost. Even though he kept it as an option for now, knowing it could potentially beco an ergency-use-only reverse uno card.
'Isolating scales? It is not a bad thing, but is it truly necessary? My scales are already more than capable of doing it, and I see no interesting synergy with the other attributes.' He imdiately moved it to the bottom of the list, straight into the diocre category.
'Engrave spell circuits into my soul? That might be a good option.' Magic was powerful beyond his doubt, and he had already invested much into it.
'If I engrave a defensive spell, it will boost my defense, if I engrave an offensive one like my breath lenses, the power of my breath will jump again.' It was a no-brainer to him due to its imnse versatility as he easily moved it up the list.
'What about making my soul orbit? It could either be garbage or sothing good.' His mind hurt as he tried to think about the effects of doing sothing like it with his knowledge of magic and modern science, 'What insight? Maybe an insight into gravity? Or so stupendous power generation?'
His curious mind and past life of trying whacky builds itched him to try it and hope for the best.
Still, in the end, his rationality won, making him realize it was too risky to just do so random thing with his soul without knowing its consequences.
The lingering ambers of the craving to create and test new powers and combos remained, providing him to think about the next possibility.
'There is also the potential combo of empowering the frost-bases elents, fire-based elents, and the option to combine their boosts.' Just the sheer potential of the numbers made him consider it.
'My most powerful elent right now, apocalyptic storm contains both, so it would greatly profit out of this combo.'
The glow of his eyes brightened, and his breath sped up as he recognized he was on the right track.
'Yes, maybe if I throw the absolute zero power on top of that it will synergize even better!'
He wasn't so noob and knew it was always more powerful to pick abilities with good synergy instead of those that might sound extrely powerful on their own but lacked potential for combos and synergy.
Fuse his body with a soul? Soul-damaging properties to his breath attack? The magic soul? They were all-powerful, but they were just funny gimmicks, whereas right before him was the combo of perfectly synergizing powers that would also synergy with his already existing ones.
'That leaves the one last slot.' Even though the one div stat didn't sound staggeringly high, he had to consider its future potential.
'If it opens the divine path for my soul, then it is worth it.'
