POV Vesuvius:
The noble draconid genuflected in the smoke, its golden eyes averted to the ground. Even though the beast's sprawling and powerful aura blazed from its body like heat from an oven, it didn't dare to directly look at the dragon lord throning on his pile of gold and jewels.
'Divine guardian? Should I do it?' Just from the description, it sounded like sothing powerful and useful. But, he still had doubts about it, 'From the description, it looks like I would have to regularly feed it my divine energy.'
He wasn't even bothered about the price, as with his domain and world, he had a nearly unlimited supply of mana he could transform, 'It just feels like a hassle, and it is akin to turning into a working parent supporting an entire family.'
But he knew they were just useless thoughts and that the benefits greatly surpassed the cons.
'Especially I want to try it and see what it can do.'

You have made the unnad Noble Draconid your divine guardian.

The surge of new knowledge flooded the dragon's mind, containing all the knowledge he needed to do the ancient ritual.
'What would I do without you, my system? If I ever find the person or being that has created you, I must thank them.'
A thin tether of energy rose from the dragon's heart, one golden letter after another forming in his mind while the energy slowly slithered toward the awaiting beast. Then the last rune ca to life, and the energy accelerated and shot like an arrow straight to its chest.
The connection between their two souls widened and expanded, drilled by the surge of divine energy. If it had been just like a village road before, it was now like a highway, the thoughts and energy freely flowing between their two souls.
A slither of divine pulsed through the newly expanded road, the single droplet of it rushing down towards the awaiting beast.
The mont the energy reached it, its body spasd, and its eyes turned into miniature suns of golden fire. The fire ignited around its armor, lightning bolts struck between its horns, and a layer of frost spread over its entire body surface.
It didn't grow in size, but its aura multiplied, even the air warping around it, the magma flowing within its armor gaining a slight golden luster.
'Divine guardians. If I can create them, that ans others can too. So, I should expect to fight against them sooner or later.'
The beast raised its head with its crystal and ice mask, smoke pouring out of its nostrils.
"Command !"
Vesuvius grinned at the zeal of his latest creation, "Go, my servant! Go, and convince these old, stubborn monsters!"
'There are still a lot of wyrms and other lesser of my kind that refused or ignored my invitation. That can't work! I am the dragon lord and I have the command here!' Now, he had his loyal dog he could send out, to punish and show them who is the ruler.
'Respect and authority work only to a certain degree, but sotis a good beating is needed, to convince soone.'
POV Alesia:
Small silver clocks rhythmically ticked through the small but exquisitely furnished room of black marble. The black-haired, horned woman ogled the elven girl with shining red eyes, making Alesia stare back at her.
"You have changed again. I feel it in your aura. It is now like a burning furnace, threatening to burn by just looking at it."
"That should be thanks to his Majesty..." She brought up the cup of tea and took a small sip. The calming and refreshing taste of herbs spilled all over her tongue, stimulating her taste cups and mind, "Why have you co here? You never visit for nor reason..."
Only a few persons got into the inner circle of the dragon, yet they were all loners, keeping the space from each other. It was part of their draconic nature to keep to their own territories.
The noblewoman threw a single letter on her table cut from a single block of polished black marble, sliding it to her, "Report from our agents."
The elve's heterochromatic eyes went wide the mont they fell upon it. She spat the herbal tea out of her mouth, her hand slightly trembling as her eyes moved from one line to another.
She quietly murmured as she read, "The immortals are rebelling. They have attacked the anti-demon coalition. The entire frontline collapsed after a few assassinations of key powerhouses, and the demons broke through. So of them even grouped together... forming their own country."
She was horrified as, for the first ti, she realized the horror of the immortals. Until now, they were all passive and mostly helpful folk, fearing the law like everybody else.
'But now, they went berserk... they are out of control.' The thought of armies of unkillable beings going berserk was enough to make her face pale.
"I have already ordered all the borders to be closed. We can't allow free movent of immortals."
Alesia nodded, her blonde ponytails bouncing up and down in acknowledgnt, "That is good. We can't allow any more immortals to enter. But what about these that are already in?"
The red eyes of the woman sitting opposite of her flashed, and a smile ford on her face, "They are no signs of revolting. Instead, they started to work harder than ever before. I don't know what happened, but it had exact opposite effects on ours."
Alesia stopped, her thoughts going back to her master speaking to the immortal, her heart pounding as she realized the panic was not in place, 'It is all master's doing. He is the one who incited the immortals. So it ans this is an expected situation.'
It was no secret the immortals were like a hivemind with their ability to share information between them with a shocking speed. Sotis they acted like separate entities, but at other tis they moved united and decisively as if a single mind was behind them.
"It is alright. Everything is going as planned. This is the work of His Majesty!"
