The friendly affections between girls didn’t interest Uesugi Sakura, so he didn’t stop their playful scuffle.

"Do you all have confidence to make it to the top ten in this month’s test?" he asked everyone.

Ayaka Rie was still scratching Hanamaru Hanabi’s belly with a mischievous grin, her hands wielding the Iron Claw Technique, ignoring Uesugi Sakura’s question.

"Stop... Rie-chan, please stop... haha... don’t tickle anymore...."

"Hehe, tell and I’ll stop."

Under Ayaka Rie’s devilish skills, Hanamaru Hanabi’s body trembled, tears of pain and laughter forming at the corners of her eyes.

"As for , it shouldn’t be a problem," said Kyujuu Rika, "Mr. Haneda’s practice problems are very concise, covering basically all the knowledge points. My math weaknesses have pretty much been filled in, so I should be able to make it to the top ten this ti."

Uesugi Sakura nodded to her. The class representative’s scores were already not bad, and with the study sessions by Tokyo University prodigy Haneda Kimu, there was every hope for success.

Kiyohara Tomomi said confidently, "I feel like I have a good chance to be in the top five this ti, how about you, Uesugi?"

"Pretty much, getting into the top ten shouldn’t be a problem,"

said Uesugi Sakura casually, but actually, he felt he would at least make the top three this ti.

With an intelligence of 8, understanding the questions felt as smooth as watching a video.

Uesugi Sakura looked again at the two playfully tussling before him.

He knew Hanamaru Hanabi well, and as long as he helped her study a bit more recently, getting into the top ten was totally possible.

As for the rest, it was only Ayaka Rie.

"Haha... stop... please stop... don’t..."

"Co on, speak up, speak up, speak up!" Ayaka Rie tickled from the belly to the slim waist.

"Haha... Hanabi... Hanabi... ha... no... not saying....."

Hanamaru Hanabi’s innocent face was flushed, her body limp over her desk, gasping, with her sailor suit’s little red neckerchief rising and falling with her heaving chest.

"Ugh, fine then."

Seeing her like this and still not giving in, Ayaka Rie had to give up.

She was clearly worn out.

Uesugi Sakura curiously concerned:

"How did you wear Hanabi out like this, just to ask about that trivial thing from this morning?"

"Sakura-kun... I’m fine....."

"Doing mischief in the morning while I wasn’t around, and dragging Hanabi-chan to team up against . One day I’ll figure it all out."

"What about the top ten in the monthly test?"

"Don’t worry about , I’ll pass." Ayaka Rie’s tone softened a lot.

"You won’t pass," Uesugi Sakura said calmly; he knew Ayaka Rie’s level well.

"I will pass!"

"You won’t pass," he said firmly.

Ayaka Rie gave up; she admitted she couldn’t pass, "Then you say, what should I do."

"On the weekend, co to Hanabi’s ho to continue the study session, I’ll help you two with the math problems. If you want to improve, you’ll have to spend a little more ti."

"Alright, it’s a deal!"

This ti, Ayaka Rie agreed readily. Uesugi Sakura didn’t say much more and continued with his own work.

In the night, there was no more of the gentle dayti rain, though the bright moon was still obscured.

The sky’s only light was blocked by gray clouds, but in the bustling, busy Tokyo, few would notice this.

"Two takoyaki, one super spicy, please."

"That’ll be 1260 yen, thank you for your patronage."

On the road, Hanamaru Hanabi popped the spicy takoyaki into her small mouth.

"Be careful, it’s hot."

"Ooh... hot..."

Uesugi Sakura had just reminded her when Hanamaru Hanabi let out a weak whimper, with tears at the corners of her eyes.

She was evidently burned badly.

The two stopped on the narrow street.

Hanamaru Hanabi slightly lifted her head, exhaled hot air, and after the takoyaki struggled in her mouth, she cruelly swallowed it down.

One gulp for one takoyaki.

Even the large kind.

Uesugi Sakura, watching her sowhat pitiful side profile, took out a bottle of water from his bag, opened the cap, and handed it over: "Here, have so water."

"Thank you, Sakura-kun..."

"Is it tasty?"

"Mm... tasty," Hanamaru Hanabi said weakly after taking a sip of water.

"Why did you finish it in one bite this ti, not even leaving the green onions on top?"

"Because... eating it this way... feels incredibly satisfying... you should try it too, Sakura-kun!"

"Is that so."

"Yeah!"

"..."

"Alright, I’ll give it a try."

Under Hanamaru Hanabi’s expectant gaze, Uesugi Sakura picked up a takoyaki with a fork, opened his mouth wide, and popped it in.

Took a bite.

Instantly, the juices exploded in his mouth, and the unique soft and chewy texture of the takoyaki blossod in his mouth, tantalizing every nerve of his tongue.

The perfectly tid onion aroma paired with the exquisite taste of the sauce and at left an indelible taste experience.

It even filled the brain with a sense of blissful happiness.

Savoring the lingering taste in his mouth, Uesugi Sakura instinctively nodded:

"Indeed, it is good."

"Right," Hanamaru Hanabi bead, "Do you want to try Hanabi’s, Sakura-kun? With chili, it would be even better. Hanabi would never lie to Sakura-kun!"

Saying that, she cupped in her hands the bright red takoyaki and offered it to Uesugi Sakura.

"This...," Uesugi Sakura hesitated a mont, "I’ll pass, Hanabi, yours is too spicy for to handle."

Having tried Hanabi’s food once before left him coughing even after drinking a liter of milk, leaving a deep-seated fear in his heart.

The sa was true for the beef curry he had at Hanabi’s place yesterday.

Hanamaru Hanabi’s curry was different from what others had, hers was the super spicy version specially made by Hanamaru iko.

The kind that leaves you with flushed cheeks.

"Alright then..."

Hanamaru Hanabi took back the small box, picked up another bright red takoyaki, and popped it into her mouth.

Biting down, she wore a beautiful smile.

She’s quiet when eating noodles or rice, only when eating these super spicy foods does she break into a smile.

It’s true love.

Uesugi Sakura thought to himself, but he just couldn’t understand how she could eat such spicy foods.

Perhaps this is the difference between people.

He picked up the golden-brown takoyaki in his hand again, and imitating how Hanamaru Hanabi had taught him, popped it into his mouth.

Took a bite.

Bliss blossod in his mouth.

The lights of nightti Tokyo were the dazzling neon, and amidst the overflowing happiness, the two walked side by side, leaving two gradually elongating shadows behind them, continuing on the road ho.
